Never never use this mover unless you wanna pay extra 1000 dollars. When I make the reservation. They told me 3b3b usually costs 3 hours, recommending 4 person crew and 3 hours. Which costs around 1000 bucks. So I agree. And when it goes to the day of moving. At the first 4 hours, The 4 man crew is wrapping everything like eggs.They use unnecessary wraps which I need to pay. The first 4 hours they just moved about 20-30 box's to trail. We had lunch outside and when we get back we found only 1 person inside. They told us they did not bring enough wrapping material so they need to go back to bring some. And when we asked about the time. They told us it's about 5 hours total. We thought it might be acceptable. Then it goes to 6-7 hours. We feel angry and called their company to complain. Then their company call them and they stop wrapping things as eggs. They begin to put the chair and shelf without and wrapping to trailer. Also, I have told one of the workers not to wrap my carpet because I want to throw them away. They still do it to get more time and more money. Even I do the job I will be much faster than they do. They are soooooo slow and after 8 hours we are helping to move everything to the trailer. Because even we remind them 5 times they still did not take any action. And then it finally goes to 9 hours. After bargain and discuss how much time was wasted. We paid 2000. I totally don't understand why after we have packed all our belongs, they only need to move the large furnitures and boxes to the trailer. They literally rolled out the red carpet to prevent damage to my wood floors. They took such care in packing up and unpacking my items. I chose these movers given that their price point was more reasonable. I was not prepared for the unsavoury nature of the move. Movers were in a bad mood the entire time. When we got to the destination, the elevators were out of service, and both movers threw such a fit that for a moment I was worried about my safety. Mind you, I mostly had boxes, and three pieces of furniture. They scratched my furniture, which isn't surprising since they didn't use any padding to move the stuff. I think they just wanted to do the bare minimum, take their money and leave. When I called to leave a complaint, the person I spoke to could care less about the issues I faced. I would strongly recommend not going with pro100movers. I hired them last summer based on a friend's recommendation. We had gotten a bunch of estimates and pro100movers was the lowest rate/total we received and you really get what you pay for. We packed all of the items ourselves and was ready to go - it was just a short move across the circle. We also had extra bubble wrap and tape guns in case they needed anything. When they came in they looked annoyed, very shoddily prepared, and were very rushed and rough with our stuff. They came in with a roll of tape around the one guy's wrist (no tape gun) and they got some padding at some point. They literally peeled the tape and haphazardly wrapped the tape around the padding around whatever items needed a little protection. It seemed like a very slipshod job but I tried to go with it and say they've gotta know what they are doing. Anyway, they were a bit sneaky about how they unloaded things. They unloaded into the new apartment in such a way that they piled everything on top of the items that were broken so that we couldn't check them until after they left and signed the forms. One item in particular was our midcentury coffee table which is a solid wood table was split down the middle. Given how they wrapped it and that they piled tons of boxes on top of it it took us a few days of moving things around to finally get to it and notice. We contacted the company immediately and their response was that they most they could do was reimburse us based on the weight. The response is below: "Movers Informed me what happened on that day and your table was damaged at the loading place in an elevator when door was shutting and table fell on the floor. According to the contract insurance covers only $0.60 per pound which could be $12-$15. We can offer you $50 by check to cover that damage. Sorry for the inconvenience but in our job failure like that happens and we are looking forward to solve it with a minimum losses for customers." What confuses is me is they knew it was damaged (and quite honestly I don't even believe that is how it was damaged bc how did the edge get crunched) why they would hide it and try to dupe me into signing the form confirming nothing was damaged instead of just being honest?? On top of that, we were moving a lamp and the guy grabbed it and literally made a huge whole in it and didn't say a word about it. At that point, I felt trapped and knew that they had our stuff in their possession and I didn't want to argue after nearly everything was in the truck in case they felt like damaging anything else in retaliation. So just know if you're researching this company on here know that the pictures are not representative. Of the items they had to wrap it was haphazard and really half-assed. I felt immediately that we almost deserved this for going with the cheapest option. Also, pay attention to the photos - this is one of the rare times that I am seeing a yelp profile where most of the nearly 100 photos are photos posted by the business! Why are they trying to flood the yelp page with their staged photos? Just something to think about. read more

