I'll tell y'all, reading these reviews the night before my scheduled move was a real "come to Jesus" moment. I was braced for a horrid experience with this company. To mitigate the catastrophe, I packed and loaded everything that was fragile or of personal worth into my own car for the 10-mile trip. I am pleased to say the two guys were efficient and respectful of my things. It was a small move, but everything made it off the truck and into my apartment. There wasn't even any haggling on the price; after I checked on their work, I handed them their fee plus a modest tip and sent them on their way. Worst moving experience ever. I have moved couple of times over the years and each time is a different experience but I will not be calling this crew for sure. They do not know how to handle the fragile stuff even when you write fragile on the box. Broke a bunch of my cups, plates and glasses and then haggled on the repayment saying show me the receipt of the plates and cups price before they give me the money back for it. The crew was disrespectful and was unreasonable in their demands. Kept asking me for cold water when I am moving between the apartments and understandably I didn't have any in the fridge. read more

Giving one star because 0 stars is not an option on Yelp. As if moving isn't stressful enough, add hiring movers, scheduled to arrive at 9am and no one shows up. Called a couple times to get an ETA since I didn't get any notice of any potential delays, but no answers. Finally, at 11:45am they arrive and begin to load the truck without wrapping and prepping to help prevent any damage during the move. As a result, as shown in pictures, a large floor mirror was completely cracked, paint was chipped off from dresser drawers, and a chair now only has 3 legs. Boxes were poorly stacked as heavier boxes were placed on top of other boxes that caused the boxes underneath to cave in. Also, an unopened bottle of white Hennessy that cannot be bought in the states went "missing" from a rolling cooler that I just happen to pack right before they arrived and started loading the truck. I was originally quoted $495 ($297 + $99 truck fee + $99 for an extra stop that was 1 mile away). When payment was requested, the total somehow came to $597. As I had concerns with how the total came to $597, one of the movers called Henry, and unbeknown to Henry, he was on speaker and began the call by saying "this lady (me) is killing me" as if I was late, as if I provide poor service, as if I incorrectly quoted services. Henry offered a "discount" of $34 for the late arrival, 2 hours and 45 minutes after the scheduled start time. My entire experience with this moving company was disappointing to say the very least. So disappointing that I've taken the time to write this review in hopes that this will save someone else unnecessary added stress during a move. read more

When I called Henry about it he told me he was in a meeting mind you when I called him it was 6 o'clock Sunday night who the h*** is in a meeting at 6:00 p.m. Sunday night. I used Henry moving company for a move after seeing their ad on Craigslist. It was a fairly easy move, the two locations were about 7 miles apart. I had everything packed up as best as I could. Henry Moving Company sent two men with a van, and they quickly gathered all the items in my old apartment. They quickly and efficiently moved everything into my new place. The total was $210 which I thought was pretty good, as they reassembled by bed and dresser for me and saved me a lot of time. They only take cash, no checks. Apparently, sometimes they take credit card, but they were not accepting that method at the time I moved. There was some confusion regarding booking them. I texted the number on the website, and gave a few time options on the day I needed. They responded saying they could come without picking a time. When I responded asking which time they wanted to choose (since I had to book the loading dock of my apartment). I received no response. I texted again the day before my move asking what time they wanted to come and they picked a time I hadn't mentioned. I didn't have anything else to do that day except move, so their time worked for me. The day of, they called me an hour before to confirm that they were on their way and even arrived a bit early. Honestly, I have no complaints. Yeah, I was a bit confused on when they were going to show up but it ended up being fine. If you're on a tight schedule or appreciate a bit more certainty in such things, maybe they aren't the best pick. But for me, they were quick, took care of my stuff, and were in my price range! read more

3rd time I've used this company, 2nd time they showed up late. This time, recommended them to my cousin. They showed up an hour early, but with a smaller truck than needed or they didn't pack it right cause all the sudden they needed to do a second trip. Ended up costing twice what we even over estimated. Also, their 'contract' with you is some text messages, which they did not provide to my cousin. Won't be using them again. read more

