We were snowed in for two weeks, when I was hit for a craving for donuts. As soon as we could get out we were going to the grocery store for some donuts when we drove by Henry's. I went inside and the cashier (baker?) was incredibly nice. Unfortunately many of the different types were sold out (it was around 3pm that I was there), although that is a good sign that they make tasty donuts if enough people come in and shop that they run out. I did pick up some glazed donuts and fell in love. They are damn tasty, melt in your mouth goodness. Way better then any grocery store donuts. I am a fan and will return. read more

I'm giving one star just because they actually had something edible. Customer was terrible. You pretty much only have the options of a chocolate bar or a maple bar. High prices for low quality donuts. Worth driving a little further for better quality donuts and probably better service. Take pride in what you sell and how you sell. Henry's is the best place to get donuts in town! They are always so fresh and their selection is great! I really like bacon maple bars and theirs is probably my favorite. Rather than them using strips of bacon, they use REAL bacon crumbles-and a lot of them! I also suggest trying their peanut butter and jelly donut. It's weird, but good and I mean come on, where else are you going to try it? I'm not a huge scone person, but their homemade blueberry scones were HUGE and they looked good-I was tempted to buy one but didn't. They also serve coffee and have an espresso machine. I've never ordered coffee there as I am picky but nice to know it's available. read more

I went there to get a couple of donuts for a morning meeting. I was seriously disappointed and walked out, going to another donut shop closer to my office instead. Why? Well, the clerk was sneezing all over the place (I was third in line) and while he turned his head, he sneezed on the box of plastic barriers they use when grabbing your donuts! Me thinks not is right!! Then he rubbed his nose with the back of his hand and started to serve the kids from the High School... No point in washing after that I suppose. The first customer tried to pay with a credit card and it took almost 7 minutes for the charge to go thru - he had his card reader hooked up to a Vonage box. So that first guy left to get cash (doubt he came back). After seeing all this, I left. Ten minutes may be okay if they were the best donuts in town, but I'll never darken Henrys Donuts door again after what I saw. read more

