Wow, my first time trying Guamian food. Every dish sounded flavorful and unique, it was hard to…read morepick. My geography is so bad, I had to ask our group where Guam was. If yours is bad too, apparently it's a small island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean between South Korea/Japan and Australia. The vibes definitely reminded me of hawaii. They had live music and the decor was very tropical. My husband said it also reminded him of Tahiti. A nice little tropical vacation in the middle of the Mission. 5/5 eggplant - it comes out cold but I enjoyed the smokey flavor with the creamy sauce 3/5 corn chowder - a bit watery and came with crispy pieces on top 5/5 empanada - has collard greens in it, great crunch and flavor. 4/5 crispy pork belly - I really liked the savory beets and how they kept the pork belly less saucey. Not overly crunchy or hard to chew. A handful of pieces were all fat though. 5/5 egg noodle - a very flavorful dish with noodle, tomatoes, ground beef, and mushrooms. A bit pricey for what it is though. Cocktails were refreshing. Service was great, love how it wasn't overly crowded and sitting on the patio on a beautiful sunny day with live music and great cocktails and delicious food with great company was a perfect match. Will definitely come back!

We recently attended their Guam Liberation Day celebration and were disappointed by what we got for…read morethe value, which was $45 per person. I think our whole group left disappointed, which is a shame because we were so excited to experience this event. For starters, the food wasn't good. What was promised was a 'fiesta bowl' but they served plates with mediocre amounts of food. It was two scoops of red rice, 2-3 chicken wings that were cooked well but had legit zero flavor or seasoning at all, a small amount of kimchi, and I think a scoop of mac salad? I bought a glass of soda for $5 and it was a tiny, tiny plastic cup that they filled from a large 2liter bottle. It was a really cheap experience. At least give people a can of soda for $5. I feel like that'd be easier. Everything was incredibly overpriced, even by SF standards, because of the portions. You expect a "normal" portion for this high cost, but the portions are small which makes you feel taken advantage of. They did have live music but only 2 games for kids, it just was a very weak execution from our groups' experience. There were less games than what was in their email advertisement photos. Overall the ambiance was chaotic. I think everyone rushed in around the same time, tables got filled quickly, and then it died down when people finished eating and got bored. It wasn't really a consistent 1-5pm event from a vibe standpoint. Employees were recommending people go save seats while the other party gets their food and drinks. This made eventually finding a table to sit at very annoying. A lot of people had to split their group to be able to sit. I don't want to play a Hunger Games version of find a table to an event I paid a seat for. If they sold X amount of tickets, they need to ensure they had that amount of seats. Otherwise, space out when people can arrive. Organization wise, it was just frustrating. My fiance gave our food tickets to their employee but groups were served before us because he was standing at the back of the "line" vs the front...which wasn't the instructions we were told. The guy confirmed how many plates/tickets, told us specifically to stand in the back and they'll call us when the food is ready. But the people standing closer to him, who arrived after us, were all served before us... We came in optimistic and left hungry and disappointed.
