Came here for my birthday dinner with the wife. We got the ceviche which was very look like everyone recommends here. It is definitely a must get unless you are allergic to nuts. We got the nigiri omakase and it was vey good. The Peruvian fusion in our minds worked very well. The sushi chefs and the servers also explain the way it's prepared and how to eat everything. Will definitely be back to try the rolls as well. Also if you do omakase definitely recommend bar seating for smaller parties.

Highly recommend coming to this spot for any occasion! My boyfriend and I came here on a Thursday night to celebrate our 2 year anniversary. The experience felt very special, as they seated us in front of the chefs and explained each dish to us before serving. I was happy that there was a parking structure close by to the restaurant, located in Downtown Fullerton. The restaurant is dimly lit, with the best lo fi cover songs. I used my Shazam quite often during my time here. I enjoyed the Japanese and Peruvian fusion, such a great combination of flavors that complimented each other. It was cool to see the asian chefs speak fluent Spanish with a mix of Japanese! Every dish was well-dressed, to perfection. I was excited to see each dish come out! Each plate was so pretty and some dishes had their own presentations (see attached videos below). My boyfriend and I were so pleased with the food, service and ambience here, we left with happy bellies and content hearts.

We went on a Saturday night without a reservation and were seated at the counter. Front the greeting to the chefs serving us at the counter, it was such a great experience. I loved that they gave us a description and then presented us with the food. This place is super unique because it's a Peruvian and Japanese fusion. Something I've ever had before. I loved the lighting in the place. It set the mood for a calming and inviting experience. We ordered the tiger scallop. So good! It was so refreshing with the shallots and dried sweet potato crackers Udon saltado was so simple yet well balanced with the crunch and spice of the shallots, with the creaminess of the sauce and the shrimps were savory and had a nice chew to it. The chutaro maki had a nice citrus flavor. So clean and delicious! The Parmesan maki was smoky with had a nice cheesy taste to it. So good!

Came here for an early dinner Sunday and got seated right away without a reservation. But I highly recommend people to make reservation bc as soon as 7pm hits, they were packed. We tried two special menu (105usd and a 85usd ones) and it e got plenty of food to share between the two of us and everything came quick. For app, we got tiger scallops, shrimps with mushrooms and ceviche. The ceviche is their signature and I got right, very refreshing and flavorful and fish was tender with the crushy texture from the harmonies. The scallops were very soft and melt in your mouth. The udon was good but not impressive. All the sushi and rolls were fresh and I liked that the origini came with the sauces and topping and no soy sauce needed. The hand rolls filled with the fresh fishes. Service was good and attentive, will come again!

I came here the other night and had a truly great experience. The food was absolutely amazing--every dish was flavorful and high-quality. The restaurant is small and intimate, tucked away right next to a few coffee shops and other spots in downtown Fullerton, which gives it a nice local vibe. Our server was fantastic; they were very friendly and took the time to explain each dish as it was brought to the table. For the quality of the food we received, the pricing was very reasonable and not too expensive. If you're looking for a cozy spot with great service in Fullerton, this is it!

We are a big fan of Nikkei (Peruvian/ Japanese food) and have tried other places around OC. Because of that, we were hyped and decided to bring some friends for a birthday dinner. Unfortunately we were not amazed, especially for the prices, but the food wasn't disappointing. Service was fantastic though and ambiance was really great. We ordered: Peruvian ceviche 3/5 Fried yucca 3/5 Parmesan scallops 5/5 Bluefin tuna tiradito 4/5 Pulpo olivo 4/5 Akashiro Maki sushi roll 3/5 Shogun maki 5/5 Nikkei maki 4/5 Chutoro maki 4/5

Was a great experience with $165 Omakase of Peruvian flavor, never had Sushi come with citrusy flavors. The beautiful ambiance, I love how this place is quiet to dine in. Overall great food, service and attentive. I love everything. I must be back for nigiri

This may be my new favorite restaurant. This Peruvian-Japanese fusion is just incredible. The drinks, rolls, appetizers and sashimi were just out of this world. My tastbuds are still wondering what happened tonight. Just incredible! Our server was a 10/10. His name is Zach and my suggestion is to let the server (like Zach) give you recommendations on what to eat. You won't be disappointed. Can't wait to return.

Staff was very friendly, food was delicious and different in a good way. Would have given 5 stars but the omakase portions were a little on the small side. Favorite dish of the evening was the ceviche. So fresh and full of flavor!

Japanese Peruvian is my new favorite cuisine! This place was spectacular and worth a visit. It's not the cheapest place to get sushi but every dish has excellent quality and ingredients. We sat at the sushi bar and the sushi chef was just so nice and lovely. It was a really great date night for my husband and I.

$10 ALBACORE NIKKEI (2 pieces): seared & comes with oyster sauce & crispy quinoa. It was good.

