I have been coming here since I am a UCI student and I don't have a car but every time I come in I have a horrible experience. However, today was the worst one. I come in and no one greets you and then they don't ask you what you are looking for and start working on you right away. The woman who was threatening my eyebrows was super aggressive with the threads that it left a mark under my eyebrows. My husband and I walked in and decided to try this location since it's closer. We requested eyebrow/upper lip threading services from two different people. After the appointment, we realized we prefer the other location by far, especially when done by Ana. I've been pleased with the experience so far and hope they continue with the same service. This was our first time coming to this place and wished that we had checked out their reviews first before coming. Big regret. I came in with my child requesting for threading but was suggested to do waxing instead. My child had his mid brows waxed. The Indian lady put wax on him between the mid brows and waxed multiple times then again put hot wax on top of the area that had already been waxed and waxed a few more times. I asked her if that process was ok because from my home kit experience that was a big NO. She reassured me that it was ok to do that on my son. After the waxing, my son was in pain. It started as a little red then it was full blown red after we left. I believe she burned my son with the hot wax because she put wax on top of an already waxed area that is still fresh / newly waxed and was too hot. I so regret coming here and my poor child had to endure such pain and looks so awful with such horrible burn. Not sure how long this takes to heal. It only has been 3 days and still looks very red and dark. I am just shocked how incompetent this shop is with such a simple wax job yet gone so horribly wrong. But I believe it would be more professional and considerate if they made tipping more discreet, such as by including a tip line on the payment screen. Tipping should feel optional, not like an obligation. Yesterday, I felt extremely uncomfortable when I didn't tip after a less-than-10-minute threading session. The employee's face soured and her attitude visibly changed towards me after that. They also have a stamp card. Tip on top of the price! Tina was very nice, had motherly vibes. Very rude service from the moment I walked in. The lady who threaded me gave me a very strange comment about the way I look at the beginning. Not only that, it was super painful and I got small cuts. She also got annoyed when she rang me up because I was not adding a tip. She forced me to add something so I added a couple dollars and then she got more annoyed. Tips are not required espec if the customer did not have good service! How desperate can you be! I wanted to give this place a try even though it has bad reviews but the reviews are right. Fair warning, the texture of your hair MATTERS when it comes to threading, a lot of negative reviews towards threading are often a reflection of a mis-match in expectation. If you have thinner brows, make sure you clarify with your threader and specify a very light clean up. For if you have thicker brows, the women here do Gods work for an easy $7. I have been going here for about 3 years now. This place is AMAZING with eyebrow threading. You can literally sit down and say nothing and they know exactly what to do. Sometimes I want my eyebrows thin: they can do it! Sometimes I want my eyebrows more full: they make sure to keep them full! The price is 10/10. Especiialllyyy for students. ($10 for regular guests, $7 for students with a student ID). The only reason I give this place a 4 stars is because I naturally have really long eyelashes, and one time they accidentally caught my eyelash in the thread, it hurt badly, but they apologized and that was that. Unfortunately every time i go now, I am scared that my eyelashes will get pulled, but it hasnt happened since and that was a few years ago. I've gone here a few times and had a good experience each time. I have pretty bushy, out of control eyebrows, but Anju always cleans them up really well and quickly too. I prefer them on the thicker side so they look natural and she does a great job. Threading doesn't really hurt except maybe closer to the edges of your eyebrows where the hair is sparser. It feels like someone pinching you around the eyebrows a bit, so not too bad on the pain scale. They recently moved locations and are now closer to Tender Greens next to where Jimmy John's was/next to that small pizza place. When you walk in, there's an iPad to check in and you choose what service you would like and what person you want to do it for you. Personally, I only go for eyebrows which are $10 ($7 if you're a student). They accept cash or card. The wait is usually only 5 minutes too! read more

This place is just absolutely awesome because of the student discount! Original price is $10 and student discount is $7.00 for eyebrows. I like to come to this establishment because it is convenient as it is located at the University Town Center which is a bridge walk away from campus. This Salon is not desolated as it is surrounded by​ eateries and different other stores. The parking lot in this plaza is pretty big, but if you are attending school or live by one of the apartments across the street. It should be an easy walk. I came here on seperate occasions at different times. I have never waited in line until Thursday when I came in at 5:15 PM. It was about 15 minutes wait. I just wanted the next available person, but so far I have been getting the artist named "Anju." Anju does an exceptional job, she cleans it so well and does it in a way that does not overwhelm or hurt me. She always restores​ my shapes. I like the fact that I am able to pay with my credit card and the student discount is a plus. I like the mini massage on my forehead​ afterward​. It is totally worth the wait. This place was definitely my go to...until simu started working here. I've tried her out twice now and both times it's been absolutely awful. I get my eyebrows done not very frequently maybe like once a month or so and I've never had an issue with scarring or scabbing until Simu has done them. Same with underarm waxing, I'm typically in and out within like 5 minutes. Ofcourse it hurts because I'm getting hair pulled out but it's usually a relatively quick process and this place has done a superb job at getting all the hairs. This last time unfortunately I made the mistake of going to Simu and what's usually a five minute process was a ten minute process, just for one arm. Definitely make sure to avoid her at all costs!!! Not only is price to get them threaded very affordable $10/$7 with student discount, they make the whole process quick and easy. Upon walking in, I signed in via iPad and shortly after I submitted my request, I was seated without ever having to wait in a line. First things first I was given some hand sanitizer and then the lady who helped me started threading away. I wouldn't say that it was painless but it wasn't too painful where my eyes started to water either. It was definitely quick as within 10 minutes, she was able to clean up all the baby hairs so that my eyebrows were still kept thick and natural - just the way I like it! At the end she asked if I wanted some aloe lotion/gel to top them off which was nice as it gave them a nice cooling sensation. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience getting my brows done over here and I wouldn't hesitate to come back at any time or day. I have been going to this place since more than 4 years. I was really impressed in the beginning but then I noticed that the new girls are actually not that good in threading. This new girl just ruined my eye brows when I categorically told her not to make them thin at all. Anju is the best over there for threading . Sijju after that is good too. But somehow you cannot share what you want or tell them they are doing a wrong job otherwise they will get super upset with you( I am talking about the new ones) .... Older staff is good . I haven't had to wait super long. I usually get called in under 10 mins. I usually just sign up for whoever is available first. I've been here a couple of times and everyone has done an amazing job! I've never left not feeling sad and unconfident about my brows. The employees are focused on getting the job done. They strike up small talk to be friendly but will not force a conversation and waste your time. The workers will tell you if you should let your hair grow out and offer you aloe vera.