I have worked with Henry on TWO long distance moves. Once in December 2017 and again in October 2020. He was GREAT both times!! I booked my move directly with Henry himself. He was professional, flexible and kind. Easy to work with, his guys were very nice and friendly. I had absolutely NO damage to any of my items! I used this company about 2 weeks ago and it was a horrible experience. They were suppose to show up at 8:00 am but didn't show up until 11:45 am. The truck had items still in the back of the truck. The movers got right to work but it took them 2 hours to load up a third floor one bedroom apartment and 30 minutes to drive 15 minutes to the new place. When the movers are done they call their boss and tell him how long it took. So it took 20 minutes to unload my belongings into the new place and as they were bringing in my sofa I notice it was all ripped and scuffed up. I told the movers to get the owner on the phone. He told them he didn't have time to talk because he was in the Urgent Care for his sinuses. Then he texted them and told them to take $60 dollars off and I told them my couch was $700 dollars so no. He texted back 15 minutes later and said take $100 off and I said no once again. I didn't pay him but I paid the movers because they were young guy that worked. I don't think this moving company has freight insurance because he has not called me back to talk about my couch. PLEASE BEWARE!!! read more

The guy who runs this company is a joke. I scheduled movers to come to my storage unit at noon and I get a call at 8:45 saying they would be there at 9. But then they called a few minutes later and said 9:50. When the movers finally did arrive, the truck was too small and they didn't know about the second pickup point (my parents house). The gentleman running this operation had not given any information to the movers, only the date and address. This is really not a good way to run a business. The movers were really nice and I wasn't going to complain until I just unpacked my crystal glasses and 6 of them were broken. Since each piece was bubble wrapped, taped, and then wrapped again in packing paper, basically they threw this box around like they didn't see "fragile" and "do not stack" written plainly on 3 sides. There were also multiple dings in wooden furniture. The one guy also said he didn't have breakfast and my boyfriend and I supplied them with Cliff bars, apples, and bananas. I mean sharing is caring but why am I responsible for feeding you breakfast? The kicker is they when I called the manager of this business to complain and acknowledge that things were not going well, he YELLED AT ME. I'm sorry, why am I giving you money to get yelled at? i used Henry movers a few years ago, and they were pretty good, so I used them again last week. This was the worse experience I have ever had with a moving company. They took 7 hours to move less than a 1 bedroom apartment. Three furniture item, and the rest were boxes. They tried to charge me $700 to move from Columbi, Md to Laure, MD., 30 minute drive with normal traffic. When I told them I was not expecting to spend no where near that amount when I spoke with Henry during the quote he gave me. That I did not have that money to spend. I told them during the move that I had up to $400 put aside for the move. Because the the 2 men took that long to move my items, they wanted me to compensate for the time. I had 2 men from their company move me from a 2 bedroom apartment with 2 bedroom apartment the first time, up & down 3 flights of steps, and they only charge d me $450. They were trying to take advantage of me, and they did worse than that. i wanted them to know I was not trying to cheat them or not pay them, so I paid them $500 through Cash App. I was waiting for the movers to bring the rest of my things in the apartment, when I noticed it had been awhile since they had returned I went to see what was holding them up. They had left! The rest of my items were left outside & inside the docking area. I could not bel this. I had two bad knees, and was limping. They did not care at all! I booked this company for a labor only move, as I rented my own moving truck. When they didn't show up at the agreed upon time, I called and they informed me that they were running late. I had a strict timeline for this move as it's out of state, so I decided to start loading the truck until they arrived. After 3 hours, I was all finished having received help from a kind stranger also moving out of a storage unit. I called and they were "15 minutes away." But as I was done, I cancelled. I really had high expectations of my move with Henry's Movers. I had gotten amazing feedback from my friend who used them a few years ago. I did not have a lot of furniture to move, but made sure to pack everything up to make the process painless for the movers when they got there. Unlike many other reviewers, the movers arrived on time. For the most part, they did a good job. However, when it came to payment they didn't tell me the total cost and just used my credit card over the phone. Although this is worrisome, the major issues began after they left. I noticed, almost immediately, that the movers had damaged my glass table. I called Henry and he got the movers on the phone. Both said that they didn't notice any damage, but hadn't checked. I sent photos showing where the table was now chipped, and was told I would get a call back shortly. After countless emails and phone calls Henry let me know that it was with their insurance, but because it was such a small issue they probably wouldn't do anything. I understand that my glass table top isn't on the top of your list of priorities, but I am a paying customer, and I paid for the furniture that was damaged Again, I heard nothing and got no response to any of the emails that I sent. It wasn't until I told them that I would dispute the credit card purchase; which I didn't authorize, did he tell me he would pay for a replacement piece of glass. I was told the check was in the mail almost three weeks ago. I checked in two times and got no response from Henry as to the status of the check to replace the furniture that was damaged. After getting no response, I moved forward with the claim dispute. I finally called again, after leaving countless voicemails, to which Henry said I couldn't have it both ways. Either I could dispute his charge or he would pay me for the table top. He clearly did not put a check in the mail and was hoping that my small issue would go away. Every time I spoke with Henry on the phone he was condescending and would raise his voice. As someone in customer service, it was a little horrifying to be told that I was the one with the issue. He told me at one point that I should attend a class to learn how to speak to people. I was not expecting someone at my door in a three piece suit to help me move. I was expecting helpful and courteous service from start to finish. I did not get what I paid for as I currently have a damaged table and weeks of frustration dealing with Henry. read more

