Who hasn't used Henkel Dial soap? We grew up using the iconic gold bar soap! Honestly, I didn't realize it is antibacterial until today. I also did not know Dial was the "first ever soap in space" until reading about Dial soap on their website. The Dial bar soap, introduced in the 1940s has morphed into a variety of Dial products including men's shower gel, ladies shower gel, children's shower gel, and liquid hand soaps. The Dial body washes range in varieties from hydrating, sensitive skin, exfoliation, advanced clean and more. It's niice to see Dial offers a foaming hand soap these days, too! Who doesn't love a nice foam soap? Other Henkel products I have used and enjoy/enjoyed are Breck hair care products, Renuzit air freshener and Snuggle fabric softener. I like the Renuzit gel air fresheners and they come in over twelve fragrances. We don't use liquie fabric softeners any more; however, I have used and like the Snuggle liquid fabric softener. Snuggle also offers dryer sheets and scent boosters. Soft Scrub is another Henkel product I have used for decades! Thanks, Henkel! read more

Today I had the honor to work for a family of Henkel Brands. The products I never knew that I currently use. Persil, got2b, dial, and loctite. Henkel knows how to treat there employees and throw a big family day for them. The company gave out so many products and had a big raffle as they gave out Red Sox tickets, tickets to the Fifa World Cup Soccer event. Also they had the green truck pizza from New Haven pizza, blue chip creamery and a mobile bar handling out free wine coolers and beer. Everything today was free for their employees and family's. They also have another location in Stamford that I hope to work on July 30th. Will be the same as today was in Rocky Hill. read more

I called the Henkel Corporation to complain about their Loctite Super Glue that I just opened this morning. The entire container was hard as a rock and it would not dispense. I called the company and they never called me back. I called again two days later and Kara, in customer service, would not help me. She said it was an older bottle. Well, I just bought it from Amazon. Thank goodness Amazon made good on their promise. Henkel sure does not. I will look for a different superglue company as this one does not back up its products. So why is Henkel trying to deceive people? The Persil which was originally a 240 fluid oz. Bottle is now a 202 fluid oz. Bottle. They both say they amount to 120 loads of laundry. How is that possible when it is less product? The caps on both are the same size. Do they think we're stupid! read more

I have known through the years that if I am exposed to poison oak, poison ivy, or poison sumac I need to immediately take a hot sudsy shower with dial. In the old days I swore by Dial bar soap. Prior to having carpal tunnel surgery ten years ago the surgeon gave instructions that prior to surgery you should apply Dial Foaming Pump soap, leave it on for five minutes, and then shower it off. That surgery went perfectly, healed well and left zero scarring. Fast forward to two weeks ago. Following heart surgery the discharge instructions said one week after surgery to gently cleanse the incision with Dial antibacterial soap once a day until the incision is healed. Great, I can do that! NO! I sent my husband to the store to buy my favorite Dial Antibacterial Foaming Pump soap. He returned empty handed. All the Pump bottles now clearly say "with Aloe". I am extremely allergic to aloe on contact. I did my homework and found pictures of Dial at Walmart that neither said Aloe on the front label or listed it in the ingredients on the back of the pump. My husband gladly accommodated me and went to Walmart for my needed soap. He and a pharmacy employee went through all the products they carry and EVERYTHING now has Aloe. Once again he returned without soap for my shower. It turns out that in order to buy Dial Antibacterial soap without aloe you must go to Dollar General and buy what I assume is older stock. I would love to give Dial five stars but I will withhold the fifth star until Dial realizes there are people that don't want Aloe in their purchase. I am sure I am not the only person in the world that can't tolerate Aloe. read more

Use to like and respect this company until now. Not sure why a large corporation would be so hard to deal with regarding consumer issues but this company goes out of their way to make simple things difficult. There are 7 complaints on the Better business web site and I will add mine there as well soon. Henkel has a few divisions, Adhesive Technologies, Beauty Care and Laundry & Home Care. My issue is with a product called "Epoxy Heavy Duty", IDH# 1365736 which I purchased at Home Depot about a year or so ago. I recently looked for a expiration date so that I would be sure to use the product in time but found nothing other than a lot of letters and numbers that I could not decipher. I ended up calling the Adhesive department on June 26, 2018 and left my number since they had me on hold for 10 minutes and kept offering the call back so I would not have to wait. When Andrew from Henkel called me back I gave him all the information on the product and he said that one of the two bottles was made in 2013 and the other bottle was made in 2014 and that there is a 2 year expiration date. Unfortunately, the packaging and included bottles that I purchased had no information what so ever regarding an expiration date or date of manufacturer. I told him that the company should have this information on the packaging so that the consumer knows how long they have to use it. He said that the new packaging does have this information on it but this is something that was implemented some time later which is why my packaging doesn't show this info. I asked for a replacement or refund since this was not my fault but negligence on the part of Henkel. He said I could return it to the store or send them a copy of the receipt. I told him that Home Depot no longer carry's this product and I doubt that I kept my receipt but I would look. He said without the receipt there was nothing he could do, I.e. I am SOL... As a side note I have dealt with many other large corporations and normally they are very friendly and more than willing to correct the situation by either replacing the product or issuing a refund when warranted, but unfortunately this has not been my experience thus far with this company. I have asked Andrew to have a supervisor call me back but so far I have yet to hear from one, when I called back on June 29, 2018 (2nd call) to find out why, I am told the same thing I was already told the first time, and that a supervisor is not available. Talk about feeling like your running into a stonewall. I have rarely experienced such an obvious roadblock to speaking to a supervisor and told Andrew that I would be complaining to the corporate headquarters and would be sure to report to them how he has handled this matter and hung up. I called one more time on June 29, 2018 to verify the expiration date was 2 years and Andrew said it was. I told him I was in the process of leaving a Yelp review and BBB complaint. I asked him again why he is refusing to get me a supervisor and he again went into all the reasons why speaking to a supervisor is a waste of time i.e. the product is old, Home Depot does not sell it anymore and on and on. I literally had to cut him off two times to ask him why he is refusing to let me speak to a supervisor and he finally said he was not (even though he was) so I say, great, if you are not, than let me speak to one. He says, she is not here. I say so you are all alone and he says yes. I feel we are finally getting somewhere, so I ask him, when do you think she will be in so I can call back. He says she is out this week demonstrating product etc. but should be back Monday or Tuesday. He then also offers (never mentioned this to me before) to transfer to her voice mail so I can leave a message. I was in shock, and said yes please, that is just what I want. So after all this I finally was able to share the experience with the supervisors voice mail and got her name which is Terry S. For all I know Andrew may erase the message but time will tell. I can say, that I left a long message so I hope to report back a good outcome to this story. read more
