Came here with my son and he loved the food! Fast friendly service with a laid back atmosphere. Tons of food for the process you pay and well worth it. I got a bento with teriyaki chicken, vegetable, egg rolls, and mixed tempura. He got the AYCE and we were so surprised with the portions. When ordering a roll be ready to get a FULL roll!!! We're were use to getting 1/2 a roll since it was a AYCE but nope... not here... so the 1st round was tough lol other than that no complaints! Definitely come try this place out!

Wanted a quick lunch with a craving for fish and stopped by here for the first time. The decor is cute and lively, and the vibes would be great at nighttime. Was there for lunch so it was calm and quiet, and got a lunch Bento. Pretty well priced and came with a lot of food! Got the salmon teriyaki with nigiri and tempura, all my faves. Would recommend~

Super great lunch place! All the cuts of fish, except the tuna, were amazing! The service was quick and Kim was really attentive to us the whole time! Great place to go if you're looking for a fun and lively place to eat with friends!!

Have been visiting this spot a few times and came back with some friends! The sushi here is absolutely delicious, great quality and price all around, the sever Erika was very attentive, quickly got us what we needed and very knowledgeable of the menu! She's absolutely awesome and so was the guys behind the sushi counter :). I definitely recommend this place. There sushi is late night, too and has definitely saved me from a late night sushi craving.

Dined here for the first time recently while in the area. I knew they offered all-you-can-eat, but we didn't have a huge appetite at the time, so we opted to order à la carte, and everything worked out great. Prices are pretty reasonable as well. With so many items on the menu, we narrowed it down to the Maki & Sashimi combo, a couple of carpaccios, and a shrimp tempura roll. The quality and presentation of the food was top notch. They also have a large drink menu if you're looking to enjoy sake, beer, soju, and non-alcoholic beverages. The staff was kind and attentive. I love the decor, lighting, and layout of the dining area with comfy booths, some with high walls for privacy, and the bar seating looked great, too. I'd come back again and try more items, and maybe the AYCE when my appetite is big enough. This place is worth checking out.

AYCE sushi was dangerously good. Like... "we're not leaving anytime soon" good. Rolls kept coming, fish was fresh, and we were fully committed to the all-you-can-eat lifestyle. But the real MVP was the service. One server running the whole place all night and she handled it like a boss. Always checking on us, drinks never empty, orders flying out like she had clones. The vibes were cozy too. cute lights everywhere, chill atmosphere, perfect for eating way more sushi than planned. Overall, a solid sushi spot in Fullerton. Would absolutely roll back

This is our favorite place when we're in the area. Sometimes you have to be patient because the servers are working hard and doing everything all at once. That being said, we've never had a bad experience here and we always leave happy and full. There are so many options that even our picky toddler finds something that she likes. The rolls are great, the nigiri is fresh, and the appetizers are always made to order.

AYCE sushi sometimes can be a hit or a miss but ultimately this place was good. It was a bit on the pricier side of about 40 bucks per person and adding a drink on top of that made it a bit more pricey. Service was quick and nice but tuna quality felt a little rubbery and sometimes i feel wary with a bright red for a spicy tuna. Ultimately a good place with a lot of seating and good service.

Back again! All you can eat sushi! It doesn't get better than that! My husband does the all-you-can-eat premium sushi for $40. That's such a great deal!! You get 10 items each time and 3 rounds total. All in all, you could eat 30 items if you wanted. That's a ton of sushi! lol This time, I wanted to try something different. I got the salmon teriyaki last time, and this time I went for the vegetable udon. The vegetable udon was HUGE! They brought this giant bowl of soup that was scorching hot!!! Seriously, I had to wait a good 6 minutes before I could even eat it lol The fresh veggies were nice. Loved the udon noodles. It's a really big bowl of soup. Very filling! I ordered the avocado and cucumber rolls. Fresh and delicious! And tried the cheese corn. That was alright. The shrimp tempura is one of my favorites here. The shrimp are so fresh, and I love the crunchy tempura batter. Great! Service was very good. They are fast and friendly. Vert attentive.