Was told it's be $220 for the first two hours ($40 for 4th floor, $60 for fuel cost) then it'd be $60 an hour flat after that. When it came down to the bill for 7 hours it should have been $520. The owner wanted $600 flat. I asked where the extra $80 came from and he said because we moved a heavy filing cabinet from the basement, there was an extra charge for heavy items (damn filing cabinet was NOT 300lb). He even said, "I already didn't charge you for moving the fridge. Apparently there's an extra charge for moving appliances too! At no point did the movers or Henry tell me there's be an extra charge for these items. Had they done so, I would've told them not to move it. Icing on the cake? I helped them move that supposed 300lb cabinet. Their second mover looked like he was about to pass out. I seldom write reviews with this much anger but I'm just gutted at how miserable these guys are. I had scheduled them for a move a week before my scheduled date (today) telling them specifically how short of a window I had (based on the times I had my freight elevators scheduled at the from and to place I had a short time span of 3 hours to move from Arlington to Tysons Corner.). They agreed and confirmed - even asked me to send in a form from their website and sent me a confirmation. That gave me a good vibe about them. I get it - movers are always late. I've been moving for 6 years now and I haven't had a single mover come on time. Which is why I had scheduled them for 11am (an hour before I would've wanted them to come.) Today, after waiting for 30 mins, I casually call them. I get Henry on the line and he says the guys are running a little behind. So, I ask him for an estimated arrival. He says he has to call them and find out. I ask him to do so as soon as possible. 20 mins later, I call him again (11:50AM) and he says it's going to be 12.30. I tell him that's not what I was promised and ask him to hurry up. At 12.30 I call him and he doesn't answer. Panicked, I call a few more times and no response. Frantically I try to find another mover which would've at least take them an hour if I called at 12.30 leaving me in a huge disarray at such a last minute. I had a problem with 2 other movers but that's not for this review. Meanwhile when I'm in the middle of talking to the other movers, I get a call at 1PM from a person from Henry's moving company asking me if he should leave now? LEAVE NOW - I was furious. I mean he had the audacity to call 2 hours after the scheduled time to check if he could leave then. I lost my cool and told him what I thought of their crappy service. He assured me he was new to the company and it did really good work and he had just received a notice and could come right away. He further tries to explain to me that there perhaps was another job before mine and that was the reason they were late. I scheduled a WEEK ago specifically telling him my requirements and also called him a day before to reiterate this point. I was still waiting for the other movers I had contacted and could've still used any mover's help whichever came first. He seemed really professional and I figured I was yelling at the wrong guy. He tells me he's half-way to my place and per his GPS should be there by 1.30PM. I call up the leasing offices and ask for some extensions and tell him that if my other movers came through first, I'd have to ask him to leave. He agrees and said he's left. At 2.15PM he says his truck broke down and he's got AAA come in promising me he'll be there in 30 mins (I don't believe him and hang up.). He calls me back telling me they can get people to my place in 30 mins and take care of the move. At this point I completely lose my cool and tell him what I think of this company - which he swears by, are top-notch professionals. I came here looking whether they had a yelp account and to create one to help ensure people don't go through these unprofessional POS movers. Worst company ever!! No show at scheduled time, no clue who we were when we called to find out where they were, and tried to reschedule for another DAY! Do NOT attempt to hire these movers, they are a complete waste of time and money since you have to hire last minute movers to take their place. Allow me to pile on. Scheduled a 2-man crew + 16 ft truck for a Noon pick-up/delivery job moving just a single sectional sofa. At 12:30 with no sign of the crew I call Henry to find out what the ETA is. He says they are on the way and it shouldn't be long. 12:45. Feeling irritated. Still no sign of the movers and so another call to Henry ensues. He says he spoke to them but they were late due to heavy traffic coming out of DC. Again, it's just past noon on a weekday the trip is from DC to Arlington. Not to mention I was just on 66 myself and there wasn't any sign of heavy traffic. But OK, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. 1:00. Blood is starting to boil and another call to Henry is placed. This time straight to voicemail. NOT WHAT I NEEDED. 1:10. Finally get Henry on the phone after repeated calls. He gives me the cell phone number of one of the guys on the crew and tells me to call them myself for an ETA. Now we're getting somewhere. Unfortunately, that "somewhere" is hell. When I call the driver tells me he just picked up my job a couple hours ago (I scheduled this job in advance with Henry) and that he was in PG County doing another move and wouldn't be in Arlington for quite some time. WTF????? What else is there to say? Not only is Henry Moving unreliable but their owner is a scumbag who lied to me multiple times. His crew was not in DC but PG. They were not on the way or stuck in traffic, they were on another job. And they weren't going to be there shortly, they weren't anywhere close. Cancelled the job with Henry on the spot and I can at least be thankful I guess that I didn't sit around for hours on end in the hopes that MAYBE somebody would arrive. My move took place a year ago and I still get angry thinking about the unprofessional and sub-par service that I experienced with this company. I will preface this review by saying, you get what you pay for. They are cheap movers for a reason. The semi-decent "quoted" price is they only thing that they have going for them. Issue 1: The movers were late. Actually, one mover was on time and the other mover was about 30mins late. I had an early appointment (9am) because I did not want my day tied up waiting for a moving truck. Issue 2: I was charged double the quoted amount. I was quoted for a two-man crew with a 16-ft truck. I am still baffled that a 2-hour job took 4-hrs. Issue 3: They dumped everything in the middle of my living room floor because they needed to get to another job. As I was searching for a mover for a friend, this company came up. I definitely should have checked Yelp before I did business with this horrible company--I could have saved myself the bad experience, time, and money. Let me also put it out there that the actual movers were fine..they were nice and put in a bad situation because they probably catch the most heat for what are Henry's bad business practices. I called Henry at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday after finding his Craigslist ad to ask about getting some moving help and a truck for later that afternoon--a totally last minute request, so I knew there was a chance I would have to make a few calls before I found someone who could do it; but alas, I asked if he was able to help me at 1:00 p.m. and he agreed..texting me the confirmation for everything. Fast forward to 1:15 p.m. I hadn't heard anything so I called and he said he would have the movers give me a call. The mover did call and told me that he was finishing up another job and would be there as soon as possible; which ended up being 2:55 p.m. I called Henry and told him that it wasn't okay that we were now 2 hours beyond the agreed upon time and that he should have told me he couldn't take the job, because the additional help that I had to add to his movers and their truck was now gone. He apologized but then negated the apology by telling me that it was a last minute request so he was doing the best he could. My mother ended up eventually calling him from my phone because it was her moving job that I had booked and he stopped answering my calls, but called the movers trying to figure out why I may be calling him (stopping them from doing their job). He ended up speaking with my mother after the fourth time calling in which turned into a shouting match, because she was upset by the delay he caused and he continued to insist that it was our fault rather than owning that he was simply being greedy and accepting a job that he did not have the bandwidth to actually handle and he then proceeded to tell the movers to collect the money before finishing the job in an attempt to threaten that her belongings would be kept. Long story short, Henry lacks the basic skills necessary to sustain a professional and consistent moving business. Even if you're desperate....go another route. read more

