Came here with my son and he loved the food! Fast friendly service with a laid back atmosphere. Tons of food for the process you pay and well worth it. Well staffed, talented chefs, and clean. We came tonight since we enjoyed it before and it's one of the few sushi places open late. Our rolls were okay. They fell apart, but the taste was fine. Hand rolls were a little gross, so we didn't finish them. The restaurant was also a little dirty with trash on the floor and food smeared in tables and booths. It felt like they were under staffed. Our server did their best, but it was clear they were stressed trying to help all the tables alone. I not a big fan of rolls because of how much rice they pack, and there were extra bad because bottom part comes with overlapping rice. I was excited to try the chicken yakitori, and I was the thoroughly surprised that it was fried soy sesame chicken on a stick. I was also disappointed to find out that I don't get a ramen option. Nice atmosphere, they have pretty string lights and an inviting color palette. They're open late on weekdays, which is why we chose this restaurant since other sushi places were closed. Huge shoutout to the hostess because she was doing that job and being everyone's waitress too. I ordered the rainbow roll and it was good. The only problem is that it had shrimp on it even though the description didn't mention it. I am allergic so it was an inconvenience, but I was just able to take the shrimp off and eat the roll without it. Admittedly if you look closely in the picture on the menu, there is shrimp but it is hard to see since the photo is small. I didn't mention my allergy since I'm fine with cross contamination, but I would hate for the not as detailed description be an issue in the future for someone with a more severe allergy. So I just hope they edit it. The price is pretty good, less than fifteen dollars for a meal. They also have candies in bowl that you can take when you leave, which I think is a nice touch. This is my second time coming here and I'd definitely recommend sticking mostly to the sashimi -- especially the Cajun salmon sashimi. That one smacked the most. So flavorful and honestly the main reason I'd come back. Their carpaccio is also really, really good, but just a heads up -- it's limited to one order per person and not included as unlimited. They do offer all-you-can-eat. As far as rolls go, the only ones I personally enjoyed were the rainbow roll and the Philadelphia roll. I also like getting their miso soup and baked mussels. For sashimi, I usually go with salmon, tuna, albacore, shrimp, and eel. The menu is very extensive with a lot of choices and specials, and the prices are reasonable. They're also open until 2:00 a.m., which is a plus. The staff is very nice. They weren't super attentive, but it was a Friday night and they were busy, so it's understandable. It would've been nice to get refills on our water and soda without having to ask, though. One thing I will note -- the bathroom was pretty messy and not very clean. However, the interior of the restaurant itself was clean and well kept. Overall, it's not bad at all. I'd mainly come back for that Cajun salmon sashimi. read more

I specified on the uber instructions that if I could be pleased with expecting extra wasabi(my fave) & ginger buttttt, I was given sauces that were not asked or requested for. After walking through the double doors and getting the kids measured (is everyone switching to the height stick nowadays?), we were seated in a Japanese style single row booth. Server puts down the AYCE sheet and we start happily marking away. Drinks come soon after and now we wait. So far so good...then the platter from sushi hell (or heaven depending on how hungry you are) arrives. Our table is immediately covered in shmorgasboard of nigiri, sashimi, and fried skewers. What's the matter you ask? We're a family of 4 (2 kids) and they just doubled our order size. We did the best damage we could but half is still left over. We call the waitress and explain that there's been a mistake...we are not trying out for an eating competition in February. The waitress says hold on and goes to the back akin to negotiating the car price down at a dealership...except this is for higher stakes, the dreaded 'leftover sushi' tax to the tune of $1/piece. Luckily, we meet in the middle at $13 and we can have a togo box. All in all, quality wasn't too bad, def not the best AYCE I've had and the servers were nice. Still, I was left unsatisfied (from doing mental gymnastics on how to dispose of all the leftover sushi) and wanting for more (money in wallet). Next day I open the togo box, 'Hello Sushi' I say as I am prepared to reap the awards of my successful negotiating from the night before...except the sushi has turned.
