The al pastor was good, but lacked the smokiness I usually look for in it. The asada is a classic and was flavorful. The tacos had a good amount of meat to tortilla ratio. I had all the toppings on it and they added salsa for each taco, the type of salsa varies for the meat you order. Most of the tacos are $2.50, some are $3. What stood out right away was how different they were from each other in the best way possible. Each had its own flavor profile, and both were incredibly well-balanced, fresh, and full of flavor. You can tell a lot of care goes into the seasoning and preparation. We also got the garlic dipping sauce, and while the wraps honestly didn't even need it, it took everything to another level. My wife went a second time not too long ago to see if we got a bad batch the last time, and he berated her because her punch card was from the previous year and she didn't "come support his business enough to be family." The owner will paralyze you with conversation about how much better for you his food is, his entire life story, his kids, etc. The first time we went he spent 20 minutes after we ordered recounting his life as opposed to making our food. When he finally did start it took him another 20 to make us four tacos because he kept talking so much. We really try to support local businesses but every experience we've had here has been extremely negative and we can't recommend this food truck to anyone.