This is your basic donut shop, the quality doesn't match Top Pot, but it is definitely better than Safeways! They have a large selection of flavors and donut types at very good prices. This is a basic donut shop with a good basic donut selection. I often go with the old fashioned, and the cream filled donuts. The exterior is dated, but if you brave it, it's worth it. The clerks are very nice, and efficient. We always pay cash, as that's just easier. The only time I was ever disappointed was on international donut day (or whatever that holiday was called) I went there later in the evening, and their selection was almost nil. I can't blame them, though, because everyone's selection was bare bones that day. Every other time I have gone, no matter what the time, they have had a tremendous number of donuts. These people are sooo nice, I called a couple days in advance to order 12 dozen donuts....thats right 144 donuts and the people I serve them to are all senior men and some of them a little crotchety. I figured Henrys should sweeten these guys up and it did. Henry's sweetened me up in the process. I got there at 6a like I had told them and they were boxing them up warm and ready to put in my car, which they also helped me with. I love it when people own small businesses and are so genuinely happy to have you as a customer. These people made my morning go smoothly and put a smile on my face with their great attitude. What I love about this place is availability of product! You can get most everything all the time, because they are constantly making new donuts! It looks very retro, but the coffee is good, there's a nice variety of donuts & pastries, and you won't go broke buying a dozen for your meeting. Open super-early too! Completely unassuming spot with really great donuts. Take your time to look at the options and decide, even though you will feel a little rushed by the ladies working the counter. We tried the apple fritter, cinnamon sugar, lemon filled, and one other variety. They were all delicious and fresh. The donuts are not huge here, so one person can comfortably eat two. Poor service. The worker was on her cell the whole time. I ordered the $8.75 dozen and said exactly that, the worker took a box and told me to start picking. I'm really not sure what all the fuss is about. I read the great reviews thought it was a good excuse for a donut. Around 8 am I got three donuts and they were all equally disappointing. First was the chocolate glazed old fashioned chocolate donut which didn't taste like chocolate at all. There was a tiny hint of flavor but I wouldn't call it chocolate. I don't know even know what to call it. Next were 6 donut holes which were indeed light and fluffy, just lacking in flavor. Lastly I got a cream crueler? I think that's what it was. A tennis ball shaped and sized donut-thing with cream spilling over the top. Sadly, it too looked better than it tasted. It was fresh and fine, just a bit blah in my opinion. Many fond memories of Henry's at the wee hours of the morning. Donuts and coffee here are a Everett tradition I love to bestow on my friends whenever I take them up I-5 to my hometown. It's been my wake & bake spot, a place to be at 4am when I want to stretch my legs, a before work treat to surprise the office with, and an accomplice to many other excuses to enjoy a cup of coffee with a apple fritter. If you catch the maple bacon bars coming out fresh, get yourself one or maybe 6. The pb&j or cinnamon twist are close seconds for me. It's all simple, classic donut shop fare. I visited Henry's donuts this afternoon and I was deeply saddened after taking one bite of the donut I ordered. They sadly lack substance. The lady at the counter didn't understand much English but pointing seemed to help, somewhat. She put a donut I didn't want into my bag so I gave it to her and she took it from my "bare hand" and "She put it back on the tray to sell with her bare hand !" Talk about an UNHEALTHY practice. My love hate relationship with Henry's is simply that I hate that i love them so much! Call ahead for quicker service too!! I've eaten a lot of donuts in my life. Such as Dunkin donuts, Krispy Kreme, Top Pot, Daily Dozen donuts in Pike Place Market, and Voodoo Donuts in Portland. I've ate all the donuts in all the super markets and 7-11 and numerous random gas stations. The best donuts are from Henry's donuts on Broadway which is open 24/7. Their apple fritter is a life changing experience. The old fashioned donuts are mind blowing especially if you choose the lemon, vanilla cream, chocolate cream, raspberry, or plain. Each donut and bite taste different than the last bite. I'm not kidding I didn't think it was possible. They get a 10/10 for customer service and perfect donuts. I gave this place a second try and it went way better than the first time. I got regular coffee and an old-fashioned donut. It was fresh and delicious. This place, and specifically the baker, is great. I love jelly donuts. However it seems the powdered jelly donut with berry filling is a East Coast thing. I've been searching LA (yes...Los Angeles, CA) for these donuts. Why am I writing a review for a bakery in WA? A friend was headed this way and asked if Henry's sold powdered jelly donuts. They do not...BUT...because of our compelling story she made us some! My friend carried them on the plane and presented me with these rare delicacies. They tasted great, had the perfect jelly donut texture (not too dense and not too light), were powdered to perfection, and the jelly itself was good. Henry's is no frills, which is shown in their good, basic donut. I got my fav - chocolate twist. It was good, okay, but not something I would drive all the way up to Everett for. I am enamored with this place but I don't think I can survive on donuts as a main diet staple sadly. It reminds me of the donut shops of my childhood, when almost every business was an independent business. The donuts are always excellent and everyone is always really pleasant. Bonus points for being open 24 hours. If you commute super early they're actually stocked and open to take treats into work and buy your co-worker's love. Doughnuts, man! I stop in with my husband once or twice a month, and once every other month I order a dozen to share with my co-workers. The worst doughnuts (donuts) I have ever had. I ordered 2 of the Apple Fritters, 2 of the bacon maple bars and a "Berliner" (vanilla cream filled with chocolate frosting). They are out of the Berliners, so I substituted with a 3rd apple fritter. The order arrived and the three Apple Fritters were there, but the bacon maple bar was not and I instead found a simple, plain cake doughnut (not a fav). And sadly, to top the disappointment off, the Apple Fritters were the most disappointing I have ever tasted. Not only were they disgustingly doughy, they were also devoid of any actual flavoring at all. This had me the most disappointed and upset being that Apple Fritters are my favorite type of doughnut. Even Safeway or Fred Meyer makes a better doughnut than Henry's. So, I guess I will be buying my Apple Fritters from them from now on. read more

I have picked up donuts here twice for my nearby account. The people who work here are very nice and helpful. They have TONS of delicious donuts. Cake, glazed, bars, you name it, they have it. I've gone fairly early and they have always had completely full cases with so many selections. I think there are sandwich type pastries, muffins, breads, and more. My customers rave about the donuts, in particular the donut holes because they can pop a few in their mouths while they decide which regular donut to eat. They serve drip coffee & espresso drinks (from the auto machines and from an espresso maker). The prices are cheap to decent. There is plenty of parking. A win, in my book. read more
