Restaurant was spacious but lacked latin flare, we was not impressed with the mojitos a bartender would make a great suggestion since our server was very proud she made our drinks that did not taste like club soda the appetizer was ok we had a tostada with meat on top and ordered crockets that looked like two small cheese sticks. Restaurant staff was polite and restaurant has lots of potential however it needs to be more authentic. I would not revisit.

I ordered a tres leches for my boyfriend's birthday and picked it up through DoorDash. The tres leches was $8 so I was expecting a decent sized dessert. The tres leches was served in a little cup maybe 2 inches in diameter. I ended up getting another tres leches from Publix which was half the price and better!

Amazing Cuban food! I visit Cuban Island every time I am in town. It seems to be a place frequented by repeat customers. I am not one of those people who are concerned about how long it takes to be served. The wait staff have been constantly courteous. If there is a delay, they have let us know the reason for delay. I am pleased to be a part of the repeat customer pool.

    So good.

I adore this place. Small , quaint and delicious. I usually get close to the same thing every time , beef or pork. Today however I ventured down a new route. I am so stoked. I don't remember the exact name. Grilled fish and shrimp w scallops and linguine instead of penne. I have a new fave. The zesty tomato with the grilled seafood. Dayummm. We had the delicious mussels w toasted Cuban bread... Chardonnay yeah.

Came here for the first time on a Saturday for lunch and it was quiet and no wait. The menu had a variety of dishes for both adults and children. We tried the following: For the kids: Palomilla- 4oz Steak with Rice Cuban Chicken Nuggets with French fries The kids absolutely loved the food We ordered the: Pan con Bistec with Fries and the ejemplares de Cuba appetizer included empanadas, croquetas, yuca, ropa vieja and picadillo. Absolutely delicious everything was really good and service was great!

Grabbed some lunch to go. Nice place inside some bar seating and also table seating. They were friendly and fast. I got the grilled chicken salad the chicken was really good and cooked perfect. There wasn't much lettuce. The Lechon Asado was juicy and tender meat with great flavor. They forgot to add the plantains that came with it so I was a bit bummed about that. It did come with rice and beans. I also got a beef empanada that was super crispy and tasted good but there wasn't much beef filling. Overall it was tasty and did the job!

Fantastic little family owned Cubano restaurant! We were staying across the street and saw all of the great reviews and decided to try. We were seated right away, they have a small dining room with table service. Lots of folks filled tables, so they are clearly popular. We ordered a couple of traditional mojitos that were very well made and fresh. We were not too hungry so we split their sampler appetizer plate and a Cubano sandwich. Everything was absolutely delicious! Our service was fantastic, we had a tall Italian gentleman waiting on us who checked in often. If we were locals we would definitely be regulars here!

It is a must stop, really! I went in with lunch and delighted at my meal. I went old school and jumped on the Cuban sandwich with a side of maduros. Unbeknownst to me, the sandwich came with fries which were good but my waistline didn't need.

Love the food and ambiance. The quality and amount of food has gone down a bit but would recommend going back. Still my go to place

It was perfection from beginning to end. From the friendly staff to the feel of sitting in a small cafe in Cuba, it was an experience to remember. Let's talk about the food. I had my third Cuban in three days and this one was easily the best and most authentic. The plantains with mojo criollo were incredible. My son's steak came with the most delicious dipping sauce that made parsley taste like far more than a garnish on the side of a plate. The side salads were so fresh and had the most wonderful pickled onions on top. My other son had salmon that was perfectly cooked and came with a side of quinoa like I've never tasted before. I had the absolute best mojito I have ever had, and to top off the meal I had a beautiful cafe con lèche that was perfection in a cup. This is most definitely a hidden gem. Seek it out if you are in the area. You will not be disappointed. Your tastebuds will thank you.

The sauce was absolutely delicious. The mashed potatoes were loaded and massive, and the broccoli tasted great. Couldn't finish it, so took it home! Two have chickpea as a source with the third no having a plant based source of protein in the dish. We confirmed with the server that the guacamole did not contain dairy so ordered the plantain chips and guac as an app- highly recommend. Then after having many other burgers/sandwiches on our trip I opted for the chickpea pasta with veggies and leaving off the parm to make it vegan. I appreciate the volume of veggies in the dish, though the sauce was a touch too oily. The main issue was the cooks WAY over cooked the chickpea pasta so when they tossed it with the sauce and veggies 2/3 of the pasta had broken apart...

Look away for a second and you'll miss it but don't sleep on this hidden gem. I tried a pressed Cuban and beef empanada which are my traditional favs but I won't be playing it safe next time because now I know the quality is 100% and the menu has me excited to try something new. It all tastes homemade in all the best ways. The roasted pork in the pressed Cuban was not neat little slices, it was juicy chunks of pernil made with talent and love. I'm already desperate to come back. Parking is limited. Service was surprisingly fast. Because you don't have to reinvent the wheel. This is a very generous portion of food for the price you're gonna pay . I don't mean they go heavy on rice and light on pork. Quite the contrary you are getting your bang for your buck with this meal and if you're still hungry, you're in luck because they have an assortment of desserts that are gonna satisfy that sweet tooth almost as much as that main plate Satisfies most hungers. I grew up eating Spanish food in the south Florida so I'm particular about where I spend my money and I assure you that from my liking and taste buds this place gets it right every time . Don't be shy about simply asking for a double portion of pork if you're trying to avoid carbs and enjoy their coffee first thing in the morning as well I had a great time here I've come back multiple times and I intend to continue coming back. When you first walk in it's located on the right hand side. The staff is completely bilingual, which I think is also neat giving the area and they always offer the best customer service. It feels like you're being greeted from someone welcoming you home.
