Michelle uses all natural products that are mostly organic and vegan products. Specialized for sensitive skin. First she double cleansed my skin. Exfoliated and did extractions before applying the lavender and super green hydro jelly mask. She finished off with a toner and serum. All the products feel cool and hydrating, I did not feel any irritation. My skin looked and felt revitalized, hydrated and was glowing. A girlfriend of mine lives in the apartments above the retail space where Kalm is and she recommended visiting Peggy for a facial, and I'm so glad I did. It's going to become a regular self-care priority for me from now on! The facial itself was described as being 30 minutes in duration, but I think I ended up getting closer to 45 minutes of care. Peggy was so sweet and welcoming, making it very comfortable and easy to relax. I swear, I think my entire body unclenched itself for the first time in a decade, just by the facial and shoulder massage I received. The various masks and toners she used felt and smelled so nice, and she used a special blueberry mask for redness after we discussed my skincare needs. Peggy was communicative the entire session and took everything I'd reported on the check-in form into account when doing my facial. It was so lovely. Highly recommend Kalm for your facial needs. The inside of the spa itself is gorgeous and clean, with nail services in the front as well. I'd love to come back for a lymphatic drainage service and their scalp cleansing (which is only available on Tuesdays, FYI). 10/10!

Gel polish should absolutely last longer than five days. When I asked to have the chipped nails fixed, I was told they only have a three-day policy and that I would now have to pay extra for the repairs. They're closed on Sundays and Mondays, which makes that policy feel even more unreasonable. For a $67 gel manicure, I shouldn't have to pay again because it started chipping within the same week. I understand having policies, but there should also be some accountability for the quality of the service provided. Their response felt dismissive and unhelpful, and they didn't seem concerned about making things right. Unfortunately, I won't be returning.

Love that she gave out samples of some skin care and that she's educated and knowledgeable about how to properly take care of your skin, even down there, for the best results. She used hard wax. While not painless she applies pressure on the more painful parts after she pulls the wax, but that could just be me and my pain tolerance. There also wasn't any strays or broken hairs which I've had after other waxers, nice and smooth looking. Looking forward to using her again.
