Purchased the Groupon and called them before hand and she said that the coupon is a full Brazilian. When I arrived there, she said the coupon is only a bikini wax even though it says Brazilian on the coupon. She said if I want a full Brazilian then it's 15$ more. She refused the service. And before this, I went once and I got my area burned and it was very unprofessional. I was hoping that I'd get a better lady but it seems like it's only one working there. She is also very unprofessional. The waxer last time did not do a good job, burned my skin, and she double dipped her stick. Very unsanitary. Avoid at all cost. I came here because of a Groupon deal, but I truly wish I had just paid more to go somewhere reputable. Really wanted to give the benefit of the doubt, but this was by far the worst wax experience of my life. I was waxed by an Asian woman, and the session lasted 40 minutes -- something that usually takes me no more than 10-15 minutes elsewhere. She repeatedly pulled the wax in the same exact spots, to the point where I genuinely felt like my skin was being torn off. I usually have a pretty high pain tolerance, but I was literally fighting for my life the entire time. To make matters worse, at the end, she used the same wax strips (yes, with my hair and blood on them) to wipe me down. I didn't realize it till the end, it was so unsanitary. Then, she applied a gel like that was meant to "soothe" but honestly felt like hand sanitizer on a paper cut -- it stung everywhere. I left in pain, uncomfortable, and honestly pretty horrified. To make matters worse, there's still so much hair that didn't get pulled off properly. Despite the name of the place please, do yourself a favor and spend the extra money to go somewhere clean, professional, and safe. This was not worth the discount and I will never return. read more

I am a plus size girl so I've gotten some less than kind estheticians looks from other salons that assume I won't be able to spread / stretch, but right from the beginning Lana was super sweet, kind, and she works quick but exceptionally! Avoid going here. I wanted to try the Brazilian wax I paid what Groupon was charging for 2 in store. I have had this many times other places, and once before. They made it seem like I didn't pay. They want to upcharge for the back side it is included every other place I have gone to. Here is the worst part they don't use a fresh stick or wax paper each time so they have to go over the spot repeatedly until you bleed. Yep my undies were full of blood. I was in the area and needed a quick haircut. My hair style is pretty easy, buzz cut with the 0.5 clip. Although this may sound easy, many barbers mess it up. They miss spots and don't clean me up around the edges. So it may sound easy but it's all in the details! I did a quick search and found this place. Decided to give it a try. Pulled up and the shop was empty. They take credit card ($1.50 charge - my only complaint). This was higher the average charge but I was desperate. I sat down and the older lady started to cut. She took her time one way through and the most important thing is, she brushed down my head to make sure she didn't miss any spots. This was the key. She cleaned around the edges and was done in 10 minutes. I paid and tipped her so I was on my way. If you have a easy cut like mine, this place definitely will suit you well. She calms you down and talks you through her whole process, while working fast, efficiently, and confidently. I would definitely ask for Jessica because of her confidence in her work. The brazilian wax was so unnecessarily painful. Not only did she keep going over the same exact area over and over again, but she also kept touching my just freshly waxed skin with her glove that was covered in wax. It was very painful and she didn't have to keep accidentally touching me with her glove covered in wax. This was the most painful waxing experience I've ever had. If I wanted to keep getting pulled on in the same area I  may as well have paid for sugaring wax at a higher end place for better results. She decided not to finish the wax since I was in so much pain, but I told her that every place that I've been to is able to remove the hair with a single pull. She was cutting my hair while there was wax on it. Even the way she was applying the wax was very painful. It was in multiple strokes, instead of one smooth single stroke. I warned her at the beginning have a lot of hair hence why I was there, but she kept commenting on that which was starting to get annoying after awhile. I'm glad she didn't finish the wax because I would have been in so much pain in the most sensitive areas. I will not be rescheduling to come back. I have a waxing kit at home and was actually able to complete the wax myself with far less pain and a lot quicker. I'm very disappointed and I can't believe that I was able to do it myself at home better than a professional. Also there were pubic hairs in the towel she handed me at the beginning. I've been coming to this place for nearly four years and I highly recommend it. It is a clean, well-equip, well-lit shop with a very friendly and accommodating staff in a convenient location not far from the freeway with plenty of parking. I had been coming in for the wax and the results were excellent. The key is to come prepared. 1+ hours before your treatment, you need to apply 20% Benzocaine cream (Walgreens carries this as an anti-itch cream, but it's just a numbing agent); this really takes the edge off because no matter what, having hairs pulled out by their roots is going to hurt. Make sure to have something to eat so you can take a couple of Ibuprofen for the soreness after. Last, make sure to exfoliate in the shower the next 1-3 days after your wax, and Do Not get into pools, hot tubs, saunas or expose waxed areas to direct sunlight for a couple of days. You do all this, and you'll be fine and you'll love the way you look and feel. Make Sure to ask for Ashley! read more

Convenient location, easy parking and friendly service. I was in the area and saw the grand opening and $6 haircut signs. I don't have much hair so $6 is about all I feel it is worth (I always pay a total of $10 including tip). . Kevin did a great job at cutting my hair and I was out in about 8 minutes (speedy). However, I was charged $8 and when I asked why they said the sign was misprinted. They shouldn't set the sign out if it is wrong. DUH!!! No big deal, just a smaller tip than what I usually leave. It is closer than my usual barber shop, so I will repeat. Get the prices quoted up front though. read more
