I had the pleasure to meet Amanda and I was greeted with a delicious apple caramel mimosa. Amanda absolutely set a tone for the whole experience. Everything was clean, fresh and very modern. Amanda explained to me step-by-step how the tint, shaping brows and what my skin could look like afterwards. I was thankful that Amanda took the time to explain the whole experience. I highly suggest scheduling your next session for the 4-6 weeks to see your favorite esthetician. Beyond thrilled to had found a locally owned facility. Can't wait to go back! After reading other reviews, I booked a Brazilian with Ashley and I loved her so much I bought a package! Ashley was prompt, incredibly welcoming and very receptive to my needs during the experience. She explained each step to me, even though this is by no means my first rodeo, to ensure I was comfortable and felt in control of the appointment. That said, Ashley's technique was wonderful and she had me in and out of the room in 15 minutes (LOVE! Who wants to spend extra time on the paper-lined table, am I right?) When I got home and looked closely in the mirror I saw that I had several red abrasion. Not sure if it was because the wax was too hot and burned my skin or if my skin was ripped. So I had a bit of scabbing on my face for a few days which reduced my enthusiasm for returning for future waxing here. I'm not sure what went wrong and this is not my first facial waxing. I have been going to Hilary for my eyebrows for years and am surprised to see a few negative…read morereviews. She is very professional, caring and good at what she does. I live 30 mins from her work place and still go just for eyebrow waxing because she is the best (and yes, I tried other providers for comparison). She will talk if you want or silently focus on your brows. I appreciate this because there are some days I just want to come in and relax without chit chat. She has a policy of not accepting clients past 7 mins late as this keeps everyone on track. So I can always expect her to be on time for me, which is appreciated. "My goal is to help you feel confident, cared for, and on the path to your dream brows" is a false statement as she did quite the opposite and ruined my day. I asked her for a lighter color to fill mine in, but the "premium" pencil she handed to me is actually a shade darker than the shade I had on when I walked in the door. When I told her I was not happy with the result, her responses was "well that's just what you're working with with your eyebrows" and was genuinely so rude. She told me that I already know how to fill mine in so it was MY fault that I'm not happy with the service. She will most likely respond to this message with some customer service voice, but she is not what she makes herself out to be on her website.