The only reason Henry Movers gets one star is because that was the only option. I would give -5 if that was possible on Yelp. This was the worst company ever to use. I scheduled movers over a MONTH in advance for Saturday, November 29th at 12pm. 12pm comes and no one shows. I call Henry and no answer. 12:30 a guy calls me and says, "We are running late on a job, I will be there around 1:30-2:00." 2:30 comes around I call this guy back. He states they are still at the other job in the loading dock. 4:00 I call Henry multiple times and he finally answers. I tell him that I scheduled movers for 12pm and this is completely unacceptable. I ask can he send anyone else because they are supposedly still held up at another job. He says he will call me back but he never does. 4:00 I call Henry back saying I haven't heard anything and I'm still waiting. He says they are on the way. I ask for a discount for being so late he replies, "I will see what I can do" 5:01 Henry is still avoiding my calls and finally the mover texts my phone saying he is on the way (So unprofessional). 5:33 the movers finally show up. I had everything packed in boxes and ready for them to put on the truck. I'm extremely pissed by now and these 2 unprofessional guys do not even offer an apology. They showed up 5-1/2 hours late, musty, and now they are moving extra slow. (I'm sure this is because they charge by the hour). When I say they were trying to milk the clock I mean it!!! I watched the two guys pick up a box of towels/wash cloths and carry it together! WTF! This weighs all of 10lbs. We finally get all of the stuff on the truck around 7:00pm because I helped them. We get to the new apartment and the movers actually asked me to help them carry the boxes up. WTH!? What am I paying you for? Finally around 8:30 all of my things are in the apartment. The mover says, "Its $200 bruh." I tell him that the leg on my bed is broken, they are numerous scratches on my wood bedrail, a screw that is bent beyond repair, glasses are broke, and Henry said he will give me a discount for being late. The guy tells me to "Call Henry cause he handles the insurance shit" I call Henry 3 times and he sends me to voice-mail each time. I ask the movers to call him and Henry picks up the phone. I'm immediately pissed off! I tell him about the damages and he only responds with, "Can you give the phone back to my worker" I put it on speaker phone so I can hear what was being said. He tells the mover to find the piece of the broken leg on the truck. The movers come back in with the broken piece, tell me to grab some wood glue or duct tape and everything will be fine. Also, to go to Home Depot and grab a .75 cent screw to replace it. Henry basically says he will give me a $25 discount for be 5-1/2 hours late and the damages and hangs up the phone. He then calls his movers to say charge him $150. I tell them I will pay with debit and they leave. I call Henry to pay and of course he doesn't answer. I actually called 3 times to try to pay for this bad service. He never answers. Around midnight he calls my phone numerous times. I purposely ignore his calls (As he has done with me all day). He texts me and threatens me saying I will pay him and he is coming to my house to get his money. I finally answer after the repeated calls and tell him how I tried to pay but you ignored my calls. He explains that he is a busy man and doesn't know what his employees are doing. I paid $150 for these shit movers. DO NOT USE! For anyone reading this thinking of giving them a try.... This dude is a piece of work. I hired this company to move me from a 5 bedroom fully packed house. I explained what heavy items I had in advance. He told me 4 guys and a 26 foot truck would do the job. I was moving less than .5 miles! They needed to make 2 trips and refused to bring my fridge. They damaged several items and I ended up ultimately hiring another company to get the things they left behind. Henry argued with me about a BRAND NEW broken dresser his guy admitted to breaking. He tried throwing in last minute fees he made up or pulled out of his bum. He yelled at his employees on speaker phone when they admitted to accidentally breaking the dresser drawer. We hired this company again after using them one year ago because of the great service they provided last time. The effort this time consisted of moving my daughter from DC to Baltimore (Fells Point). They were on time and quickly had the truck loaded and were on the road to Baltimore. Again, they were able to get the truck unloaded quickly with no damage to the items being moved or to the apartment. The new location had a very narrow Sally Port entrance (27 inches wide) that they had to use to move items into the apartment. Parking was an issue also and they had to park in a alley that was several hundred feet away. No complaints from them and they worked nonstop until they were done. The cost was reasonable, the service was quick and efficient and now I have two separate moving experiences that both exceeded my expectations. I can highly recommend Henry Moving Company! read more