My 2nd time there. didn't expect much different -... same strong disinfect smell when go through front doors. it serves its purpose I guess. I liked the servers but this time my card was misplaced. Whatever happened to it ok, my problem - but the attitude from the server was the worse i've ever experienced in any place, period. Confrontational, mocking, laughing out loud to my demise - worst service ever.. such low class behavior.Plenty other sushi places in Fullerton.. if all you can eat is your thing great .. go for it.. Also the fruit flies were more respondent than that server .. Health dept. should be notified. read more

Hello Sushi? More like Hell No Sushi. After 2 failed attempts at other AYCE places, my wife and I settled for Hello Sushi since we needed to go to Costco anyway. Let's just say I kind of wish we didn't even bother doing AYCE sushi today at all because tonight just kinda sucked, straight up. We busted a mission and we were met with disappointment for all our efforts. Everything we ordered was incredibly lackluster. The nigiri and "premium" sashimi we got was all-around boring honestly lacking in quality. Nothing really jumped out at us except for the appetizers which were slathered in sauce anyway, so you couldn't possibly screw those up. The sauce on the carpaccio was insipid at best. Dunking it in soy sauce definitely saved it, but what's the point when you're drowning everything in salt anyway? Some of the items we ordered never really came out unless we asked for them, but even then we never got what we ordered for our rounds. In fact, the service was actually almost unpleasant, but I suppose I'll just chalk it up to being busy. As I mentioned previously, this place was pretty much great at appetizers, but come on. People are here to eat seafood, not fried junk food which is probably frozen anyway. The buffet opening across the way could potentially slaughter this place in all honesty. If I'm already paying $40 for some VERY disappointing sushi, I could go next door and pay (presumably) half the cost for some "sushi" (probably just rolls and maybe some nigiri) and enjoy a larger variety of food at a fraction of the cost. As a matter of fact, I could've spent $40 elsewhere for a MUCH better dining experience and infinitely better quality too. Wish this place was still China Buffet, tbh (IYKYK). read more

This is our first time trying out at this location, I give it 10 out of 10!!! If you guys are looking for All you can eat, this is the place to go. We ordered a lot of different type of sushi, roll. My favorite to go is the eel roll, biggest fan! For this buffet, we could order 3 times per person, except for those premium, everything else is unlimited. 100% recommended read more

Must say 5 star for the hospitality, friendly service and the sushi!!! We came late, I mean late for AYCE so we didn't get that option! But must say the price worth! The sushi is good, fresh and it's delicious! I'm so hungry so I didn't take lots of pic but my husband loves it, the girls likes it so yes! It's a good one! We did have some left over and it was still good the next day! Will we be back for more? Sure do, good food and friendly service! Good to have that! read more

Came here with my in-laws for ayce sushi, which was about $35 pp. Mediocre sushi.... Nothing super impressive. The salmon Kama is like deep fried which made it super crunchy on the outside (not crispy, crunchy). The rolls had a LOT of imitation crab in it. Also, most of the rolls come with imitation crab instead of spicy tuna. The dishes I liked: The uni was better than expected. Only one order per person. Crispy tuna on rice. Pretty basic and hard to mess up. Edamame. It's decent but if I'm going to eat sushi, I'd prefer to indulge in high-quality Omakase. read more

I came here with my boyfriend to try the AYCE sushi. Let me tell u, it did not disappoint. The price was so good, I felt like I was robbing the place. We ended up getting a bottle of sake each which I forgot was strong but we felt pretty good after that (lol). I also liked how for AYCE you get to order three rounds. That way you don't accidentally order too much or too little. We started with the premium ones which were so friggin good. Great seasoning and the fish tasted super fresh. I recommend doing that and getting the rolls without rice first, so you don't get full right from the start. The service was really attentive and the plating was immaculate. I'll be coming back here for sure! read more

Service and food took an excessively long time to get to us (more than 30 minutes per round), ambiance was okay. The sushi rolls were unappealing, and the nigiri was not fresh at all. The only saving grace was the eel nigiri, but I was pretty disatisfied overall. read more

Very bad experience here. We waited for 25 minutes and no one came to our table. The place was only had a few customers. The girl working as the waiter was rude and unwelcoming, and the owners were present, who were rude as well. You can tell the big buffet nearby is going to put them out of business. I think this is why the owner was mad--all the customers were at the buffet. read more

