Cute location, kind service, nice ambience. I love how they had a huge drink menu that was just as big as the food menu lots of fun options. I also really appreciated the amount of food sensitive options they had. I had a friend with me with a lot of very specific food allergies who struggles to eat out anywhere, and there were so many options for her! Not just one or two items! The care that goes into developing a large menu that considers so many allergies and food sensitivities and all the substitutions they offer, was an art in and of itself. Not to mention everything tasted great. I will for sure be back. My only small complaint was the water served didn't have ice in it and it was a hot day plus we sat outside and I am not a fan of luke warm water. On that note, I didn't bother to ask for ice and I'm sure they would have brought it.
Always walked by Eat Real Cafe but never stepped in until now. Glad we did too. Before a movie around the corner our group stopped in for a quick bite to go. The Chicken Club Sandwich was amazing. On grilled sourdough the sandwich has a delicious breast of chicken with applewood bacon and cheddar. The combination was perfect. Not sure if they season the chicken but it was so good and juicy. The side of sweet potatoes chips was also very good. I'm not usually into sweet potato fries or chips but they were a good compliment. I had a bite of the chicken quesadillas which were really good too. Everything tasted very fresh. We planned on taking the food to go but while waiting we were enjoying the ambiance inside and stayed. The girl at the front counter was super nice and completed the order as requested. The rest of the menu looked good too so we will be back.
Great experience! Came here to have an early dinner with a friend of mine. Wait my friend had the burger. I had a sandwich. We also ordered some chips and guac/ salsa. Our server was very nice. Very patient since it was our very first time. They use healthier ingredients. The food we ordered was very good and very tasty. The prices weren't bad either.
This was a really cute experience. Of course it didn't hurt that the weather was perfect. It also didn't hurt that parking was so insanely easy and FREE. ...which, of course Eat Real had nothing to do with - but in a way - they did. Can you see how delusional I am? In any case, there was a tiny wait - 15 minutes or so, but its nice, because they text you when they're ready to seat you. The food is so nice and fresh - and the staff are super friendly. I think this is the perfect spot if you want to grab a nice brunch and soak up the sun.

