    Great bar vibes
    Brian M.

Stoped by here for a drink. I love the feel it's a great little bar with very well priced drinks. The bartender is very friendly and up beat. We didn't t order food but they have the basics. The walls give you so much to take in. You can read them for hours. I'd love to come back on another occasion. Go have a drink it's nice to see

This place ain't fancy, but it will get you drunk on the cheap. Lucky 7 is a popular neighborhood bar where locals of all ages come for $4 shots and vodka cocktails. The decor? Straight dive bar. They have darts in the back, a digital jukebox, and sometimes a live DJ on the weekends to add a little energy. They have limited table seating and ample bar seating. The only thing that isn't so awesome is when people Bogart the tables and prevent people who want to order food from sitting. While were on the topic of food, it's actually great! The Philly Cheese steaks are wild delicious and drenched in cheese sauce, and the wings are awesome. They also serve the wings with a ton of different flavor sauces so if you are. Wings addict like I am, then you will be in heaven. The bartenders are cool and get the orders right. There was a cute female bartender here that is always helpful and on top of things but I forgot her name. Shout out to you. You don't come here for a date, you come here with friends to get drunk quick and make some new friends in the process. Correction, you can come here for a date as long as you open with a bunch of cheap fireball shots to dull their senses of the college bar vibe going on. Hands down, this is one of my favorites bars in the area. Ps: They're voicemail says they are closed, but they are actually open with outdoor seating as of this review on July 15, 2020

PROS: Seems to be a quant bar. a little spacious from what I gathered and the crowd was decent. The best part was the bouncer, very chill guy and we were able to socialize with him a lot CONS: Nothing exciting about this bar. Other bars have games, live music, restaurant areas, but this one just seemed to be plain OVERALL: If you're in the neighborhood I would come here but if you're planning a trip down, there are other bars that would be on my list

Tucked into the Financial District, this spot blends old New York history with some of the best cocktails in the city--and it's easy to see why it's been named "World's Best Bar" more than once. The name itself has a wild backstory, inspired by a notorious 19th-century Irish-American gang from Five Points. It adds a layer of character to the place, but what really keeps people coming back is the atmosphere and the drinks. The space is split into two levels: a two lively, sawdust-floored Taprooms downstairs and a more refined Parlor upstairs if you're in the mood for a quieter, cocktail-focused experience. Drinks are the real highlight here. The Irish Coffee is widely considered one of the best in the world--rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced with whiskey, coffee, and fresh cream. They also get creative with variations like a frozen version and even an Irish Coffee martini. If you want something different, the "Act Naturally" is a standout, mixing Irish whiskey with Guinness and fig in a way that works. Food is just as impressive for a bar. The lobster deviled eggs (topped with caviar) are a must-try, and the menu leans into elevated comfort food. Overall, The Dead Rabbit nails the balance between historic charm and modern cocktail excellence. The D.R. is one of those places that is never boring and consistently delivers.

Surrounding TVs keep every play, fight and miracle replayed in glorious surround-sass while wooden tables beg for pitchers, pretzels and conspiracy theories about the ref. Whether you're upstairs for the 3rd floor vibe, mid-level for the perfect sightline, or down in the cozy den with the best acoustics, this is New York sports bar energy: loud, a little brazen, impossibly welcoming. One particular bartender, Delaney not only brings an awesome level of energy to the bar, she saunters in like a halftime show -- a grin that's equal parts mischief and welcome. She's all quick elbows and quicker comebacks, the kind of bartender who remembers your name, your drink, and that one ridiculous story you told months ago. Her laugh is loud, her wink is devious, and she has a way of making first-timers feel like regulars by the second round. Behind the wooden bar she's choreography: expert pours, theatrical muddles, and a flourish that makes every order feel curated. We wanted to have after-dinner cocktails in a chill space, so we searched on our phones & saw Paradise Lost address via Google. We proceeded to walk down & was unable to find the establishment due to their being no front sign. After walking back & forth a few times, we saw another group walking towards the door & they confirmed the place. We walked inside the front door pressed a "doorbell" & lo & behold we gained entry after the previous group went inside. Definitely an incognito entrance. Once inside that door there is someone to greet you, & take your information. There is a forest/ grass/ jungle-looking foyer/ hallway we walked down to get to the next door. Before we knew it, we were near the "Paradise Lost No Vacancy" neon sign w/ an arrow pointing towards the snake-shaped knob door. It gets opened & a supercool speakeasy awaits.... Paradise Lost has mixed style table / seating arrangements throughout the place. A bar seating section, booth-style seating area, lounge- style seating area, etc. We got there a little after 7pm, so the afterwork crowd was in full swing. Paradise Lost has interesting atmosphere. At times a Gothic / Medieval Vibe, meets place w/ shipwreck decor, meets eleganct /club vibe w/ beautiful ceiling lighting, etc. Music played in the background. Staff are friendly, energetic, & attentive. We were pleasantly overwhelmed w/ the vast selection of tiki cocktails that were on the menu. Paradise Lost also have an intimate selection of snacks/ food menu items. This included Popcorn, Tater Tots, Devilled Eggs Rangoon Dip, etc. We ordered some cocktails served in unique tiki mugs & a bucket of popcorn to munch on w/ our drinks. The popcorn is flavored w/ Sea Buckthorn & Browm Butter, which gave it an special flavor profile. Our cocktails were well-prepared & nice & strong. Paradise Lost has individual unisex bathroom stalls & a communal vanity & sink area. The bathroom stalls have spooky voices coming from a speaker as you use the bathroom. I was so humorously taken aback, it had me laughing when I came out...Definitely a different thing to experience in the bathroom - lol. Before we left we watched one of the bartenders do a cocktail "fire" presentation for some patrons in a booth seated area. Wow.... Paradise Lost accepts walk-ins only, no reservations. Paradise Lost accepts groups of 8 or less, unless you are requesting to book the space for a private event. Ages 21+ paradiselost.nyc @paradiselostnyc Paradise Lost is open everyday - 5pm-2am.
