We've always had a great experience at this family dentist. The staff are very friendly and pleasant, and the doctors and hygienists are skillful and professional. They make visits comfortable and easy for our family. The only thing I'm not sure how I feel about is that at times there's a baby crying or even a dog barking, which can be a bit distracting. Thankfully they were open this Saturday. Pain engulfs my daughter. She called and shared her unease with me. After searching the area for a dentist close to my home we had an appointment within about ten minutes. As I sit here the glare from outside draws my attention, the sunshine beams through as they look at at her teeth. The back of the office could not be more inviting. Ouch oh that hurts, but the gentleness of the staff here are highly respectful and responsive to pain. The latest and greatest technology has been considered when it comes to patient care. They will take a 3D image of your mouth plus X-rays. It's always good to be double check and check again. The dental team spare no expense when it comes to small details in decorating, patient care, or knowledge about your teeth. The enthusiasm of the team is contagious too. It's so inspirational inside this office. You hear laughs and giggles among the staff. They make the patient experience feel comfortable. Who likes going to the dentist? It's my daughter that sits in the chair, as the sun shines in on her; it's rays bring hope that the pain goes as she awaits the dentist. All uncomfortable and unhappy she is because of the pain. They have wasted no time to ensure she is comfortable. The testing was non evasive. The technicians confidence only put Cheyenne more at ease. Their bed side table manner is greatly appreciated. Now they were not able to get her out of pain aside from a few prescriptions and some some special medications for her gum issues. Some of the issues Cheyenne has encountered are because of dietary issues. While she needs to brush and floss more. Besides these preexisting conditions we were given a referral for a further evaluation for her tooth. They do not perform in house extractions or root canals they refer out. Now if your seeking the basic cleanings this is an excellent place to visit. They offer a great deal for around 200 that includes X-rays and a few cleaning. Smile and get up in that chair. Don't worry your in great hands with exceptional knowledge of dentistry. In these trying times don't neglect your teeth. Come in for a cleaning and get a 3 D glance of your mouth. THEY OVERCHARGE YOU BY OVER 1,000 DOLLARS I'm a new patient who went there to get a cavity filled and for a general checkup. For reference I am 22 years old. My Insurance was able to cover most of it. However, during my checkup the hygienist told me that my gums were in terrible condition and I had something called periodontal disease because my gums were apparently red, inflamed, infected, and I had dental bone loss. The staff started telling me how dangerous the condition was. I was now at risk for high blood pressure, cholesterol and a bunch of other conditions. Of course I started to freak the fuck out. This older Asian lady who was the treatment plan manager then discusses, how they could fix it by doing a deep clean that would ONLY cost me over $1,000.... she continued to pressure me into getting a bunch of other work done including fixing my crooked tooth. I found this hard because I have good hygiene, I go to the dentist regularly, and my gums don't bleed when I floss. I didn't get anything done THANK GOD because the vibe was extremely weird. I layed got a second opinion and was told my gums were slightly inflamed but overall looked really good... yeah fuck this place read more

don't get me wrong the dentist both of them are fantastic ladies. The shadiness of their Bill pain is disgusting and I wish I could talk to the doctor to tell him. I can't. I'm writing it here and I'm hoping she sees this. Going to them for years with Blue Cross Blue Shield Federal. They told me that they were no longer with them, but I love them so much. I was willing to pay upfront and use my insurance as not in the service so I assumed I would get a check from Blue Cross Blue Shield well they did not do it correctly evidently and did not actually leave Blue Cross Blue Shield. Blue Cross Blue Shield could not pay me and the dentist office decided they were not going to give me money. It took years to finally get a partial payment back. I did not even receive as much as I would've got from Blue Cross Blue Shield so make sure that they're in your network because if they're out of network, they will screw you over. Sorry my favorite dentist. I will miss you, but I can't afford you and the lies that I get from your payment center. read more

As a new patient, I made an appointment t to see a dentist approx. three weeks ago. I submitted all the information including the insurance information in person. Two days prior to my appointment, I received a phone call stating that they don't accept my insurance and asked if I want to continue proceed with seeing the doctor. Would go see the doctor when you know they don't accept insurance, after paying for your insurance premium? Why couldn't they notified me earlier? Why it took them almost three weeks to find out? Who knows how long I have to wait until I find a doctor and when they can take me. If they can't take care of administrative tasks, I am not sure how they can take care of your dentistry needs. read more

Yet they made me feel insecure about my smile saying they would want to change my 6 front top teeth to make it "look better". Dr. Kathleen Paz Uy and Anna the Dental Hygienist from Smile Horizons Dentristy are the best! I live all the way up the top of Northwest Las Vegas, and I gladly drive all the way to super far Henderson to get top-notch service and dental assistance from their lovely team. The facility is sanitized, clean, modern and spiffy. I looked, compared and researched the endless dental offices and clinics around town, and I am so glad I took the time to do so, or else I wouldn't have found Smile Horizons Dentistry! Their scheduling is so easy, and they are active on their social media platforms, which says a lot about their company. Not only that, but it is just a pleasant environment to be in - especially for someone who gets anxious at medical appointments (me specifically with dentists). I guess I should talk about the actual dentist part, lol. Routine cleanings exceed any and all expectations. You are asked to sanitize your mouth first using their highly concentrated stuff and nice wash stations - obviously. Imaging of your teeth are taken in-office, but they diffuse any fear by their bubbly demeanor and personalities. Then, you are taken into your personal area with state-of-the-art everything. They put Vaseline on your lips to prevent any irritation (not required but a nice cherry on the top) and proceed with the dental treatments. As others have mentioned, their aromatherapy lavender-infused warm towels are cute to end the appointment with. When it comes to future treatments and financing, they will never pressure you to undergo frivolous treatments - which is sadly a rare thing when it comes to healthcare providers in Las Vegas. I trust Dr. Uy and Anna with any and all dental procedures, and I think you should too! I highly recommend them!!! My daughter went in with a jagged, broken front tooth. The Dentist refused to help her at all, unless she agreed to full extraction and dentures for her front teeth. This is a disgusting cash grab implemented when a patient is desperate. My daughter left the office crying. The dentist offered no care for the broken tooth. It's a good thing I wasn't with her. Anyone who cares about medical decency and morality needs to RUN from this disgraceful office. It looks like their good reviews are primarily fake or compensated btw.
