Great environment.. first time here so I was super excited because of all the great reviews.. but unfortunately I left disappointed. I got a full set with gel polish done. The nail tech seemed inexperienced. As she was cutting my tips, she was so rushed it was flinging all over. She messed up multiple times putting on the acrylic and made it super thick. She also painted over the dust of the acrylic (they usually have me wash my hands before putting on polish when I get a full set anywhere else). There are also some uneven rigid edges under my tips that I had to try to file down when I got home. I don't like to leave bad reviews but I believe everyone should receive service with QUALITY, especially when they're paying nearly $50 for nails. read more

I have been going to this salon for SNS and Gel since 2018. I used to see Angel who was excellent. She taught me to soak the SNS in acetone as it is kinder to your nail surface than using the drill. So every time I go here for a manicure they always soak my nails first. No issues with service or the end result of my manicures. Continued to brave it through Covid because I did not want to see the owner lose her business and she had a tough time for a while. Today I made an appt for 3:00pm (which I have never went on a Sunday). I asked to begin soaking my nails...this turned into a problem.The manicurist wanted to use the nail drill frst, I told her no I soak first as I have been doing at this salon for years. She said they dont do that, they drill and then use foil to wrap each nail. Now I know she was new because I have never seen her before. I insisted on continuing with soaking the nail. She advised the recptionist that she did not want to service me. Then the receptionist said no one else there wanted to do my nails. Despite having an appt and a long time customer, this was very poor service, rude, and quite frankly a little prejudicial. I will now begin my search for a new nail salon. Keep in mind I have been going here every month for years and always tip well. Black women....all women...do not give this salon your business. To the owner: I really wish you were there to witness this...I know you would not have stood for this treatment of your customer! read more

I went in for a pedicure and gel manicure. They did both at the same time, white I was sitting in a pedicure chair. Dust all over my clothes...it was not relaxing at all and I felt rushed. Both my nails and Toes look terrible, my cuticles are not clean, my nails are uneven and they look unfinished. And finally I asked him to remove an ingrown toe nail and he didn't. It was my first time trying out this salon and I was very disappointed. I didn't feel welcomed and my nail technician hardly talked to me causing my nails to turn out terrible. I was hoping to go in for a quick fill since my regular nail salon is closed on Sundays. I'll never come back because all of my nails are different sizes, lengths and even shapes. I told him i like square but some look rounded.. Some are crooked and almost all of them are sooo thick.. I tried to tell him what I liked while he was doing my nails but he hardly said anything and I didn't want to come off annoying and rude but now I'm regretting holding my breath and can not wait until I can go get them fixed elsewhere!! read more

First time trying Herbal nails. I didn't realize they don't do traditional gel manicures, so I tried the "herbal gel" powder-type of manicure. I'm impressed how well it turned out. The front desk girl was nice and the technician who helped me was friendly too. I asked for ombre glitter (just a little gold glitter by the cuticle) and when I went to pay she said the ombre was $18. I was so shocked, because typically a design is like $5-$7 and it's the tiniest amount of extra polish for ombre. I think it would've been more professional for them to tell me it's another almost $20 before doing it when I asked, but other than that it was a good experience. read more

Worst gel fill I have ever received. The color was completely outside the lines. And when I pointed it out to the technician she told me after I washed my hands it would even out. It never did. Then after just a few days the gel started peeling. I went back and showed them. Elizabeth at the front was super sweet and accommodating but Savannah at the front was so rude. I showed her they peeled and she just told me I would have to wait 15-20 min and the same technician that gave me the manicure would fix it. I requested someone else and she was annoyed. Savannah was completely unprofessional, rude and argumentative. They finally found someone else that could fix the peeled nails, but then couldn't find my color. While I was waiting, and they tried to find the color, Elizabeth came up and again apologized. She really knows customer service. Will not return because of the poor service and Savannah's lack of professionalism. But was appreciative for Elizabeth. read more

