Each long waiting visit for fixing flats resulted in my Toyota wheel emblems dissapearing...they couldnt find those either...I will NECER go back after many years as a customer...

Each time, the office person was business-like - no wasted time, because they're busy and so am I - but still welcoming. Each time, the guys doing the tire work were efficient. I thought, on the first occasion, I would need to buy two tires; the tire man pointed out that the tire was quite readily repairable, so we did that and saved me a lot of money. They also made sure to check the tire pressure on my other tires as well as the spare tire. I am highly satisfied with this Garcia Tires shop.

Took it to Garcia tires in Santa Fe and they charged me for Rotation again! The reason I know is one of the tires had a leak and dent on the rim. And it stayed in place.. and the sensor on the vehicle shows me which tire has low pressure. So They didn't bother to rotate them twice but still charged me. Also they didn't not correctly change my oil filter it puked all over my motor while driving away. Waste of time and money and they don't have the knowledge. They literally told me they had to google it online to figure how to change the oil filter and reset the vehicles warning lights... I now change my own oil and only take my vehicle to be aligned and balanced in a different PROFESSIONAL shop. To top it off I sat in their lobby for an hour and a half while googled how to work on my car I was only one of two customers in there the whole time. All they did was change the oil! $80 + I change it myself now at $35

Incredibly rude front desk person (x 2), one year later…read more I stepped in to ask for a quote on an older van. I had researched rebuild costs, shipped with strong warranties. Around 2,400.$ from 3 national remanufacturers with a good reputation. And it is generally agreed in US user groups for this model install costs are between $800-1200. There was a man casually seated while another, standing, was engaged in friendly banter that lasted some minutes. From my seat when the service man was alone and the asked how he could help me, I explained I needed a rebuild trans quote, labor and materials, and the cite the year, make and model of the vehicle along with the specific trans model #. After some minutes at his PC monitor, his head rises from his monitor gaze, he looks at me, and says "$7200". Knowing that 2,400. is the base fee I wonder how, what is less than a days labor, can create an added sum of $4,800. Understanding there are a few variables, such as different supplier, core charges..but little else..I am utterly surprised. I then reply cooly that the rebuilt trans generally (shipped) is around $2,400. He then says "So you can replace the transmission" without pause, and with full confidence in his voice and words. I reply calmly "Thank-you", then walk to the shop actually in front on DP Road, where i have had prior small repairs done. matter-of-fact owner. I then reexplain my needs, providing the same detailed information as before. The owner says he will text me a quote, which I receive within 15 minutes. Detailed materials, labor, total cost and warranty. $5,800. Please do not forget the other shops in town who are competitive and care if they offend or alienate possible customers, without provocation. These guys are hustlers and swindlers. Napa, RPM, Immaculate Auto, Hermans, LA Auto, Expert Auto Solutions, Preventech - try them if in need..spend your money where you wont be thieved and overcharged, while contemptuous of your being. *Note. Ran into a friend after writing this, and shared my experience. He had been overcharged, and upsold on uneccesary services there he said, and would never return. And he has lived here for decades. And after speaking with another shop, in business 40 years, he conspicuously omitted Auto Doc for any projects.

On my first trip there, they said they had four tires for my car. Once they had the car up and my old tires off, they said they didn't have four tires. So they put two on. Shortly after, my old tire blew. I went back for the remaining two, and once again, although on the phone they said ten of my tires were in stock, they couldn't find them in after I waited 2 hours. They finally found tires, and installed them. About a dozen employees were around but only one or two of them barely working on the cars in line for tires. After I paid, I realized they didn't put my spare back but left it out in the shop. No one would take responsibility for having done the work on my car. It was a mess and took about 4 hours. This all has been a tremendous waste of time- it's well worth going somewhere else.

Clint was impatient and rude when answering my questions over the phone, and I hung up feeling like I had wasted his time. It was awful. Perhaps he was just having a bad day, but that certainly does not justify how he treated me. We had a car with a frozen differential in Los Alamos and needed to put it on a flatbed trailer…read more AAA couldn't help us because the didn't have a lift two truck, so they referred us to a couple of other companies, that also couldn't help us, but one of them gave us Mino & Greg's Automotive's names, but didn't know the number. When I called them, they were willing to help and called a driver, Louise, who came up, sized up the situation, and used the lifting the back of his flatbed to left the rear of the 67 Mustang and then backed it up onto the flatbed and centered it perfectly. He was a real pro and really saved our bacon. I strongly recommend these folks. They will help you even when everyone else turns you down.

They kept missing problems and when I found that my coolant was leaking they looked at it for 5 seconds and said matter of factly that it was the radiator. So they replaced that for $500 and that ended up being a complete misdiagnosis because it was a head gasket the whole time. Due to their mistakes I had to drive a completely broken car from Los Alamos to New York. I had to fill up the radiator with coolant every two hours so it didn't overheat and constantly worrying that I wouldn't make it back. It was a nightmare and the car costs more to fix now than it's worth.
