The steak was cooked perfectly and cakes were bomb! My son had the Eggs Benedict with hash-browns extra crispy. He devoured it! Our Buddy had the southern breakfast with biscuits and gravy. A third plate devoured. The restaurant probably seats close to 40, but it was packed all morning and several local are showing up for take out. I brought my son here on his 17th bday for a little time together. I was torn between a couple things I usually get, so I tried something new. I have never had a meal here I didn't enjoy. Unfortunately, I can't say I would order the hot honey chicken again. The biscuit was dry and crumbly. I had to use a fork and a knife to eat it. It was just unbelievably dry. What a great spot, my biggest issue was trying to figure out what to order. I looked around the café & everything looked good from breakfast to dinner plates on other customers tables. I was torn until my wife said we can come back for breakfast before we leave the area- LOL. We were seated quickly, our Waitress was super friendly & helpful (and very patient). I went with the Taco Salad, wife did her go to (a classic burger). My Taco Salad was the BEST that I have had in a long time - very happy with my choice. We have been wanting to try Henry's since we moved up here. All the locals have been telling us to come check it out. We came here after the lunch rush on Saturday. The place was nice a clean. I love the art on the walls. The two waitresses working there were very friendly and got us seated quickly. We got our drinks quickly as well. My boys ordered fish and chips and a cheese burger with bacon. They both loved what they got. My husband got the turkey cranberry melt as a wrap and he said it was delicious. I got the Henry's dip and it was very tasty. The only suggestion I would say is to salt the fries but maybe they don't because of the older crowd that comes in. I don't know. They had salt available on the table so I just added salt. I also asked for a side of their BBQ sauce because they make it from scratch and it's absolutely delicious!! Omg....get the Plow Boy. Its huge. You can probably split it. Its a pastrami brisket sandwich. The jalapeños give it a nice little kick. It comes with a side and a pickle. From the outside, the place looks very unassuming, but once inside, you'll find a spacious dining area that is well-organized and comfortable. I was greeted by the hostess and requested a coffee to go. While she was preparing my coffee, I looked around and noticed that the food being served looked really delicious. I've lived up here most of my life, and I've never gone to Henry's so today we decided to check it out. We've always heard that it was good. This place sure gets busy. There were a lot of out-of-towners. The wait was about 20 minutes. All of the staff were nice and friendly. We didn't have to wait long for a waitress and drinks once we were seated. Our food came out relatively decent amount of time considering how busy they were. I had the chorizo and eggs with homestyle fries and biscuit and gravy. The chorizo and eggs was excellent. It was probably the best chorizo and eggs I've had at a restaurant, they make them just like how I make them at home. The homestyle fries were perfect. The biscuit and gravy was pretty decent. The biscuit is more on the dense bread side and the sausage gravy was good. My wife had the chicken fried steak and I had a bite. It was pretty good. She said everything else was great, the eggs, the hashbrowns and the pancake. Our waitress even offered us to go cups for our sodas, that scored extra points with me. All in all we had a great breakfast here and I think we will come back here sometime in the future, maybe for dinner next time. read more

I normally love this restaurant for breakfast. The usual 15 to 20 min wait (Sunday after church) is well worth it. With that being said, my last dining experience there was not so great. I LOVE their Eggs or Vegetarian Benedict. But on this day (Sunday, March 29) my eggs Benedict was presented with the hollandaise sauce covered EVERYTHING on my plate. From side to side of the plate. Hash browns and all. I couldn't get my servers attention, so I asked someone walking by for a cup. I then spooned out as much of the sauce as would fit in the cup I was given. Even though I filled up this cup, I could have used another one. After about 15 minutes our server came by and asked how our meal was. I told her about my meal being smothered in hollandaise sauce but it fell on deaf ears. I would definitely recommend asking for the sauce on the side if anyone reading this chooses to order either of the eggs Benedict dishes. read more

I took my dad on a road trip for Father's Day to see the family. On the way there we looked up a place for breakfast and saw Henry's Cafe. We were not disappointed. The BLT (they were generous on the bacon) and the onion rings were delicious! My tri tip salad was huge and there was plenty of meat. I usually dont care for most home made salsas but theirs was spot on! Most important the cooks were laughing, joking and having fun in the kitchen. I ordered the brisket and while the flavor was great, cut was with the grain- any chef or cook knows to cut against or 90 degrees to the grain. As always, the service was great. The food was delicious and plentiful! I had scrambled, eggs, bacon and hash browns. I also had a decaf coffee which was good. The service is excellent! Everyone was working efficiently and friendly. I especially appreciated seeing the women in the kitchen smiling. The space was also clean and everyone seemed comfortable. In fact, this was a weekday, mid-morning and there was a line out the door. My only concern is that I didn't know anyone used Styrofoam anymore. Unfortunately that was a big turn off for me. I worried about it leaching into my hot coffee and only drank half. Today's visit was amazing. I arrived around noon. Which was Busy and didn't have to wait long. We had breakfast and yes exactly how it should be served. The food is typical diner food, and I admit I've had better, BUT they kept my coffee hot and filled, were super nice to me, and the prices are totally fair, especially in this economy!