I was honestly appalled by the receptionist open behavior and disrespect for David my nail technician as she wouldn't let him make the final decision of whom he serviced. Her shameful and open privilege to the other customer was disgusting as she sat her in a private room chummed it up and served her wine and at no time did she offer this to any of the other paying customers. This receptionist showcased if your behavior is nasty we will drop all other clients to cater to one person who is crying like a baby because they couldn't get what they wanted. To the owner of the company I believe Jason, David made me feel important too many times have another person been treated with more respect due to their nasty attitude and white privilege. He should be rewarded for standing by his morals and serving his client with honor. To the receptionist calling the manger or owner in front of a client was so unprofessional the nail technician should always have the final choice they are the bread and butter you are the help. I have been going to this location for quite some time. The only reason I gave it 1 star is because I used to enjoy coming here. Angel was my nail tech and she was fabulous! One week ago (yes I waited so I could collect my thoughts and write a fair review), I walked in to this place and had the WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! Angel was not working this day and I needed to get my nails done before leaving town. I get SNS on my nails and a standard pedicure. The women who did my pedicure was great. The male (His name is TOM) was supposed to do SNS on my nails. People..... This was not difficult at all! I already had shape of nails. All I wanted was CLEAR SNS!!!! So crazy. I showed him picture, he grabbed color, all was good. UNTIL i saw the color he was dipping and it was DARK PINK. Okay, so I kindly showed picture and asked, "Is that going to turn out transparent." He said no and proceeded to remove color. After this, all was down hill in the WORST WAY POSSIBLE. A couple of technicians looked at picture and helped to find a clear color. I identified 3 colors I thought would work. TOM kept saying NO and trying other colors. The manager had to tell TOM several times. "she said these colors will work TOM, just use one of these." Finally TOM got the hint and listened. Then said color fell on ground and some how TOM thought to blame it on me though I hadn't moved?! UGH! As manager walked away to grab another SNS powder, TOM said to me "you should come back tomorrow when Angel is here, you don't know what color you want and you are being difficult." Wait... what?! I gave you 3 options and again the color is clear?! Really buddy?? Isn't it your job to help with colors AND it was freaking clear! Angel saw same exact picture earlier in the year and didn't have a single issue! I spoke to the manager about what was said and she found another tech for me, stating "she is a better nail tech anyways." Well... I think anyone is the world would probable be better then TOM. He was obviously struggling. Again, would have been fine if he would have acted like a professional and asked for help without making the customer feel horrible. Meanwhile... TOM is talking crap about me to another client in front of my face?! I told the manager, and she stated "I know, I can hear him and I am so sorry." Nothing was done to stop him and he carried on with this unprofessional behavior. People, I am not emotional but I was so mortified, and angry, about situation I started crying?! All I wanted was for them to finish so I could leave and NEVER come back! At the end of the day, my mani and pedi turned out great. The owner was out of town and supposed to get back to me when she returned. Not only was the experience absolutely horrible, I NEVER HEARD from the owner?? How horrible is that?? Way to show you care. BE AWARE. TOM is not only horrible at his job but is completely unprofessional!!! To make matters worse, they let him work on a client after me??? Way to enable a persons horrible behavior and show me how much you DON'T GIVE A DAMN about your customers! Good luck with that... read more

Do not go to this location!!! I booked a gel manicure, they did an SNS, I did not ask for it, I had never heard of it so I did not understand what they were trying to expain it as. The powder was too thick. I went to another Herbal Nails to have it removed and go back to my gel manicure only to find out I have a fungal infection on 2 of my nails. The rotary burs from the Arcadia location are not sterilized! I went and showed them my nails, the receptionist then argued with me that I had a gel manicure, which I had requested but did not receive , would not apologized and they refused to refund me my money. Quite possibly the worst pedicure experience I've ever had and to top it off the price was the most I've paid for a basic pedicure. I asked the receptionist how long the pedicure would take and she said no more than 30-40 minutes. It took 15 minutes for me to be seated and another 15 for someone to even start working with me. The process took long for a pedicure that should be no more than an hour. In addition to the service taking long the paint job on my nails was uneven and chipped within a day and they also didn't do a good job properly trimming cuticles. If I'm paying upwards of 40 dollars I expect better quality of work. read more