We just finished a move with this company. 2 gentlemen were very careless with our furniture. We have a written quote for a 2 hour job for $150, payable by cash or credit. Upon completion of the poor 90 minute job, I went to give them my credit card and they wanted cash only. I had them follow me to an ATM were I drew out $160. I asked for change and they said payment is now $175 cash. When I questioned them about it and said that I will retrieve the written quote, they said they didn't have time to deal with this issue and left with the $160. Beware of this shady business!!!! I'm not giving any stars to this company. The only thing is that the Yelp app makes you select at least 1 star to get your review on their site. I booked Henry's Moving on 21st of November. First, on this Saturday, the 25th of November,they were 2-3 hours late. That morning (Henry the Owner) I called and asked what time they were going to be at my place. He told me between 11-12. At around 11:30, I got a call from the actual movers asking if they could change the move until the following day. They pressed me and I said no that's not going to work. All my stuff was boxed and in the garage waiting for them to make it easy for them. So, they showed up and were slinging boxes into the truck until I went out and saw them doing it. So, that box marked meds (my medication) disappeared AND all my meds (hundreds of dollars worth) with it. Also a few hundred ties (over 150 ties worth a couple thousand $. The box disappeared and I called (the owner of the Movers's company) Henry. So, he then put me in a 3-way conf call with him and one of the movers. The mover said my roommates looked sketchy and I should look at them. No one in the house touched any of my stuff. I am now considering civil action based on what is missing and the fact that I can't get refills for two of my meds that are missing. Beware! Big time! read more

