Typically, they only have one customer/group of customers inside and there is a little waiting area outside. My husband's parents and sister-in-law all got their rings from Centennial Jewelers. When husband got my engagement ring from Centennial as well, it felt extra special. My husband's experience went smoothly while he was designing my custom ring through pickup. He was able To work with Alex to figure out what style, stone, and shape was right for us. I was able to get my engagement ring re-sized for free shortly after the proposal since I thought my finger was larger than it was. I'm pretty sure there is free re-sizing for life. The ring itself is absolutely gorgeous and fairly priced-especially for a custom piece. We were so impressed that we went back to create a matching custom wedding band for my husband. The communication was great. Alex walked us through the process and ensured that he'd call us with updated pricing before he began anything. My husband's ring ended up being absolutely gorgeous and a very reasonable price. I wanted…read moreto upgrade my center stone, but because my ring has a unique two-sided tension mount, multiple other jewelers told me it was impossible without destroying the ring. Ben was the only one who found a way. He removed the original tension setting entirely to create a blank canvas, then molded and recreated a brand-new tension setting from scratch specifically designed for my new stone. He managed to do this while keeping the rest of my original ring exactly the same. The result is so seamless that it doesn't look like a modification; it looks like the ring was originally designed this way from day one. Because my ring is over 20 years old with numerous side diamonds, Ben performed a full inspection and caught several issues I hadn't noticed. He secured loose stones and corrected a faulty previous repair, fine-tuning the piece until it was objectively a brand-new ring. Ben was also a great partner in sourcing my diamond. I was very particular about the specific grading specs I wanted, which made it challenging to stay within my budget. He navigated the search and found the perfect stone. Johantgen Jewelers worst work ethics and customer service!…read more Brought in my Citizen Capri watch for repair to Johantgen Jewelers in Crystal, MN. It had stopped working and I had replaced the battery. In the process the hands had fallen off. My fault. I dropped the watch off with the instructions to reattach the hands. A few days later when the watch was returned to me: 1. One of the hands was completely missing. 2. I was told the watch was no longer working. 3. The dial number indicators at 1:00 and 3:00 were missing altogether! 4. The stopwatch feature now zeroed to the 3:00 position rather than the 12:00 position. 5. The second hand no longer ticked at the 7:00 through 12:00 second indicator marks on the dial. I returned the watch to Johantgen Jewelers and was told it would cost another $200 in addition to the $35 I had already spent for the original repair! The owner of Johantgen Jewelers is also the watch repair guy. He proceeded to try and lay all of the blame on me for the list of issues that he himself had caused. He became very upset and defensive when I stood my ground, and started yelling at me that it wasn't his responsibility to correct the issues that arose while the watch was in his care. He obviously knows very little about watches, nor how to repair them. He then hung up on me in a rage. I will be contacting the BBB in an effort to protect others from this type of manipulation.

Two of them are brand new, and within less than a month of purchase, a diamond had already fallen out. The engagement ring my fiancé bought me has been an ongoing nightmare. We received it back once with a mismatched diamond. After finally getting that corrected Now, the same diamond that was supposedly repaired has fallen out again -- in less than a month. I also recently got my V-shaped ring back from repair, and within just a few days of picking it up, another diamond fell out of that one too. I just want to be able to wear my rings and enjoy them and not feel like I have to constantly check my hand to make sure something didn't break or go wrong. I work at a desk all day. What is going on with the quality of these rings? What's the point of owning them when they spend more time being repaired than being worn? It's beyond disappointing -- it's frustrating and exhausting. On our last visit, we were told we're basically "celebrities" because we're known for our reviews and complaints. That alone should say something. At this point, only the regional manager will deal with us. While he has been polite and I appreciate his attitude, it doesn't fix the underlying issue -- the quality and service are simply not acceptable. A very pleasant experience vs. going to one of the "always fifty percent off" chains (which always makes me grouchy) or vs. either of the the non-chain places we used to go to that were apparently purchased by Satan (based on the way their customer service declined--in one case, one was passed down to the children of the original owner and they seemed . . . less focused on service and more focused on vacuuming out their customers' wallets). It's clear Innsbruck is interested in their customers and is interested in giving value for the dollar. Plus, while we were there a steady stream of local people were coming and going, and they looked happy.
