The best ceviche I've ever had!!! Must try This place also has some of the best mojoitos

RJ, the bartender was simply amazing. He made our night. When asked what he thought was good as it was our first time there he told us his opinion and they did not disappoint.. I had the fried Pork Chunks with Mojo excellent flavor fried out perfectly, the mojo had all the right profiles, however was a tad overstated. My husband ate the Shrimp Linguine and it was simple, delicious and fresh - our food was great. We even had an order of Croquetas - this was tasty. Ambiance - one thing we did not enjoy, there was a loud guy who wore thick black glasses and those loud patterned shirts - who kept interrupting the bartender when he was trying to explain the menu, speaking over him, telling him what he missed, and offering to us the most expensive items on the menu. We did not appreciate the fact that this man has little respect for his staff and belittles them in front of guests and then tries to upsell the same guests while also sitting at the bar -- not cool. Otherwise, the atmosphere was light, music was lovely, tables well set and beers cold. I can't argue with anything else. We will be back to enjoy more dishes soon.

Menu is great!! Try Tostones Patria y Vida !! And of course the Cuban Mojito !!

Great place for Cuban food and drinks!! Highly recommended by a cuban that's love cuban cuisine!! Excellent atmosphere and outstanding service!!

I ordered the picadillo, but unfortunately it was extremely salty--to the point that I had to send it back. The team was very kind and quickly offered to replace it with a churrasco. The steak was tender, which I appreciated, but it had a noticeable fish-like taste, possibly from being cooked on the same grill as seafood. It was also a bit salty, though not as much as the picadillo. One of my guests mentioned that his ropa vieja was also somewhat salty, although not as much as mine (he even tried my dish for comparison). The owner is a very kind and friendly gentleman, and the service overall was attentive and accommodating. However, they do need to watch their salt, as it affected several dishes. With some adjustments to seasoning, this place has great potential.

It has a great view from the patio area and is a long time staple of the downtown Melbourne area. Service and staff have always been friendly and fast. It's a must try when in the area. Note: You may hear and see the commuter train pass bye a little more often and cause a little unwanted noise, but it happens so fast, I don't think it will be a problem for you.

The place is really nice. Lots of great decor, and a live stream of Key West on a TV screen that we sat near. Food was absolutely delicious. I got the Guava Jerk Sirloin. It was cooked beautifully. The sauce was absolutely delicious. The mashed potatoes were loaded and massive, and the broccoli tasted great. Couldn't finish it, so took it home! I also got the Cafe con Leche, and it was wonderful. Would come here again!

Two have chickpea as a source with the third no having a plant based source of protein in the dish. We confirmed with the server that the guacamole did not contain dairy so ordered the plantain chips and guac as an app- highly recommend. Then after having many other burgers/sandwiches on our trip I opted for the chickpea pasta with veggies and leaving off the parm to make it vegan. I appreciate the volume of veggies in the dish, though the sauce was a touch too oily. The main issue was the cooks WAY over cooked the chickpea pasta so when they tossed it with the sauce and veggies 2/3 of the pasta had broken apart...

It was perfection from beginning to end. From the friendly staff to the feel of sitting in a small cafe in Cuba, it was an experience to remember. Let's talk about the food. I had my third Cuban in three days and this one was easily the best and most authentic. The plantains with mojo criollo were incredible. My son's steak came with the most delicious dipping sauce that made parsley taste like far more than a garnish on the side of a plate. The side salads were so fresh and had the most wonderful pickled onions on top. My other son had salmon that was perfectly cooked and came with a side of quinoa like I've never tasted before. I had the absolute best mojito I have ever had, and to top off the meal I had a beautiful cafe con lèche that was perfection in a cup. This is most definitely a hidden gem. Seek it out if you are in the area. You will not be disappointed. Your tastebuds will thank you.

Look away for a second and you'll miss it but don't sleep on this hidden gem. I tried a pressed Cuban and beef empanada which are my traditional favs but I won't be playing it safe next time because now I know the quality is 100% and the menu has me excited to try something new. It all tastes homemade in all the best ways. The roasted pork in the pressed Cuban was not neat little slices, it was juicy chunks of pernil made with talent and love. I'm already desperate to come back. Parking is limited. Service was surprisingly fast. Food is takeout only and there are 2 picnic tables outside the gas station along with public beach access across the street.

Because you don't have to reinvent the wheel. This is a very generous portion of food for the price you're gonna pay . I don't mean they go heavy on rice and light on pork. Quite the contrary you are getting your bang for your buck with this meal and if you're still hungry, you're in luck because they have an assortment of desserts that are gonna satisfy that sweet tooth almost as much as that main plate Satisfies most hungers. I grew up eating Spanish food in the south Florida so I'm particular about where I spend my money and I assure you that from my liking and taste buds this place gets it right every time . Don't be shy about simply asking for a double portion of pork if you're trying to avoid carbs and enjoy their coffee first thing in the morning as well I had a great time here I've come back multiple times and I intend to continue coming back. When you first walk in it's located on the right hand side. The staff is completely bilingual, which I think is also neat giving the area and they always offer the best customer service. It feels like you're being greeted from someone welcoming you home.
