Update: so I go back and follow their instructions and purchase the specific products and use them as directed and my hair is still not straight. This Keratin does not work.

I was told by multiple stylists the work Locks and Lashes did was horrendous. The micro extensions were placed on thin pieces of hair, so the extensions would inevitably fall out fast. I remember a stylist watch Kay put in my extensions, and she whispered "you're doing this really fast...". She did it fast because she overbooked. The extensions were also placed in no pattern- trained stylist knows to place these extensions in rows, so it looked TERRIBLE and caused my hair to get tangled and matted up. Kay: I asked to lighten my hair only enough not to damage it. I specifically said do not overdo it as I knew it was damaged. Finally, Kay "misunderstood" what services I wanted during our initial consultation. I said I wanted the brown under my hair blonde, but Kay still scheduled a partial highlight (this does not cover the bottom of the hair). She did this because she's money hungry and tries to get in as many clients as possible per day. Masks were not required during the appointment, and the salon was at full capacity (and this was days after salons re-opened). Locks and Lashes clearly does not care about COVID protocols, as they broke several guidelines during my appointment. It felt like they were trying to maximize revenue and did not care about the safety of their clients, nor do they take pride in the work they do. If you're a victim of terrible extensions from this salon, *Amor Beauty by Andreia* is professionally trained in microbead extensions, and she fixed all the terrible work this salon did at a very reasonable price. I was really impressed with the work they did and decided then that I needed one of them to bless my hair with their hands, lol. I called the shop and spoke to Taniya/tnicole (omg my bad if I spelled your name wrong) and she was extremely nice and helpful. She was able to squeeze me in for an appointment with Jade. I was also able to purchase hair from them as well and that was super convenient. Not knowing where I was going, I arrived at the salon a little late but Jade was understanding and still was polite and professional. The salon itself is nicely decorated. One thing that really stood out to me was that a hair wash was still included in the service. Like that's so unheard of now which I don't understand why. Jade did an amazing job on my hair. My hair was laid OK?! I felt like a new woman and received several compliments as soon as I walked out of the salon door. I highly recommend them both. I didn't hear back so out of respect for her time, I drove 30 mins for my appointment. I walked in and there was music playing in the back and I could hear someone talking but the place was otherwise completely empty. I wasn't about to wander around since I honestly felt like I was intruding so I called, texted, and DMed again. I sent one last message around 9:30 saying that I was still here and that I'd be leaving soon unless I heard otherwise from her. At 9:35 I got an email that they had declined my 9:00 appointment. Screenshot included. Honestly I'm just super frustrated as I really needed this confidence boost and went out of my way (1 hour round trip) to be a respectful client only to be completely ignored. I have been platinum blonde before in the past for years and understood that it is a process and won't happen over night. I came in with a blonde balayage and asked her to just move the blonde up and eventually I would like to be completely blonde again. She said you do understand it's a process right? And I said, yes I understand just try your best to maintain the integrity of my hair. I have always had long hair and only get trims so my goal was to keep it as long as possible. Any way...6 hours later she takes my hair out of foils and it is BRIGHT ORANGE AND YELLOW with random PURPLE pieces from when some of my porous hair took up the toner. She did a "base break" at my roots and there were very harsh stripes (like brush lines) all around my face and it was embarrassing. She insisted on cutting it to my shoulders when I asked for just two inches off. I decided to tell her to cut it where she felt best....she cut off ALL my hair! She knew I was starting a brand new job next week and she said for me not to wash my hair, not to brush it, and to just wear my hair up for a few weeks until she can do it again. She had to go because her mother in law was in town and she was running late. She charged me....wait for it.... 600$ for this!!!!! She said it would be considered a "color correction" and she charged 100$/hour (at first she tried to charge 150$/hour but when she saw my jaw drop she said she could do 100$). I was in tears at this point. I thought she was kidding. She NEVER discussed the price with me beforehand. I didn't think it would be over 200-300$ max. I have never paid that much for my hair before....ever. AND she cut it all off :( I tried to talk with her about the price because if I had known it would be that much to begin with, I wouldn't have went through with it. I never asked to be jumped to blonde in one day- I told her I would like to start the process...this was not what I wanted. Now I have to walk around with horrendous hair, it's so embarrassing. When I called her and spoke with the manager at Salon Botanical- they refused to refund me. They said my hair wasn't finished and that I needed to come back in again in a few weeks....now I can't afford another 100$/hour service and I don't trust her touching my hair again. I am so so so upset. My hair is also falling out. No wonder she told me not to brush it because she knew it was start breaking. :( I really wish they could've at least refunded me so I could get it fixed somewhere else. Long story short: stay FAR FAR AWAY from SHARLINA. She doesn't care about her clients. I was in tears pulling my credit card out and when she handed me the devise to swipe my card, she put 20% gratuity on it (total $720) and good thing I saw instead of just signing- so I removed it. Since I never colored or treated my hair in any matter (virgin hair). Until last month. On march I decided to make my relationship serious with Ana Delia (Co-owner and overall hair genius). Ana Delia was super excited as was I going to do something new, especially when it meant color treating my virginial locks. The thing that I like about her service is that she really takes it upon herself to know each and every customer, in reguards to what they like and don't like, their professional/career and overall sense of fashion (she in not pushy or intimidating). Ana Delia suggested I get some highlights. Then she was on it. As I cringed the thought of bleaching, she assured me that she wouldn't over do it. So 2 hours or what seemed a small eternity. She was done. I was happy and in love with her work! Ana Delia knew I was worried about coming in for frequent touch-ups. She assured me that I won't havet to come in, not until six months from then. Yay for low maintenance. Its been a month and my hair looks great. I receive many compliments from total strangers and friends. My only suggestion to you is that you phone in to ask for an appointment or just to know the overall volume of customers. That way you won't be stuck reading a magazine or texting (wasting your battery). It gets pretty busy. Save yourself from boredom.