Dinner AYCE Price: $38.98/person Hello Sushi is a solid spot for AYCE sushi. The ambience is lively, well-decorated, and decently clean. Here with a few friends, you're in for a nice, casual but quality sushi dinner. Honorable mentions from their menu: TUNA ALBACORE (5/5): Premium option. Topped with fresh wasabi, this one's a great fresh choice. I prefer it much more than the standard Tuna sushi. CAJUN SALMON (5/5): Very delicious, the cajun seasoning adds the perfect kick to the fresh Salmon. Great quality for AYCE. FLOWER ROLL (5/5): One of the best no rice rolls I've had at an AYCE spot. Wrapped in Soy Paper, includes a variety of fish and packed with a lot of flavor. Lighter option if you're looking to eat more sushi than rolls. UNI (4/5): Really good quality for AYCE. Super delicate and has that unique taste that you've got to try if you've never had it before. BAKED MUSSEL (5/5): Very delicious appetizer and you can never go wrong with it. Prepared to perfection and a delicacy at its finest flavors. Only downside, the Salmon Carpaccio was not my favorite. I'd skip out on it as it's a little underwhelming compared to other Carpaccio I've had. Overall, service was good and our server was friendly. I was craving sushi and wanted to try this place out but it was super disappointing! The sushi's rice was hard, not hospitable at all, not worth the AYCE price ($40 for dinner) at all. The music is some crappy EDM music repeating over and over again...I would not recommend coming here. Find some other sushi place. read more

We were in the Anaheim/Fullerton at Best Buy area looking for food to go. We spotted Hello Sushi and headed over. It was mid-week around lunch time. No crowds at all. Service was super friendly and accommodating of our to go lunches, packing all the needed utensils and napkins. We ordered combo lunches, each came with salad, miso soup and rice: teriyaki salmon, sesame chicken, and teriyaki chicken. It was a lot of food! Everything was cooked up fresh, and thus a little bit of a wait for our to go order. While overall the meal was pretty good, my sesame chicken was a little overcooked, and my sister's teriyaki salmon was cooked well but she said did not have a lot of flavor. The miso soup really hit the spot for me! There is a big sushi bar/bar area and lots of signs offering happy hour discounts. I think it must get busy for dinner. I would order from Hello Sushi again. And maybe if in the area again, I would dine. read more

It's all you can eat sushi, didn't know that from yelp. They have a regular menu as well. Super friendly upbeat corporate style service. Very low quality sushi. 1 person all you can eat plus 1 tea plus 1 mochi ice cream plus tip and tax came out to $53. Quality of fish and rice was just way too low to justify regular sushi price. Overall try a regular sushi place instead, but it's not terrible. Hot tea is a tea bag, not real loose tea you'd get at a real Japanese restaurant, just to give you an idea of what to expect. read more

The food was great, but unfortunately, the service was terrible. The wait time for anything was unbelievably long. After waiting 30 minutes for the second round--just a roll, tempura, and two pieces of eel and tuna nigiri--I decided to leave. I didn't want to wait another 30 minutes for a third round and ended up leaving still hungry. On a positive note, the busser was very sweet and kind. read more

