The visit itself was great because Steve is great. The booking process, however, is a different little adventure. Getting an appointment here can feel like trying to secure concert tickets, win a radio contest, and decode a government form all before lunch. At checkout, their computer system was down, and the woman at the desk said she would call me once everything was back up. It has been almost a week, and apparently that call is still wandering the desert looking for cell service. So yes, Steve is absolutely worth seeing, and I would recommend him without hesitation. Just bring patience, emotional hydration, and possibly a backup calendar, because the medical care is wonderful, but the scheduling and follow through could use a meaningful intervention.

Instead, I left with no real answers, no treatment plan, and no confidence that they were interested in helping me. A dermatologist's office should be a place where patients feel heard and supported, especially when they're already self-conscious or anxious about their condition. I was born in 1965 and so those of you in my generation know that we basked in the sun like raisins, never wore sunscreen, and SMOKED! A couple of days after treatment, I would see brown "flakes" sloughing off of my face where the brown spots/patches were. The game changer for me was that Tixel was able to flatten sebaceous glands on my face!!! Only my dermatologist can do this and she has to use a laser that literally burns them on my face, leaving my red almost raw skin to heal from the burning. Tixel does not do that at all!!! My partner also had problems with his IV where it wasn't flowing in but getting to his muscle instead. Luckily the IV veteran we were with noticed how strange he wasn't flowing. For me, going through both bags took about an 45 minutes to go through. Dr Khorsandi had performed a surgery on our daughter but then he abandoned her after only one week which lead to her nose collapsing completely! He removed too much cartilage causing this issue, she had to pursue an ENT specialist in LA who had to rebuild her nose entirely. The ENT doctor had to remove cartilage from her rib which she said was a long and painful process! The cost was an astronomical $126,000 In addition to what we had already paid Khorsandi but all of this could have been avoided if Khorsandi would have done his job correctly to begin with! When he found out our daughter was a bit of a local celebrity he went and looked her up online while she was under anesthesia, how creepy is that!! Not making any of this up he told her he looked her up on the next day. Khorsandi's lack of medical care as a professional all due to his ego! He showed total disregard for his patient due to negative feelings towards me. This proved how little he cared about his patient, medical oath or proper medical guidelines! I've seen and read the fake reviews his office staff, girlfriends or other friends write for him which creates the bulk of his business. He somehow gets my reviews taken down as quickly as I write them if he is able. He once had his attorney send me a certified letter, a cease and desist demanding I remove a review I once wrote.