DO NOT DO IT TO YOURSELF. I write this with conviction and all of my heart. Epic fail on my part for not reading reviews before making my reservation with these guys. It was a last minute move and I had to make a game time decision. Henry Moving is the pits! Terrible customer service. My movers were 2 hours late. I had to call them to check there ETA. While they were careful with my item, they were the slowest human beings imaginable. My 5.5 hour move could have easily been done in 3. These guys were in no rush presumably because they get paid by the hour. One mover took it upon himself to provide the soundtrack by blasting loud and lewd music from his phone. I told him to let it go, but really, should I have to? Henry, the owner is a nickel and dimer. He charged me $5 to pay with my credit card. This inconvenience after I was already inconvenienced with a delayed move. Absoulutely Bad Service. They are not good in packaging and handling stuff. One guy was abusing and threatning. They delay so that can charge for extra hour. They did not bring credit Card machine and I had to go to ATM to bring cash. Also they forgot One stuff near elevator. Very unprofessional and desappointing Service. read more

Used Henry Moving Company and now regret not hiring a professional company who has insurance and official paperwork.

On July 10, 2014 the movers from Henry Moving Company arrived 1 hour late. This should have been a sign of what was to come. And I, like many of you, wish that I had consulted Yelp as well as the BBB (Grade-F). I was assured that the drivers would present a contract, however, they stated that the contract was in another truck. Fine. Pressed for time, I moved forward as the owner said that he would email it. Needless to say, no contract received. Long story short, the movers accidentally broke my glass tabletop. The owner, Henry Nwanneka (240.654.7196) agreed to pay for it on multiple occasions via text as well as voice. It has been 4 month's and a court summons later and he has not paid. Failing to show up for court, he conveniently developed an African accent and did not understand English when the court clerk contacted him the morning of. Calling him on numerous occasions to resolve the matter, my call went to voicemail. Calling from a Google voice number, one in which he did not recognize and in hopes of making some money, he answered. Upon learning that it was I, he LIED, again stating that he mailed the check. Couple that with, the address that he claims to work out of is bogus. There are two things I hate, and that's a LIAR and a THIEF! Mr. Nwanneka is both. I concur with the previous posts, in that, if you want unlicensed, piss poor service, hire this asshole. If not, spend a few extra bucks for your sanity and professionalism. read more