Arriving at 8:55 p.m., a full hour before closing time at 10:00 p.m., we were promptly seated by our waiter. Immediately, we were informed that despite being an AYCE establishment, we could only order a la carte. The reason provided was puzzling: apparently, due to having only one chef on duty, ordering a la carte would ensure our meals arrived promptly without delay. This explanation seemed illogical to me since we would have ordered the same amount of food regardless of the serving method. Disheartened by this unexpected restriction and feeling unwelcome due to the rushed explanation, we made the decision to leave. It's disappointing that such a crucial detail like the change in service format was not disclosed anywhere until we sat down. Transparency about such operational changes is essential for managing customer expectations and ensuring a positive dining experience. However, I was disappointed with the freshness of the fish used in their sushi. It did not taste as fresh as expected, which affected the texture and flavor. As a sushi enthusiast, I appreciate the importance of using the freshest ingredients to elevate the taste, and this aspect fell short at Hello Sush. I would also advise against ordering the garlic edamame. The dish didn't meet my expectations and seemed lacking in flavor. The garlic was overpowering and didn't complement the natural taste of the edamame. It felt like an unnecessary addition that detracted from the overall enjoyment of the dish. Yesterday , on Wednesday April 13, 2022. I went to hello sushi, Fullerton for dinner with my girlfriend. This is her first time trying sushi. This is the first time happens to me in the same night i got bad experience from hello sushi. 1. Dirty plate was served to me 2. I order ice water for my drink. As i finished half of my drink, i found a sponge left inside my cup. It was white sponge. So i requested for new cup and new drink. All i got just an apology from server. I have been to this restaurant for years. And this is the first time i experience. In this situation usually, the manager should come to table to apologize and offer something in the house or maybe at least a discount on the check. But i did not have the manager come to the table for apology. Nor compensation...for bad experience i got from the restaurant. Other than that .. everything else is good. The restaurant needs to be more upgrade their service and cleanese of their plates and cups. This is late review due to sensitive time yesterday and did not wrote the reviews asap. read more

Me and my girlfriend were in the mood for sushi today. After looking through Google maps to find a good place to eat we came across Hello Sushi. Once we arrived, the waiter was ready to seat us down so there is no waiting time. Plus, we are talking about a saturday here so that already was excellent! Once we sat down the waiter was polite amd promptly took our orders. We got the Veggie and Avacado Rolls as well as, spring rolls. Let me tell you! THEY TASTED AMAZING! Not to mention it wasn't pricey! After eating all our food we couldn't help to finish our meal with some delicious Ice cream! As a sushi lover the food was OK. I've eaten better at smaller places, for less money. But thats besides the point. The point is I was in a party of 9 and our service was good until the food came out. But becuase they automatically charge you 18% gratuity fee it felt like they no longer needed to do a follow up to see how everything was for us. Once food was delivered we no longer saw anyone. We wanted to order more food and ask for refills but after about 45 minutes of waiting we just decided to pay and leave. We walked up to the front to ask for the check and the employees were just standing at the front talking. My first experience there was not well enough for me to return. As a former employee DO NOT EAT HERE. They fill old ginger buckets with ice, wait for the ice to melt and scoop them to serve water. Sometimes will fill a large clear container with water that gets cross contaminated when people wash their hands. Their random cups are usually mouth side down on a rusted counter top. Never fully dry. It's absolutely disgusting inside the kitchen. There's dried food everywhere and I don't think they've ever once cleaned any corner of their establishment. This "mom and pop" style aesthetic they have is super unclean for a place to serve raw fish. People buy into it cause it's convenient but truly I'm surprised more people haven't gotten sick from this place. read more

OMG ! my new favorite spot to go to ! Even though there was a lot of yelling at one point from the chefs our server Dulce was sweet and made sure we were taken care of and that we felt comfortable. She checked on us constantly and got us everything we ordered. The food was really good . Hello sushi you need to talk to your chefs ( what we saw today when 1 yelled at a customer leaving and the other yell at your staff saying the servers didn't know the meaning of last call was absurd! ) only reason we are giving your restaurant a 5 star was because of your servers who work hard to take care of us. Food was good. The menu was a tad bit confusing, but nonetheless, it was good. Especially for its price. We can't say the same for their service though... Our server came to take our check and asked if we could leave a yelp review, which we told her we would do. She didn't come back with our card or receipt until we left one, and yes she asked to check our phone. She held onto our card for 15 minutes until she seen we had left one. It was a bit odd, felt like we were being held hostage until we left a review. Very weird. My sister and I will not be back anytime soon. This place is definitely a place to TRY AT YOUR OWN RISK . I always have a wonderful experience at Hello Sushi. Earlier, I called to see if they could accommodate a large group of about 18 for 1am. Kim spoke with her coworker and they were able to accommodate. Kim took our order ahead of time so the staff could prepare for us. When our group got to Hello Sushi, we had Militon as our server. AMAZING SERVICE!!!! He was very patience with us. He was quick with everything. Very professional and friendly. He continued to check in with our group periodically. If you ever get the chance to come here, the food is delicious and Militon's service was the best I have ever experienced. He made our hangout a very special one. Thank you!!! read more