AMBIANCE (3/5): This place was way smaller than I thought it would be. Came during a weekday and it was EMPTY! It's on the darker side, maybe better for a date night than a girls night (as what I was doing). SERVICE (3/5): The service was PROMPT & POLITE, however, neither me nor my friend could hear nor understand ANYTHING our server told us the entire time. We just shook our heads yes to be polite. They come to drop off the food and also explain the dish, but we had no idea what we were eating. She checked on us all the time and our waters were never empty. Mainly just not being able to hear/understand our server was a bummer. FOOD (4/5): All the food was good, but just not AMAZING. Plus the price point for the amount of food & flavors wasn't justified for me. Maybe I just didn't love the Japanese/Peruvian fusion? $18 PARMESAN SCALLOPS (4 pieces): this was one of my favorite items of the night! One whole Hokkaido scallop with warm melty Parmesan and some crispy bits for texture. AMAZING! 10/10 $10 NIKKEI BLUEFIN TUNA (2 pieces): thin slices, yummy, but nothing special. $10 SALMON PARMESAN (2 pieces): one of my favorite sushi bites! It's seared & anything with Parmesan at this place is to die for. $10 SALMON POKE (2 pieces): thin slices of fish, has the aji Amarillo sauce on it, was OK. $10 ALBACORE NIKKEI (2 pieces): seared & comes with oyster sauce & crispy quinoa. It was good. $9 YELLOWTAIL HANDROLL: it was different from a normal handroll, fell apart easily, big slices of fish. Again, nothing special. $20 CHUTORO MAKI: (substituted the fried fish with fried salmon) very unique, I did not enjoy the flavors on this. It had WAY too much citrus. $4 KIZAMI WASABI: pickled wasabi. I LOVE THIS! Way better than the fake/paste wasabi. TRY IT! I'm sad when a Japanese restaurant doesn't offer it. $10 PERUVIAN CHOCOLATE CAKE: it's served COLD. I wish it said that on the menu. There's caramel on the bottom, then cake, then whipped cream. Didn't finish it. Small cup. Neither of us liked it. OVERALL (3/5): Sadly, I would not come back here. It's not that the food was bad, but it just wasn't my style. I didn't think anything blew me away & the price seemed too expensive for flavors that I didn't think were amazing. Maybe I don't like the fusion? But I know I like both Japanese and Peruvian food. I was expecting more because the photo presentation and reviews looked amazing, but was disappointed when I left.

This place has become one of my favorite restaurants! For my 2 year anniversary, we came here to celebrate. Being from Miami, I sorely miss eating Peruvian food. With Japanese food being one of my favorite cuisines, this fusion was a delight. Since we were celebrating, we opted for the omakase at the bar. We were lucky to snag a couple seats at the bar with no reservation but it was a Thursday night. The journey Riccardo took us on was beyond delightful. I wholeheartedly believe no one does ceviche and seafood better than Peruvians. Riccardo made the statement abundantly clear. Their ceviche took me back home to Miami. Once I tasted the authenticity, I knew I had to try their Causa. I wish I had time to talk about each dish but each course was delicious! I thoroughly enjoyed each course and was fortunate to share some sake with Riccardo and Richard. The ambiance was very nice and chic. Very appropriate for a nice date night. Overall, I would come here again for the omakase and to try other stuff I have not had a chance to.

We loved the ambiance, and the food was delicious! Loved the unique fusion of Japanese and Peruvian flavors. 10/10 would come back! There's 2 different omakase you can get, I believe $165 and $80. We did the $80 since we can't eat too much and it was perfect! We ordered some additional sides like the pulpo and scallops. The scallops were divine! The drinks were okay, they could do better (not a full bar). Parking is easy, in a garage next to it (free). I'm surprised there's not more people here, it's a gem! Can't wait to come back. The sushi chefs were also so friendly and easy to talk to.

We came in with our daughter, who is on the autism spectrum and has very specific food preferences and sensory needs. As we have done on previous visits, we brought food from McDonald's for her so that she could comfortably eat while we enjoyed our meal. Unfortunately, the waiter refused to allow our daughter to eat her food and repeatedly stated that his manager, Angel, made the rules. Despite explaining our situation and our long history as customers, there was no effort to accommodate us or show any understanding. What makes this even more disappointing is that we have been coming here for years and have spent a significant amount of money supporting this restaurant. Our family meals would often total close to $200, and we were regular customers who genuinely enjoyed dining here. It was upsetting to see that our loyalty seemed to mean nothing and that no consideration was given to our daughter's circumstances. Rather than make our daughter uncomfortable or cause a scene, we chose to leave. As parents of a child on the spectrum, we expected a little compassion and understanding. Instead, we felt unwelcome and dismissed. We are extremely disappointed by how this situation was handled and, sadly, after years of being loyal customers, we will not be coming back.

Similar to other restaurants. Gone are the days of $12-15 entrees. Realistically need to consider prices of gas too. Cuz foods arrive in trucks. Also finding and keeping good chefs/staff is hella difficult. Hopefully the owners can balance their skills amount three restaurants.