During the time I hired these, my wife was expecting and these lazy guys had my wife do some work that we hired them for. We moved 45 minutes away and it took these 3 lazy guys 9 hours to move 2 bedroom and a living room furniture. There is nothing good about this company. I would absolutely recommend against hiring Henry or his movers. They broke the gate at my apartment complex costing me $7000. He is not insured despite his website says! This guy is a complete jerk and overly aggressive when he is obviously in the wrong. I have been showing complete color video footage of his workers causing the immediate damage to the gate, and he has even confirmed that his movers admitted to breaking it. He still refuses to pay. Worst company ever. I scheduled them for a labor only move at 12:30pm yesterday and they did not show up. I found other movers to show up at 3pm but they said they could make it at 2:30 so I picked them again because of the time difference, and my truck was going to get picked up from 3-5pm. They were delayed again until 3:30 and I booked other movers to come at 4:15. At 3:45, they texted me to say they were 20 min away, so I cancelled the other movers again. They were s no-show at 4:20 so I finally booked the other movers again, extended my moving permit with DC to 7pm, rescheduled the truck pick-up to 7pm, reprinted my moving signs, and got my husband to come home early from work to help. This company is super unprofessional, even for Craigslist. Please find another option. read more

Say they are insured, but doubt they are. After moving a few items for us, they broke our 80" TV and chipped our dresser, broke legs of the couch, and scratched wood on fireplace. When i told them about it, they said call office (guy named Henry) in the morning. When called, he said movers said everything was delivered in perfect condition. We are honest people and would think others should be warned. Also, they jack up price last minute and they will curse and hold your belongings captive until you pay higher price. Worst service ever!!! I too have had a horrible experience with Henry. I only chose this company because I needed what I thought was a cheap deal. I guess I got what I paid for. PLEASE TAKE NOTE OF THE FOLLOWING!!! 1. Henry only accepts cash. RED FLAG!!! 2. He tells you to text him the information about your move. No paperwork is ever exchanged. 3. No receipts are given afterward and you don't know the names of your movers. 4. He does business from his house. So I'm not sure if you can ever talk to him in person. Bottom line: If things go wrong (which they probably will), it's just your word against his. So make sure you have a paper trail. His business is shady. My move was supposed to move yesterday at 3:30 pm but Henry mixed up my time. The movers called and said they were on their way at 9:00 am but I told them that my time was supposed to be at 3:30 pm. They said okay that's fine. So at 3:30, I am waiting to hear from someone but I hear nothing. I called Henry and he seems frustrated with ME that there was miscommunication. I told him to check the text messages because I clearly stated 3:30. He told me that I could reschedule for the next day because they don't do moves from DC to Baltimore in the afternoon because of the traffic. However, he NEVER stated this beforehand after I texted my 3:30 pm time. So reluctantly, I had to reschedule for NOON the next day. The movers called the next morning and said that they will be there at 10:30 am (wtf!!!). So they take 3 hours and 10 minutes to move a 1 bedroom apt from storage to an apartment that is 5 miles down the road from the storage facility. They wanted to upcharge me an hour for the additional 10 minutes. Henry was EXTREMELY rude about it and would not compromise the 10 minutes and take a partial payment although they were off a day late. So I paid for 4 hours of service when I only received 3 hours and 10 minutes of service plus a lot of miscommunication and attitude. The icing on top of the cake is that I am missing a nice glass vase!! NEVER again will I deal with this company. The owner is shady and rude. BEWARE! read more

The movers damaged my TV, they admitted to damaging my TV, the owner pretended to be in negotiation with me to resolve the issue then avoided all my communication after a week. The issue is still open and has not been resolved. read more