The garlic hash browns were great though. I also got the cafe con leche: it's basically milk and coffee with a bit of sugar. No real brown sugar flavor there at all. The service itself was great though. All the staff were very friendly and attentive. I might just need to try something different on the menu, because everyone was great to us our first time here. There is street parking right out front as well.
We were in downtown Santa Clarita on Main Street, and thought we would try this Eat Real café. First off, they have a really nice menu with quite a variety of drinks, including specialty juices, specialty coffees and teas, with or without caffeine, and a lot of superfood drinks. The lavender moon latte the best ever! Not too heavy on the lavender, the super food wasn't overpowering, and with oat milk it was absolutely creamy and delicious! We also had the power grilled chicken sandwich. The chicken was a bit dry, but it had kale jack cheese with red pepper pesto, and other than the dryness of the chicken the sandwich was pretty darn good. They have nice music playing in the background, the service is friendly, and we sat outside on their cute patio. All in all, it was pretty good! Not perfect, but a pretty good place to stop, especially if you love lavender because I'm telling you that drink I'm gonna think about for a long time!
My son is a regular here so I had to try them out while I was in the Santa Clarita, CA area this past weekend. The neighborhood is so cute and cozy. As you walk into the restaurant, you get this laid-back feeling that I loved, especially in the morning. The restaurant was clean and very well designed to give you that warm and fuzzy feeling. I started with an iced Matcha with oat-milk & a butterscotch scone...delicious. I ordered the omelette, which was very good with a side of hashbrowns. Yum! The merry maple chai coffee is delicious here, get one! Good service. Their Motto: WE ARE MAKING SURE THAT EAT REAL CAFÉ OFFERS FOOD THAT WILL PROPEL THE HUMAN BODY WITHOUT EVER COMPROMISING TASTE. They are very transparent with their ingredients which is the main reason I chose to visit. We parked in the garage right behind the restaurant, which had plenty of parking. I highly recommend checking them out.
INCREDIBLE intimate café/restaurant and a top tier choice for Vegans in the Newhall & greater SC area! Arrived on an evening to the glowing, warmly lit interior which is full of chic natural wood toned furniture. A wall of their very own in-house made wines issued beautifully choreographed and brings in a sense of both elegance and a homegrown environment. Comfortable seating and quiet ambience, it served as a fantastic date place. The waitress was an absolute delight - kind, courteous, smiling, attentive, and always present. My cold pressed "Pumped" juice was AMAZINGLY good, dwarfed only by the absolutely STELLAR "Maca Mushroom Mocha Latte" -- the cafés most "must get" drink in my humble opinion. The vegan nachos arrived as a chips plate for a party would - nestled in a large bowl and REPLETE with every topping a nacho lover loves (beans, pico, guac, cream cheese), the vegan cheese was to die for and so were the gluten free Siete chips (so awesome to see). My vegan wrap was warm and just so tasty. If you're an avocado fan, you would love it. My date's vegan bowl (pictured but keep in mind she removed some veges from it for taste preferences) was enough food for a family of 4. Needless to say, we knew from the get-go that we were leaving with 2 days worth of great leftovers! Cannot cannot cannot wait to go back!!!
Adorable downtown spot with a big city vibe. The area is well designed and gives off a calm peaceful vibe. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. The staff had a very chill vibe to them. It's a slow paced spot so if you are looking to sit and actually enjoy being at a restaurant this is the place for you. As for what i ordered : Einspanner latte 7/10 cold foam was delicious but espresso could be a bit stronger Chicken cesar wrap 8/10 really good just wish it was served with some sort of spicy sauce
Great breakfast spot with a wide variety of food, juices, and smoothies. My favorite smoothie is the Protein Recovery, it's delicious with the perfect blend of banana and chocolate flavors! For juices, I highly recommend trying the Cleanse and Be Happy. My go-to breakfast order is the breakfast bowl with bacon instead of chicken sausage. The red pesto sauce on top is so good! It can get busy so I sometimes order online for pickup. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, and there's a parking structure behind the cafe.
Came here for Saturday brunch on Mother's Day weekend and it was packed but we didn't wait too long considering it was a holiday weekend. We were seated inside and I immediately noticed how cute the inside aesthetic is! We ordered a few different things and the food came out pretty quickly. I got the strawberry smoothie and it was great, yummy without being overly sweet. The shrimp tacos were amazing and the power griller sandwich was delicious as well. I got my daughter the kids chicken plate subbing chicken for salmon and it was great (love that they use wild caught salmon). The service was great overall too. I love that they use organic and clean ingredients. I even noticed they use Redmond Real Salt which is a really high quality salt, and says a lot about how much they care about the quality of their ingredients. Prices are reasonable too. Fair warning it's a little loud inside but not too uncomfortable. Would highly recommend this restaurant if you're in the area!
My boss took us back here for dinner. (It's her favorite place and I'm glad it is!) This time I got a hearty turmeric chicken stir fry. It was filled with veggies and well seasoned. I also got for Ross hibiscus tea which was tangy, sweet, and refreshing. Our waitress was SO SWEET! I wish I had her name. She was patient and informative and just such a pleasure. I'd almost go back just to be served by her. The ambiance is so calming and welcoming as well. I'll definitely be back! read more

Eat Real is a really nice place for brunch, lunch, and everything in between. They have lots of breakfast options, salads, sandwiches. I also appreciated their smoothie and juice options and unique coffee and matcha drinks. The food is organic and there are so many healthy options. It was a 30 minute wait to be seated but the food and ambience made it all worth it. In the meantime, you can walk around the town and check out the other shops. Inside the staff are very nice and the decor is very warm and welcoming. This is a great place for a catch up with friends, dinner with family, or a nice treat for yourself! read more

This was my first time here to Eat Real Cafe and I was not disappointed. The food was very good and the boho vibe inside was very pleasant and relaxing. I ordered the Loaded Chicken Quesadilla to try something light. I had to get it unloaded due to diet restrictions and the server / host who took my order was very understanding. She assured me they would take my allergies and health considerations into full account. Even went back to the kitchen right then and there to remind the cook. The Quesadilla was very delicious. They loaded it up with lots of chicken and jack cheese blend. Even though I couldn't partake in all the fixings, it really held its own. This would make a good shareable appetizer for 4 people or a satisfying light meal for 1. Everything tasted very fresh. They chipotle mayo is made in house, as well as the guacamole. I was impressed with the extend of the menu for being a "Cafe". I will come back to try some more yummy dishes. read more

Delicious breakfast sandwich! The sausage was so herby and the cappuccino was spot on. The service was good, it took a few minutes to get greeted, so we technically missed brunch, but they were happy to accommodate. There were plenty of tables inside and outside to sit at. read more