First, the price was the most the reasonable (by far!!) of the approximately 8 movers I called in the DMV area. Second, they were timely - arrived exactly as scheduled, in fact! They were also superb with communication from the quote follow-up in the morning to their time window for getting to our home in the afternoon. Third, they took great care with our very very heavy and awkward sofabed and managing our small space in a DC home. They covered the sofa with blankets to move it, protected walls, etc. even though it was an "in-home move." I recently moved from a one bedroom apartment to a 2 bedroom townhome. I contacted these guys the week I needed movers and they were able to come to the rescue! Plus, they were asking much less than other movers I found on here. They called prior to coming as they said they would, and arrived a few minutes early. My mother was with me and kept asking if they could help us take additional things either to their truck or simply to the dumpster (less for us to do). Even though I initially hired them for the big ticket items, they jumped right on it and did not charge extra. My only very minor issue with them is that they simply put things in my place. I mean, they did ask what room to place each item, but they did not help with the set up of items and things were literally just placed in the room. Thankfully I didn't need help with setting up anything (my bed frame is super easy), so it all worked out. I only add that to this review in case any readers are looking/expecting that service. We used Pro100 movers back in Sept and it was not a good experience. First the owner and his staff spoke little English. Problem! It was hard to communicate with them. The owner's disposition was nasty. The truck size was not adequate enough for moving a 3 level townhouse. If fact they could not move most of our large furniture and had additional charges for tape per roll and wrapping paper. One of the movers urinated in the toilet of my new home without asking. I felt violated and disrespected! When asked he said Yes I used!!!! this service was less than mediocre and I would advise anyone to do your homework before hiring this company. Pro 100 Movers' Alex and Ostop were lightning fast! I was given an arrival time of 1 PM to 3 PM and they arrived at 12:50 PM; 10 minutes before the earliest start time. From the beginning and throughout the move they hustled. It felt like I had more than two movers assisting me. Not a second was wasted. At the first stop the truck was packed up in approximately 45 minutes and that's in an apartment building starting from the 8th floor to a loading dock area away from the building. The move was from DC to Arlington and I ran into quite a bit of traffic so I expected them to be late since they had to drive a large truck. They showed up right behind me. My address is difficult to find. Alex is very astute and intelligent and he was using his truck side mirrors and was able to spot me and figured it all out. The crew was really on top of things. They unloaded quickly and followed instructions. The entire move with commute took about 2 hours. I didn't have a ton of stuff - mainly a bed, TV, and some boxes and suitcases but at the new location there are ton of stairs and even a steep spiral staircase that had to be navigated which can add extra time but they managed to unload in 30 minutes.. Their truck was very clean inside. This is important when moving nice furniture and beds. Some moving companies haul junk along with their moving service and you never know what's been in those trucks. The cost was very reasonable. I paid $250 for the move plus $35 for materials I requested (two mattress protectors and some bubble wrap). Their fee structure is $250 for a two man crew for the first two hours with a two hour min, then $95 per hour after that with no truck fee. I also appreciate that the movers were "normal". Past companies I worked worked with seemed to employ a motley crew staff. For any of you Bachelor fans, I think Alex resembles Ben Higgins and Ostop resembles Shawn Booth, which made the move more fun:) Bottom line, would hire again! I would never recommend this company for moving. Please explain why would someone hire a moving company to charge you $800 for a 1 bedroom apartment on the 1st floor to move 200yards away in the same complex? To make matters worse the movers made 2 trips and repeatedly the two movers would only move 1 box at time. Everything was in boxes when the movers came, all they had to do is load the items on the truck and drive 200yds and move the items into new unit. When calling to complain, I was directed to send a email, where someone responded stating that they focus on quality not speed. Those movers are experienced enough to have adapt speed with quality. Clearly, this was a scam to make more money. I've used this company before in 2020 before they were bought out, I actually have the same furniture and was charged less. The amount of time your movers took, they could have moved another client. Clearly, different standards are practiced now where they advertise low cost for 2hrs and their movers make sure it takes longer to make more money. This move should have taken maybe 2.5hrs not 4hrs. I emailed Al at Pro 100 movers, after getting the run around from another company... Al was willing to move us on the 4th of July when I know other companies would have charged us an arm and a leg. There was a flat fee of 80/hr and they did not include the time it took to reassemble my baby crib and bed frame! I hired these