Great local breakfast and lunch spot. At 7 am I had the fresh made Hennys Bennie brkfst sandwich. It was great. carrabasset coffee choices (including decaf!) were fresh made and excellent. Premade breakfast sandwiches available for quick grab and go. I opted to hang at one of the 5 tables plus window bar rather than takeout. Owner Ben and Kenny at the counter were friendly and welcoming. Space was clean, simple, and comfortable. Fresh muffins were baking. Street parking was surprisingly available. Check it out.

Shoutout to Henny's for being open in the middle of a blizzard! We trekked across the neighborhood in search of some breakfast and it was 100% worth it. I ordered a breakfast sandwich w sausage and american on a biscuit. The biscuit was buttery and flaky and stayed together really well. I also tried the breakfast potatoes which were well seasoned and crispy! Hot chocolate was delicious and exactly what I needed in the cold. The cashier and line cook were great and food came out fast. They also have to go sandwiches available for a quick breakfast!

I'm not sure what kind of magic this place is but this is the BEST breakfast sandwich I've EVER had!

+1 star for being open early. Otherwise would be 3 stars for food. Take out (or delivery) only for me so can't comment on inside.

You order at the counter and they bring your food out to you. The line can be pretty long. That said, everyone working there was really friendly and the space was very clean and cute. I ordered the hash and eggs. My eggs came out overcooked, and they were very nice about replacing them, but when the new eggs came out they were kind of just slopped onto a plate. For the price, I expected a little more in both the food and overall experience. BUT...the Salt Yard iced latte was friggin amazing. Easily the highlight and I would absolutely come back for that. Not terrible by any means, just a little overpriced for what you get.

When we finally came during the off season, we thought this would be the perfect opportunity since wait times were shorter. The wait on a Saturday afternoon was about 15-20 minutes. I will say - I had high hopes for Hot Suppa. Between my fiance and I, we ordered the waffle, side of corned beef hash, and the fried green tomatoes eggs benny. The corned beef hash here is excellent - that I do have to acknowledge. I was a bit underwhelmed by the fried green tomatoes though. The tomatoes were just okay, but the excessive hollandaise sauce really just made the whole dish waaay too heavy. It was also just messy. Service was slow & our waitress tended to disappear for long periods of time. Coffee & water refills both took a long time. Parking here is difficult but not impossible. Most spots are only for an hour or so.

They take reservations, even for breakfast/brunch, and I highly recommend making one, especially if you'd like a spot on their very-cool covered patio. Even if you don't, and even if you have to wait a few mins for a seat, don't be deterred - it's so worth it! The feeling inside feels like a celebration of culture, like a Mexican restaurant got a glow-up. Big comfy booths invite you to sit and stay a while. The menu is small but thoughtful and the drinks, from the horchata and cold brew to the cocktails, are nicely curated and feature delightfully unique and seasonal ingredients. My mango coffee cocktail was nothing I would've ordered on my own but I took a recommendation from the bartender and was blown away by how well the flavors played together. Anything you get to eat will be exceptional. If I'm not mistaken, this is the sister restaurant to Teralingua. If you know anything about their brisket, you have a slight idea of what delights await you! Most recently, we tried the brisket grilled cheese birria-style, with consomme on the side for dipping. Let me tell you, my eyes rolled so far back in my head, I lost a contact lens. The service, even at the bar, was wonderful - Jenny was friendly but chill, helpful, quick. A sheer delight during times when great service seems like a relic of the past. We always leave stuffed with a smile on our face.

The menu is eastern European with some Spanish touches (think huevos rotos and patatas bravas). Books featuring Bulgarian photography and other eastern European countries were scattered around the space, it was a lovely touch. The service was just as great as the food. My hot coffee came in the cutest mug and our waitress kept refilling it without being asked. The mekitsi and parzhen were phenomenal, with the parzhen being my favorite. The spreads they came with... I wanted to bottle those and take them home. My husband had the patatas bravas and I had the shakshuka, and we added kyufteh to both, this incredible in-house sausage that was 10/10 (it was a little spicy!). Everything was phenomenal and the portions were generous. If you're not feeling adventurous, they also have traditional eggs and omelettes, all with a little twist and somewhat elevated. Their drinks menu was impressive too if you're into a fancy coffee. Can't recommend this place enough. I shall be back!

We decided to come here for coffee and snacks before heading to the park for the morning with our toddler. We arrived around 9:30am and must've gotten lucky bc we walked right up to the bar and were helped by a super friendly gal and ordered coffees, a few pastries from their display case (I got a huge chocolate chip cookie cup stuffed with Nutella for later) and my husband ordered the Pastrami on Rye sandwich to go. We sat and waited about 15 minutes and watched the crowd grow as about 20 people came into order to go drinks and snacks and a few chose to sit at the patio tables out front for dine in. By the time we left they were warning folks that the kitchen was taking about 45 minutes for food bc of so many orders at once and take out. It's charming inside, with a large bar area with about 15 bar seats, and a few small tables. Cute decor on the walls all Duck-themed and friendly staff who were really bustling. Of note: the Pastrami sandwich my husband ordered was AMAZING. One of the top ones he's had and he orders them everywhere. The pastrami was hot and fresh and the rye was perfectly toasted. I will say I was a big fan of the English Muffin, probably on of the best I have had. I also had plenty of Chipped Ham which was rather tasty. Now the BLT I wasn't the biggest fan of.