Ordered via Door Dash. Order arrived with the lid off and my burrito was COLD! Restaurant put everything on the side :( I tried to reassemble but it all fell apart. Basically had a burrito bowl. Reported to door dash and they did nothing about it. What a waste of $$$. Never again read more

Delicious food, refreshing smoothies and juices, and cozy ambiance. Definitely recommend the protein recovery smoothie: chocolately goodness with banana! The açaí bowl is a great choice if you want something fresh (and it's served in a cute coconut bowl)! And the breakfast bowl is a hearty scramble. Service is fairly quick despite how crowded it can get! read more
Had some vegan family members come in from out-of-town for Christmas & wanted to take them to a place that could accommodate their dietary needs. I do not think there could had been a better place to take them in SCV. Set aside the fact that ERC is situated amongst the fairly renovated downtown Newhall (within the past couple of years), walking inside kind of feels like you've been transported you to another world - you do get "small town vibes, U.S.A. where time slows down". Maybe a better word to describe this gem of a place is, "quaint", & I mean this with the highest compliments. It's cozy & it's exactly what I wanted. The menu is quite expansive -breakfast, lunch, dinner, alcoholic beverages, smoothies, etc - & I love that you can pretty much order anything at almost any time of the day. My guests ordered vegan breakfast burritos - I had a bite & they were quite on par, if not better than anything that I've had (especially for someone who grew-up getting them across the street at Jimmy Dean's). As for myself, I went with the Salmon Plate & it did not disappoint. The portion was generous & the salmon was well cooked. Personally, I can't wait to come back. Support local & I'd be surprised if you didn't fall in love with SCV with this lovely, local restaurant + shop. Huge shoutout to Riley for being the warmest of servers. I especially appreciated her attentiveness to my guests' / table needs & she never once hesitated to refill my bottomless mimosa (if management is reading this, please give her a raise!) Easily my vote for most "warm + fuzzy vibes" in Santa Clarita. Thank you, Eat Real on Main! read more

When they say "avocado toast", what they mean is bread with a bunch of produce on top and you might see a hint of green smeared on the top. I have had so many awful meals here (cold, soggy, etc), but only come for my friend who still enjoys it. I'm wondering if it's old age or perhaps she's drunk, but I guess I'll never know. Despise this place. Word to the wise, bring your own avocado if you would actually like it to be a part of your avocado toast breakfast. read more

The Newhall location is spacious and has outdoor seating. I was able to have lunch and work. My server was super attentive and nice! I had a pleasant working lunch! read more
I love Eat Real Cafe! I got the Delish Sandwich with fruit, and it totally lived up to its name--so fresh and flavorful. The food here is so healthy, and everything I've ever tried has been amazing. You can really tell they care about quality ingredients. Definitely one of my go-to spots when I visit Newhall! read more

Review update. This is the first time I've come here in the late afternoon. I usually am a breakfast customer. The staff was extremely friendly and obliging. We were very cold and she sat us at a window seat in the sun and made sure our table was clean and ready for us I ordered the curry chicken sandwich on Dave's killer wheat bread and it was exactly what I wanted. The curry chicken is delicious and the side salad was fresh and tasty. I also ordered a pot of Earl Gray tea and the tea was brewed to my liking. The total for my meal with tip was $22 and I will definitely be back for lunch or dinner in the future. read more

Atmosphere interior is nice and clean. It feels cool and refreshing upon entering. The menu has a lot of healthy items and I went with the breakfast burrito. The wait time to receive my order was 15 minutes at around lunch time with a moderate amount of people. Price for the burrito was overpriced to me. It was ~$17 but they do have organic eggs and good quality ingredients. The burrito tasted delicious; however, the burrito was small and was not filling at all. I did enjoy the server attitude. It was pleasant and she was attractive. There were major problems with the WiFi. I tried connecting to it but it was not working properly. Somehow the WiFi was disconnecting and not working when I really needed it because there is no phone service nearby. Another guest told me he had trouble connecting as well. The other items on the menu were about the same price, but some of the special items were hovering $30 for the dinner although you get good quality food. Quantity was not good. I was hungry after consuming my breakfast burrito. The salsa that came with it helped the burrito taste better as it was already relatively good tasting. The price killed it for me. I have bigger and decent tasting burritos elsewhere for half that price or about $10. Overall, nice service, good quality, poor quantity and value for dollar could have been better if the burrito was bigger. Otherwise, it was worth a try and the interior was beautiful. read more