guys to do an office move. It was relatively small and short notice, and they were quick to agree. The day of the move, the arrival time kept slipping, eventually by over three hours. It was at first weather related, but as time went on it became hard to believe that it was the weather. When I spoke to the manager, Alex, he became very unprofessional, using harsh tones and elevated volume, and actually threatening me with cancelling my move if I had, "some kind of problem". I calmed him down in order to get the move done. In other circumstances, I would have terminated the agreement and sued him for causing me to incur building staff charges while waiting for his late crew. In any event, they eventually showed up. The actual movers were very professional and hard working. They wrapped everything carefully and were some of the best movers I have ever worked with.Also, their price is very fair to begin with, so that is something to consider. I elected to tip my movers because they were so awesome, by the way. And so we have a dilemma here, Management gets an F, and Labor gets an A, so I rate them collectively overall as a C+. I hired them for loading my stuff into a truck. They came on time and started working immediately. They were very fast and efficient and very professional. They loaded my boxes and furniture etc into the truck very tightly and it looked like a piece of art to me. The complete picture was just like they finished jigsaw puzzles. They charged 10 dollars for a picture box basically a card board flattened out you place in front of any glass surface. They use 4 of them on each tv, two on each mirror and it doesn't matter if it is already bubble wrapped. They don't tell you till the end that you have 18 boxes. Horrible experience!! DON'T BE FOOLED LIKE ME!!! Today prop 100 came out to move my town house; I got 3men and a truck. First they showed up 30mins late. Then once they got here and I opened the door, they guy said I very nasty "I called you and you didn't answer"(probably because I was to busy packing and didn't hear the phone. Then all 3 men came in so I could show them everything that has to be moved. Once they see everything they started to roll their eyes and huff and puff... then he stated yeh they have to charge me extra to move the dryer because it's a bulky item!! Really!! I told him that I listed that as one of the items that had to be moved and NO ONE told me it'll me extra! On top of that, they told me because I packed and wrapped all my mirrors and glass tables and stuff myself, that they can't take it because they didn't know what condition it was in if it break... but yet if they would've wrapped it they would've CHARGED me! I immediately called the manager Stephen and he was absolutely NO help and or sympathetic! Now I have to try and rent a truck and find someone to help me move ALL my glass items. I had a great experience with this company, and I would highly recommend them! The movers, Chris and Kendall, were fast, friendly, upbeat and very helpful. Ironically, I almost cancelled because I checked the YELP reviews after I had booked the job and saw how bad the ratings were. However, I couldn't get my act together in time to hire another company. I booked them 2 days before the job. Kate, the girl at their office was so nice and professional and had sent me a contract within an hour on a Saturday, so I just took my chances, and I was pleasantly surprised. They had a job before mine and were scheduled to arrive between 2-3pm, but I had asked if they could get to me by 1:00 p.m. On the move day, they called to say they could come early and showed up at 1:00 p.m., which was great. I very much underestimated the scope of the job ( I thought it would only take about 2 hrs. and 2 men to move me from a 2 bedroom apt. in downtown D.C. to a house near Silver Spring. Yeah, in retrospect that does seem crazy! In any event, they took it in stride and 5 hours later, they were still cheerful and moving fast. I left the apt. to meet them at the house, and they showed up just a few minutes after I arrived. At one point, they asked if they could take a 2 min. break, but then they never even took it because they realized that they would be done emptying the apt. with just one more trip and they wanted to get that out of the way. I am generally hard to please (just ask my husband), so when I am so impressed with work ethic and attitude, it is quite unusual. The movers are pretty casual and listened to music from their phone, but I don't need formal movers -- they were plenty professional. They did a great job wrapping my TVs and fragile items and then putting them back together. They didn't grumble or complain or make me feel bad for how badly I underestimated the job. These are good guys doing a hard days work, and I am very glad I went with them. They did a good job with packign items and all my stuff was delivered mess and damage free. they were not as friendly but they were efficient. my biggest issue was they just packed up things w/ out my cnsent. i was charged like 70 bucks for picture boxes for tvs when i had blankets or could have just put in my car. its a good idea to suggest to customers to buy their own bubble wrap b/c they wont use blankets for sofa/loveseat but i was not happy with paying $270 through angies list for 3 hours and my final bill being $650 and they got to my house 30 minutes before window. They also seemed to take about an hour to meet me at new house and when i left they only had like one item to move so i feel i was charged for an hour erroneously. dont know that i would use them again. read more

