Croissant French Toast not overly sweet, crispy and moist at the same time

This little breakfast restaurant was absolutely adorable. It's tucked away but totally worth it. We were immediately greeted with amazing customer service as soon as we walked it. We were assisted in a timely manner and everyone was friendly. I watched them treat their regulars with quick service, kindness, and respect. The servers were opening doors for their customers too. Food came out in a timely manner and the taste of our dishes were delicious, hot and full of flavor. Drinks, super delightful and refreshing. Our server, Lorena, checked on us periodically to make sure we were happy and satisfied. Outdoor seating is available as well. Tables were cleaned immediately after people left. Very clean. Highly recommend

Solid four stars for this Mill Plain eatery. The Mexican hot chocolate and the chilaquiles were standouts here. Service was friendly, and was reasonably efficient given the packed-to-capacity situation we encountered. Ambience was pleasant.

Pretty good spot for a quick breakfast. The only thing be careful if you are with kids and ordering hot cocoa. It was way too hot for a child. But I definitely recommend their French toasts so delicious. Our server was also super helpful and nice.

I'm so happy there is another breakfast place to go to near my neighborhood. Now we don't have to drive to downtown Vancouver for breakfast. This was my first time at Javi's. I ordered the chilaquiles with tinga chicken. It was good! It was sunny so I enjoyed my breakfast on their small patio. The house coffee and music selection was good too. I will be back!

Excellent food, excellent service! So many food options. And the owner, Javi, is very hands-on and present. This is one of my TOP 5 breakfast/brunch spots in Portland/Vancouver.

Veggie omelet with ham and red potatoes. I ate half of it before remembering to take picture.

I went looking for a bagel place and found heaven instead! I ordered a big veggie omelet with ham, no cheese, red potatoes. For takeout. It was so delicious! Next time I'm in town I'll make sure to set aside more time so I can actually go in and eat.

Blueberry French toast and chicken fried steak.

Wow, the menu looked good, but the taste was amazing! To drink we had a Mexican hot chocolate and iced vanilla coffee.... both were yummy. To eat had the chicken fried steak and blueberry French toast. Omg, the French toast was heavenly with a fresh blueberry compote topping. The maple syrup was good too and ended up being great for the biscuit that came with the steak. The steak gravy wasn't too heavy and it came with crispy, tasty hash browns. Nice service, clean, liked that they had good water, would come back for sure.

Turkey, bacon and cheese (jack) on sourdough. Tator tots and a pickle spear.

First time at Javi's. I ordered a turkey and bacon sourdough sandwich to go, it came with tator tots and a pickle spear. Major points for the pickle spear, I love when meals are served with one. It would be nice to be able to order a sandwich without the sides. This lunch was $18.00. The only thing wrong with it was one of my slices of bacon was not cooked long enough and very fatty. I removed it. And I got the heel for one of my slices of bread. So it was much smaller than the other and didn't hold the inner parts of the sandwich together very well. I'd still give this place four stars. Will review again. I will visit Javi's again, I'd like to try more items on the menu.

Service was great and food was really good. My only suggestion was to check the gravy (too much flour flavor) We eat at Sandy Blvd location regularly. But we live in salmon creek so the millplain location is better for us. YAY Javi's we'll be back.

Phenomenal flavors. The churro waffles are perfect. Very cute inside and the wait staff was very sweet. Highly recommend checking them out if you are in Vancouver

This is a brand new restaurant (it's been open 3 days) so we decided to give it a try. We are very glad we did! We were greeted by a friendly hostess. I ordered the Chilaquiles Verde and my husband ordered the Mt. Hood Benedict. Both were delicious! My chilaquiles were covered in delicious green sauce with a nice amount of heat. I ordered the eggs poached and extra hot sauce. I didn't really need the hot sauce because the chilaquiles were perfectly seasoned and well spiced. My husband reported that his Benedict had a perfect balance of veggies to egg and muffin and his potatoes were well cooked and had creamy centers. He also thought the hollandaise was tasty. About half way through our visit the chef came over and checked in. He told us everything is house made and appreciated our compliments. At the end of our meal our attentive server came over and said they were sending out a complimentary churro waffle. It was topped with cinnamon sugar and a drizzle of chocolate sauce. The waffle itself was thick and creamy on the inside. Delicious! We decided we'd have to order them when we come again. This place isn't fancy but it has beautiful new blue paint and a fresh look. We enjoyed our breakfast and will absolutely come again!

