Talk about a unique experience, the waiter described it as a satanic-pirate-gay tiki bar. A unique tiki-themed ambience with authentic (powerful) tiki drinks and an interesting crowd! Definitely a must-see tiki experience with unexpected music, friendly crew, and original crazy drink menu (you need to read those drink descriptions)!

    Such adorable decor!

SUCH a great place to go with your Christian family after church or to explore the authentically MAGA dives in Denver. The price of the drinks are worth the support of Jesus and America...

This whole place is a VIBE- an absolute must! Small but well utilized space with an eclectic collection of the most random things, further outdone by Christmas decor and the Grinch inspiring a holiday cocktail menu of its own. Beyond classics (ie: old fashioned) they have put together an incredibly unique blend of ingredients you wouldn't expect to elevate your drink. Definitely enjoyed. Will certainly return!

Soooo fun! The service was soo good and fast! The onion dip is to die for! And they had a beetlejuice themed drinks for the broadway show that was in town! Couldn't miss that! Loveeeee the vibe inside too! It's got such a fun dark vibe! Perfecttttt for upcoming spooky season pregame!

This place was super cool and unique. We arrived a few minutes prior to our reservation time and we waited for the hostess at the stand. The host seemed very standoffish from the beginning and just gave us rude vibes. He had us pick a table and he then brought out water and menus. We looked them over and went up to the bar to order. The bar area was full with other people so it was really hard to order when this spot is very small. The host was now there helping out the other bartender and took our orders. Again he gave us a rude tone and took our orders with an arrogant demeanor. The drinks were pretty good, they were fun, and prices were reasonable but the customer service aspect sucked.

I'm such a sucker for a great tiki bar, and Hell or High Water did not disappoint! The bar is located within another bar, Honor Farm, so it's easy to miss. However, you will need to go through the bar and up the stairs in the back to get to Hell or High Water. One of my favorite things about tiki bars is the interior design and I absolutely LOVED the decorations here! Lots of di*k imagery, and very LGBTQ-friendly. My friend and I came on a Tuesday evening after dinner and ordered off the Happy Hour menu. He got a Saturn which was delicious! I ordered a Back From The Dead, a customizable order off their HH menu. I asked the Bartender to make me something with tequila and to surprise me. What I got was so delicious! I really enjoyed interacting with the bartenders and letting them be creative with my custom drink. If you're uncertain or indecisive about a drink, ask them for their recommendations! The vibes here are excellent and I'm looking forward to returning!

As a tiki bar fan this place doesn't disappoint. The decor is up there with the best. The drinks are epic. The staff is friendly. The only down side is, this bar is tucked away in jr upstairs loft of another bar and sometimes they have a coverchahe to get in. With this being a bar within a bar the wait can be long, but it's worth the wait.

I had a great time at this bar for a Halloween night out! We stopped here before going to a costume party and had some drinks. The whole place was decorated, the drinks were super creative and fun and the service was amazing. Their upstairs tiki bar area was open as well, though we did not venture up there. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a fun themed bar in this area!

Missing my shoe since I had to use it as a drink deposit!

We always love to check out a tiki bar when we're on vacation so we were excited to find Hell or High Water! My drink used a mug that is in short supply so I had to turn over a shoe as collateral :) Definitely a fun place to check out before or after dinner in downtown Denver. It's a small bar so we opted to get there when they opened at 5pm on a Saturday. We were there by ourselves until about 5:15 but when we left at 6 it was getting crowded.

Was very excited to come here with my sister and cousin. The inside is super cool and there are so many cool items to look at. The hostess was rude and not friendly. It was weird. The drinks were good and reasonably priced.

Well decorated tiki speakeasy on the second floor of the horror bar. The bar area itself is fairly small but it really leans into the theme which was great. I ordered a drink that came in a custom Frankenstein tiki mug (apparently only 50 of these mugs exist) so they ask you to leave behind a shoe to make sure you return the mug lol. Overall amusing experience.

Wow, what a fun place! Place a reservation ahead of time. And also note that the tiki bar is at the second level of the bar. There is limited seating so please be aware of this as you head over here. There are a lot of naughty references and this seems to be a LGBTQ+/LGBTQ+ friendly bar. The menu is so fun with all of the innuendos and the drinks are another level more. Super delicious and a fun time. For some of the drinks, you have to give your ID and a shoe to hold in order to get the drink. This is cause people would break or steal the glass apparently. The bathrooms are downstairs btw so if you are missing a shoe, note that you'll need to go downstairs in your sock.

This is my go to in Denver!! This place is amazing, the drinks are expertly crafted, and the vibe is one-of-a-kind. There's no comparison, best drinks, service, and ambiance in the area.

Bedlam was recommended to us for late night drinks by staff working in one of the restaurants at our hotel. During our short stay in Denver, we went to Bedlam twice. The first time was around 11:30 on a Thursday night. We had a few cocktails along with a cheese and charcuterie plate. The second time was around 12:30 on a Saturday night when we came in for a night cap. The first time we came in, it wasn't too busy, and we were encouraged to sit wherever we wanted. The bar was full so we chose a small table. Our server gave us menus, though specials were written on a chalkboard above the bar. We each tired a couple of cocktails and had a shot called the Master Shot. We also chose the make-your-own charcuterie board. Our favorite drink was the Woo Girl, which allowed us to choose our spirit of choice. I chose gin and my friend chose tequila. When we returned a couple of nights later, we knew already we were going to order the Woo Girl cocktail. It was packed on a Saturday night, but there was a small table in back where they seated us. This bar is more for spending time with the friends you come with, rather than mingling, as staff seats you at a table. It doesn't seem like they offer standing room or just squeezing in, though maybe we just didn't experience that. That said, all in all, I really enjoyed Bedlam and recommend it to anyone going to Denver.

I had the eggs Benedict with duck, which was savory and tender- would get again, even if it was a little small for a $22 meal. I also got a mimosa and a raspberry beret- the beret was delicious and served with the coolest presentation- they used dry ice to create smoke! The decor is very maximalist mid century- love it! Great for a date or if you are impressing someone. Don't let the location scare you off- everything around it looks closed but once you get inside it's absolutely beautiful. I can't end this review without gushing about the staff. I had a weird fainting episode and scared the crap out of my friend- our server and the rest of the staff were on it, so sweet and helpful. They got me a cold towel and an ice bucket so that I could recover. I was so impressed by how they handled everything! Ultimately, I would come back just for the service, but the food and drinks were excellent as well. Definitely worth returning for!

Lincolns absolutely delivers on the speakeasy vibe - from trying to find the door, to figuring out how to actually get inside (LOL), to settling in with drinks once you're finally through. It makes the whole experience feel interactive and memorable. **Tip: it actually isn't too hard to find. I won't completely spoil it for people who want the fun of the hunt, but I'll leave a few hints at the bottom. The drink special that night - their version of an Old Fashioned - was excellent and absolutely worth ordering. The other cocktails are liquor + mixer with the soda or bar gun. We tried a local gin (can't remember the name) & soda and a Four Roses Bourbon & Pepsi. There was a odd flavor that came with that round and tasted watered down. Stick with the special. So good! I'd go back all day for the special alone. The staff was a little bit of an outlier compared to the rest of the experience. Everyone was nice, but they didn't seem especially engaged, and the attire didn't really match the speakeasy atmosphere. That said, the space itself is large and immersive enough that once we had our drinks, we just leaned into the whole experience and had a great time. HINTS: 1. Go to the address listed... duh. 2. Something is COOKING through the glass. 3. Find the stairs down. 4. If you hear music and see some impressive doors, figure out how to LIFT the handle to get inside.