after calling about about 15 places, we settled on this one. a lot of research went into deciding to use these guys. we were moving from washington dc to the philadelphia suburbs and thought their prices were comparable with renting a uhaul and doing it all ourselves. man, am i glad we didn't go that route (even though we just had a one-bedroom apartment--how much shit can one person have? A LOT!) so-- a uhaul should have been (when all was said, done and calculated) about $280 with packing materials and anything else we needed; this would not have included gas or tolls though. so let's make it $300. for pro100movers, we paid $550 before tip. this was a FLAT fee. i had a ton of questions, called them several times and everything--EVERYTHING--was crystal clear from the get-go. even my confirmation emails were promptly followed up with. all the moving, all the time they took, any materials they used, tolls, gas, mileage...FLAT. other movers wanted thousands and you know i ain't joking about those numbers if you call to get some quotes on a long distance move. they (two men) showed up on time (well, a couple of minutes late, but they called to let me know), worked hard, and got us out of our apartment in about two hours--this may seem long, but my 30-something boxes and furniture was pushing the ultimate limit for the truck size that we said we needed and they really had to finagle things to make it all work. they were fabulous and tried their hardest to put my couch in my new apt (thank goodness i already had some furniture waiting for me from the previous owner). it was a no-go. and then they tried their hardest to get it into the basement. no-go. as it turns out, you can not get couches in and out of here without taking off the door molding and then some or taking a window apart and going that precarious and complicated route. wish we had known that before we wasted an extra hour of these men's lives. but...my husband gave them a VERY good tip. useful tip: if you want to know what to tip moving guys, make it about $5 an hour (from beginning to end) and then minus whatever you're not satisfied with, or add more if you're super pleased...one of the moving companies i called for a quote shared this with me... read more

Pro100 Movers moved me yesterday, and I couldn't be happier with the experience! I understand this company has many teams and trucks, I HIGHLY recommend the team we got - their names were Chris, Daniel, Alex, and Anton (Chris was the leader, I believe). It took Alex (the owner) over 24 hours to confirm the appointment because he was actually working jobs but it turned out to be no concern (and he answered the phone at all hours to answer my questions and comfort me). I was moving from a large 4 BR townhouse with a significant amount of patio furniture, and picking up about 3 rooms of furniture from my sister's house. I moved all the boxes myself but had a lot of furniture. All the houses were within about 2 miles of each other. We called and got estimates from several companies (and an independent handyman with access to a box truck and a crew), and were told by each that it would cost $2000+. Ouch! The total bill for Pro100 Movers (including a 5% discount for paying cash, yay!) was $660! I win! For four guys, I paid $95/hour and a $95 "arrival" fee, and they completed the move in 6.5 hours. On top of the reasonable cost, the guys were awesome. They were funny and upbeat the entire time, singing and joking around. They made it seem like the move went by very quickly, despite 3 trips worth of stuff. They clearly knew what they were doing and were very careful, there was no damage to our furniture that we have noticed and they only bonked into our wall slightly twice (no significant damage) despite some very awkward angles in my sister's house and mine, and some VERY large furniture (like 8'x8', seriously)! Most companies would triple-wrap everything but they took minimal measures necessary to protect our furniture, which was what I wanted to avoid excess cost. They were also very personable and pleasant to work with, and they acted SO grateful for everything - for the business, the music we played which kept them energized, every bottle of water, the pizza we got them for lunch, and especially for their tip (I found online that $5 per man per hour is customary, we gave them a little more because they were that good). To cut down on time, we did as much as possible to help without breaking our backs, we tried to take all the blankets off the furniture, moved some smaller items to the loading area, disassembled and assembled our own furniture...most movers would be annoyed by the interference but they were actually happy about it. Also I booked this move on Wednesday for the following Sunday, they initially wanted to schedule it starting at 2 pm but I was concerned that would run too late so they made it work for 9 am, so that was great that they could accommodate the short notice also. Most companies charge a lot for packing tape ($9 each once, yikes!) so I was careful to have enough on hand, but they only charge $3.50 per roll if you need it (and nothing for blankets unless you need to keep them after the move in a storage area or something) or other materials like plastic wrap). Sure, the appearance of their outfits and truck weren't super professional, but why do I care? Do I want to pay extra for that? Defintely not.