Went to Javi's for Sunday breakfast. The place was hopping and so were the waitstaff. We were promptly greeted and shown to a table. Excellent service throughout. The food came out quickly and was very warm. Great flavors on all the items, including my bacon which I prefer well done. Saw other items going out that looked good, so we will definitely return. Felt the price was reasonable for the quality of food and service.

I honestly adore the interior just covered in plants and greenery; such an inviting little space. There was a line when we entered but it moved pretty quickly which was nice. The menu was so so so tempting and honestly, I wanted a breakfast burrito but knew there was no way I'd be able to finish it before we hiked so I went with a breakfast sandwich instead. I love the plethora of options they have for vegans/vegetarians and omnivores alike. I got my sandwich with egg, vegan sausage, cilantro aioli, and avocado - I was initially worried the aioli wouldn't be strong enough or flavorful enough but it was perfect. A very good breakfast sandwich, filling too! You can also get it on an english muffin or on ciabatta which is a nice swap depending on your mood. My friends tried the breakfast burritos, loved them but agreed portions were very generous. We also grabbed a couple scones -- the lemon poppyseed and the marionberry. They were the size of my head but I definitely get the hype around the marionberry scones; would inhale one daily if I could :P Coffee was good and sadly they were out of matcha the day we went so I guuuess we just have to go back to get it! There is plenty of parking in the giant lot and the honestly the highest props for having a drive thru! Swing by and try the goods~

It completely feels like a PNW spot. I went twice in 2 days with a friend of mine and got the exact same thing both times, the sausage breakfast burrito. It was that good. By itself, stuffed with eggs, peppers, crema, sausage, potatos, and cheese, it was a hearty and tasty breakfast. With the addition of the salsas, it was a revelation. I got both the red and green and mixed them. Absolutely delicious. My first time there I also got a marionberry scone which was huge and really tasty. Staff were very nice and the whole vibe of the place just seemed right. I definitely wish I had a place like this back in Nevada.

I would like to comment on the visibility of this location. Since it's tucked away and a spa is in the front I didn't see it and had to turn around. Consider additional flags to add to where you're at because GPS tells us it's right there and it's not RIGHT there. I decided on fish tacos and I couldn't taste the fish. It felt like I was eating cole slaw in a soggy crispy taco shell. Consider deleting this item or improving how you make fish tacos. Too much greens and mayo where you can't taste the fish. After years of coming here, the last few months have been a massive disappointment. Tonight, they messed up our outdoor reservation for the third time, even though this time I made sure to reiterate "outside" which completely ruined a family night (my kids and grandkids were in tow) out to see a local band. The staff's attitude was hostile and dismissive. One staff members, even told me to talk to someone else. And turned her back on me and walked away. When I called about attending the event, they told me nothing about needing a reservation. Half on the tables were vacant. We agreed to sit in the bar. Service: we waited 20 minutes before anyone took our order. We ordered two $80 well drinks. Bill came at $10 per drink plus a "service charge" plus tax of course. We tracked down the server to ask about the charges. Was told we had not ordered our drinks in time to get the "happy hour" prices. After we ordered, we waited 30 minutes to get our drinks....no napkins, no straws, just a glass with our drink. Ambiance: I had been here before (when I also got terrible service and had to question over charges on my tab) but that was a long time ago so I wasn't holding that against them.
