Fried chicken and pork fried rice
Eli M.

All the food we ordered were delicious and still the same from 2000's. We ordered lunch specials with pork fried rice, shrimp w/lobster sauce, chicken Szechuan, beef steak and peppers, and their best fried chicken. Service was quick.

The Chinese food here is good. It's not like the best but it dose the job of getting food when your craving Chinese. Heads up the place only takes cash and it's not just a Chinese food place but also a bar & lounge.

a bottle of beer sitting on a bar

This is my type of Asian Fusion. Fuse a Chinese food delivery spot with a local dive bar and you get Henry Wok. I had to see it to believe it. It is exactly as advertised. They had the local games on the multiple TV's by the bar and had a jukebox blasting oldies. In the back where you might see a dartboard or bathroom in any other type bar...is a full Chinese food counter and kitchen like you would see on the block. They had no issues me ordering some soup and some chicken and having a beer while I waited. The beer was a little pricey, but the Chinese was above average for what I was expecting.

OLD AND MUSHY SHRIMP AND BROCCOLI!

What happened to this establishment they're food used to be so good and taste so fresh. I gave it a one star simply because they're one of the only Chinese restaurants who accept credit cards. My broccoli and mushroom one mushy. It was old and I could not eat it.

Great price, service and quality. I called ahead and the total take out time was about 10 min for 4 items.

It was a full afternoon of food and drinks, and the kind of event where a lot of moving pieces have to come together for it to actually work. JP was the reason it worked. What stood out most wasn't the drinks. It was the kids. There were a lot of them, running around, excited, in the middle of everything. JP knew every single one of them by name before the afternoon was half over. Not in a performative way. He just made a point to learn who they were and made them feel like they belonged there as much as anyone else. He was checking in on them, getting them what they needed, keeping them engaged. Parents noticed. Everyone noticed. Beyond the kids, he was everywhere. Anticipating what people needed before they asked. Moving fast without ever seeming rushed. Making sure nobody was waiting, nobody was forgotten, and everybody was having a good time. The food, the drinks, the whole flow of the afternoon, it all ran smoothly because JP was paying attention to all of it. My sister-in-law's celebration was exactly what it was supposed to be. A big part of that is JP. If you are booking an event here, request him specifically. You will not regret it.

Honestly, I don't know what piece of rubbery crap I'm eating here!…read more Honestly, I was trying to make new cool friends around me at this bar while watching the World Cup and I was kicked out in front of everybody by this big blck security guard with the strong beard in a very embarrassing way (RIGHT AFTER I JUST BOUGHT 20$ worth of this rubbery, plastic bread crap where I can't even chew the bread, I'm being very honest) just because I did bring a drink to the bar. Yes, it's my fault, yes I did. It was a mistake. Instead of kicking me out, they should have just asked me to throw it away or put it away in my bag instead of pushing me out so drastically, so inhumanely, so embarrassingly in front of people in the middle of enjoying a game. People literally get kicked out of the bar for brawling if they're causing fights. I wasn't doing any of that. My food just literally arrived on the table, when we were trying to have fun watching the world cup and for heaven's sake, I really did buy such an expensive amount of something from the bar! It's not like I wasn't buying anything! And the guard even peered over my husband's shoulder extremely closely while my husband was trying to pack away the food. Even the other bartender/waiter who just served me food wanted to steal away my ketchup sauce (this stingy, really??) just because we were being kicked out. My husband has a sickness, his movements are slow, so when the guard had to be so close to us to intimidate us (instead of giving us some space to pack) that really incensed me, so I said to him, "My husband has a sickness! WAIT A MINUTE AND BACK OFF!" This huge guard got his ego hurt, he trailed us to the streets, he wanted to fight but was too afraid to do anything when he saw many policemen just at the corner, and I don't know what got into me but I spouted and yelled at him, "Man, this is my ONLY time to have fun in America and you spoiled it!! GO FUCK YOURSELF!! AND DON"T FORGET TO FAP YOURSELF WHILE THINKING ABOUT ME!!" And I spouted more and drew a lot of attention. He looked really embarrassed, powerless and retreated back. He didn't know who he was messing with. And I can tell anybody who witnessed this including the cops were on my side. :) America has turned into a really mean state. People simply just can't have fun anymore or at least be treated justly and with some respect. Everybody is there to make money and rob you, then kick you out immediately without enjoying the time eating there. I could have put away the drink so easily, and on top of that, I did just bought some expensive something from there!! DON"T come to this inhumane bar (that's always completely empty anyway except for World Cup days).

They were playing country music and the bar area was pretty much almost full. I was quickly greeted by the bartender who was a very nice lady, and she immediately took my order of mozzarella sticks to go. The price was reasonable however I did not know that I would be charged a dollar (technology) fee to use my credit card, but maybe it was an oversight by me. The food did not take long to be ready and in less than 10 minutes I was back out the door. The mozzarella sticks were good. You got about six of them, marinara sauce and they were tasty. When I first saw the amount, I got nervous, but I'm glad that they tasted good. They were just the right temperature and the marinara sauce was good as well. If you're in the area, and need a quick bite this may be your spot. By the way, parking is trash in the area so good luck with that.

If you want 1) the staff to be socializing instead of waiting you 2) to dine with dogs indoors,…read moresitting right at the bar and 3) eat subpar food, come here. Bartender on multiple occasions was having conversations with other staff and even left the bar for an extensive period. I got wings that tasted bad, and weren't crispy despite my instruction. How doe you mess up wings? Maybe they got dog urine in the food and of course when you're too busy chit-chatting you're not going to put in the order correctly. Lastly, when I told the bartender about the dog, she just ignored me. Clearly, having dogs inside this establishment serving food is commonplace.

On a Saturday evening there was quite a long wait for the patio but the 3 picnic tables outside were free and clear...perfect! It was served with plantain chips and great for a hotter night app. For my main, I got the Grain Bowl. So good, so filling and I had plenty left over for lunch the next day. It had quinoa, tofu, chickpeas, yams, and a green goddess dressing. This will officially be added to the rotation of lunch/dinner spot. Cannot wait to come back.

Great views of NYC, especially from the outdoor seats. We sat in the dining room, and the service was likely a bit off because of the large crowds and people visiting to watch the FIFA world cup soccer games. While the service was less than 100%, the breezed short ribs were amazing! If I lived in the area, I think I could order those short ribs everyday. Pricing is very reasonable for the area, even with the "included gratuity" of 18% that they threw on the bill, probably because of all the international travelers coming into watch soccer. I understood this was something they probably had to do specifically during the world cup. We paid about $70 per person all in, we were drinking soft drinks, so the bar can push the total bill much higher very quickly. Overall, I would certainly return to this restaurant for great views, amazing food, and a reasonable value.
