At the conclusion of the appointment, I was instructed that she needed to return on Saturday to be seen in person by a doctor. I was never informed that urgent care was an option. When I called today to obtain the appointment time, I was told that no appointment had been made, the doctor was completely booked, and walk-ins were unavailable. Because of this, I asked what I should do and asked directly whether I should take her to urgent care. Only then was I told that urgent care was acceptable. My daughter's vision remains blurry, and this delay in care is deeply concerning. I received no follow-up communication, no update, and no notice that the appointment I was told to expect would not be honored. Had I not called today, would have continued waiting for an appointment that did not exist. The breakdown in communication and the lack of coordination are unacceptable, especially when dealing with a child's vision. If urgent care was appropriate, I should have been informed days ago. Due to this experience, I will be moving my family's care elsewhere and will not be recommending this location.

The exam itself was very thorough (most intensive I have ever received.) Dr. Nelson was very pleasant, and I didn't feel rushed when seeing him. The staff there was also very friendly. When it came time to choose a pair of glasses, the staff was helpful, but not pushy. I didn't feel like I was being 'talked into' anything. I was told the glasses may take 10 to 15 business days to receive, but to my surprise, I received a phone call 5 days later, saying they were ready! When I picked them up, they were just perfect! They even took the time to make sure they 'felt good' on my face, and adjusted them accordingly. I have been to several different optometrist's offices over the years, and this was by far my best experience! I'm glad I found them, and look forward to working with them in the future!

The two team members were very helpful and even stayed way past normal business hours. They were upfront about my investment, explained all options, and exhibited guest mentality from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. The next morning I called back to change my order and Cheryl took care of it with no problem. Cheryl just called me to inform me that my glasses came in early and are ready for pick up. It's nice to see a customer centric business...very rare in health care.

I expressed that I was trying my best not to get frustrated and understand how this happened and her response was "oh you're not gonna get frustrated with me..." (I went deaf after that to avoid confrontation). I was instantly agitated and decided to step away because I wasn't rude, and I wasn't loud... I was simply and calmly stating that I'm so confused and frustrated that the warranty I paid for to have my sons glasses repaired, in the event that he broke them, is being denied on the premise the glasses don't match what's in the system. I'm merely seeking alternatives or trying to understand how this happened and this person is taking my (calm) opposition as a challenge to her personally. The level of professionalism displayed was so ugly. I eventually figured out the mix up and while it was on my end, her unprofessional attitude, lack of understanding and customer service oriented approach made me decide to go to find another place for my family to go to altogether. No one is perfect and mistakes happen, but don't get nasty with people who are simply trying to understand how a mix up happened. Even if she couldn't take them, she didn't mention promotions, specials, alternative out of pocket costs, nothing... she was just an a**hole so unexpectedly and unprovoked. The staff generally seem only semi-competent, and are bewildered by the software they have to use to do anything. They have no sense of prioritizing tasks. I had an appointment with the substitute optometrist who schlepped in late from her lunch hour without explanation or apology, like this was a totally cool thing to do.
