    Corned beef hash breakfast

We found this great little spot on Yelp and were delighted with what we found! The service from the moment we walked in the door was amazing and the food was delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast and will definitely be back again when we are in Vancouver.

I used to go to this place when it was Christine's. Different place, but totally same vibe. I love seeing the same wallpaper, tables and chairs. It has such a friendly and warm feeling when you're there. The server is friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and my daughter loved it too. We'll be going back.

I was craving eggs, Benedict, and remembered that I had had one here before. Also came with my husband and had the chicken fried steak, which was really good. Today it was pretty quiet in here. I sat right away and the bus boy brought me a glass of water and a menu. He said the server would be with me. It took him a minute, but he came over. I ordered a mimosa and the eggs Benedict. Crispy hashbrowns please. He brought me my mimosa and a glass of water with ice that I had asked for. I was waiting for my food and had to say excuse me to the waiter, who is on his cell phone, to please bring me another mimosa. Which he did pretty promptly. My Benedict came out in a good time. It wasn't that busy. The egg were cooked perfectly. I would've liked the muffin a little more griddled. The ham was nice and moist. I like the hollandaise sauce here. It's not the real deal, but it is a good one. I would've preferred a little more myself. The server did not come back and ask me if everything was OK. I would've said everything is good, but may I please have some more sauce. At one point, I realized I would like to try their salsa. I might try the huevos rancheros sometime. I asked the best boy and he brought it to me. I sat for quite a while when I was finished eating waiting for the server. He finally spoke to me from the bar and I told him I would like my check. He brought my check right away, but still not clearing my dishes. This is kind of a pet peeve. I was a server for many years. Always check back within three minutes to see if everything is OK. Always clear all dirty dishes. Anyway I'll come back here because it's a cute place and the food is good

Deep fried chicken tenders, light and fluffy waffle with strawberries/blueberries. Side of butter, syrup, and yummy chicken dip.

The food is authentic, hot and tasty! The family of young men are friendly, smart, and efficient. Well organized and busy...I now know why we've had to wait. Loved the community atmosphere.

We tried stopping in a couple months ago but it was so busy that we chose to just come back another time and it surprisingly not as "packed" for a Saturday morning. I mean, it was busy but we were able to be seated at the bar top right away. Staff was nice and checked on us once throughout our meal. They were all young adults. Service was really slow. We waited so long for our food that my fitness watch alerted me I was sitting too long and needed to stand up. We got the chicken and waffles and biscuits and gravy. Portions were decent for the price. Everything was tasty but definitely not worth the super long wait for. My husband does want to come back again to try their skillets, but I'm in no rush to visit again any time soon.

Found this cute little place through a Facebook group. Great food great service warm and inviting. We'll definitely be back I want to try the Juevos Rancheros and the "breakfast nachos".

The pancakes, service, and price are amazing. I love the cozy home like feeling. Everytime I am in the area I have to eat here.

Super cute and cozy spot !

Food was delicious ! Potatoes were crispy and waffle was soft and fluffy. Coffee was great, service even better ! Super cute inside!

Cute little converted house to restaurant. Nice friendly staff keeping your coffee full. Little disappointing. I ordered one of the standard bfast plates w choice of toast or pancake, 2 eggs, sausage or bacon, hash browns or home potatoes. I had bacon, scrambled, home potatoes and brown bread toast. They must buy small eggs and the toast was just a cheap brown bread not a multigrain. Denny's does better. But the bacon wasn't fresh off the grill. It was bacon cooked earlier and stacked on a plate in the kitchen then tossed on the food plate. Probably won't come again.

There were just a few people scattered throughout the dining room as I stood at the counter waiting to be seated, but the lad behind the counter was busy bussing tables and cleaning in the back. I stood there for close to five minutes. He was equally as slow bringing me my coffee ($4) and taking my order (Chicken Fried Steak and Eggs ($20), but then things improved a bit. The chicken fried steak was decent, but instead of being ¨smothered¨ with country gravy, there was only enough to barely cover the top. I was going to ask for more, but I did not want to wait forever and let my breakfast get cold. It is a cute little place, but the service could have been better, the food was average, and the prices were a tad steep. CombatCritic Gives Victoria's Cafe 3 Bombs Out Of 10 ... We loved Amaro's Table, another restaurant in the company, but Cecilia had a few glitches. First of all...we loved Hanah. She was very friendly and engaging. We don't know if it was her or the kitchen, but our food took too long. When it arrived it was beautiful. Two people had the Benedict and I had the Dutch Baby with a side of sausage. Both were excellent. But, I still don't understand why the accompanying maple syrup is served cold, and not heated?? Regarding the benedicts, the eggs were borderline hard. One person felt the hollandaise was too salty. The coffee delivery was very slow to one of the patrons. The restrooms and the general appearance of the restaurant was also perfect. We were surprised by a complimentary plate of donuts since it was our first visit to Cecilia. These were hot and very fresh. I noticed the tables around us remained dirty and were not bussed. Even if you don't plan to use the tables again, they should be cleaned and set-up quickly. It was just ok, and not a restaurant I will rush back to.

I honestly adore the interior just covered in plants and greenery; such an inviting little space. There was a line when we entered but it moved pretty quickly which was nice. The menu was so so so tempting and honestly, I wanted a breakfast burrito but knew there was no way I'd be able to finish it before we hiked so I went with a breakfast sandwich instead. I love the plethora of options they have for vegans/vegetarians and omnivores alike. I got my sandwich with egg, vegan sausage, cilantro aioli, and avocado - I was initially worried the aioli wouldn't be strong enough or flavorful enough but it was perfect. A very good breakfast sandwich, filling too! You can also get it on an english muffin or on ciabatta which is a nice swap depending on your mood. My friends tried the breakfast burritos, loved them but agreed portions were very generous. We also grabbed a couple scones -- the lemon poppyseed and the marionberry. They were the size of my head but I definitely get the hype around the marionberry scones; would inhale one daily if I could :P Coffee was good and sadly they were out of matcha the day we went so I guuuess we just have to go back to get it! We've been wanting to try this place for awhile now, but it always looks so busy on the weekends,…read moreso we waited until we had a day off during the week. We arrived around 11:30 on a Wednesday. It was still pretty busy, and only two booths were open. We were first on the wait list. We only waited about 5 minutes for the host to clear the tables and set them. Staff was friendly and welcoming. You can tell it's a popular place by how busy it was on a weekday. This restaurant occupies an older building in downtown Vancouver. There is street parking available. It's a small establishment, but they do a great job of utilizing every inch. They even have a nice waiting area by the door with two long wooden benches. There are both table and chair seating, as well as a few booths. Our server was friendly, helpful and attentive. We ordered the croissant club sandwich with fries and the triple play with half a reuben sandwich, Celtic Caesar salad and a cup of Irish stew. My hubby also asked for a side of bacon. The food came out rather quickly considering how busy they were. Everything we ordered we devoured. The ingredients were fresh and delicious. I added avocado to my club sandwich and it was so yummy! Prices are more than reasonable compared to other establishments. You get a generous portion as well. Overall we were happy with the service, food and prices. We'll definitely return to try their breakfast options. Everything looked so appealing as it came out of the kitchen. Would highly recommend!
