You have to help the waxer with your own service to pull your skin taut leaving your hands covered in wax.. or maybe you'll get lucky like me and your waxer will cover your finger in wax. #3: She broke so much of my hair, missed multiple spots, including my butthole, and burned me. I left the appointment slightly sore, which is very normal. It wasn't until later that night when I showered I realized I was swollen. I had strips on my vagina that were red, raised, blistered and swollen. I used some calming cream I've used for years thinking I'll go away in the morning and it didn't. I went on my trip with hair (which then caused me to shave over the wax job.. so you can guess how bad my ingrowns were) I'm not sure if this is how they're trained, what they're being taught.. I'm not sure but I won't be back, unfortunately. I'd much rather give my money to a small local business rather than a huge corp like EWC but I guess I'll continue to search.

I never expected to be missing part of my eyebrow as a result that is now not growing back and I have to consider alternatives like microblading so I can fill in the missing hair. Apparently, all of them were newly trained but clearly not well enough. They follow an instruction sheet as they are doing it. As someone who has done lamination many times, the girl who did my lamination said some questionable things during the process. For example, a vital part of lamination is the after care which I received zero information on. I would have been okay with that had my eyebrows been fine. Instead they have thinned out completely and my left is missing a part of the eyebrown that I now have to pencil in every day. It is very clear that they are doing this without solid training in the hopes that it turns out okay. Even when I went back to show them, the second girl had to follow the instruction sheet to see what might have gone wrong and seemed unsure of herself. Super disappointed that I have to now deal with the aftermath of how to get my eyebrows looking back to how they were before.

However, they were the one that turned me away due to antibiotics and told me I was not allowed to come back until I was off of them for two weeks. They told me they couldn't honor it because it was too long. I am a cosmetologist and have been in the beauty industry for almost 30 years. I would never give a gift card or offer service and then take it away due to a client being sick. That's saying like a gift card expires in a few months. I have been going to them for multiple Waxing services for months prior to this. They said that there is nothing I could do. Very disappointed because I am the type of woman that stays with a licensed professional once I find somebody I like. I will now be moving on to other options and places now. Customer service is definitely not the way it used to be. Very disappointing.

I travel about 25 mins just to get my nails done here. We all know there is a wide variety of of salons but this place is the best! All they staff is wonderful! My personal choice is acrylic. Mimi is amazing, she always helps me with selections and change and I am never disappointed! She does great work and they continue to learn and exceed my expectations when it comes to new trends and colors. I recommend them to anyone, they're pedicures are amazing as well! I love this place because they took me and a couple friends as walk-ins. They had three nail technicians to do SNS right away, and they were very attentive to our preferences. They have a bright and clean salon, and it was very clean. Most of all, my nails looked 100% spot on to what I had wanted, and my technician, Ken, did a through job of looking and inspecting my nail between each step so that my service was completed properly. I would gladly recommend anybody to this salon in this area! I will be back. read more

My nails took forever to get done, 2 hours of sitting in a chair for a simple full set. No design, just regular gel polish. Nails didn't even last two weeks, they started lifting from the base after a week and I've never had acrylics do that. Two days before I was going to go in and get them filled, they started popping off completely. Not worth $50 for a full set, you've been warned. read more

Been twice & disappointed both times…read more My first visit, I got a French tip gel manicure over my natural nails. French tip turned ok, some were filed crooked to one side, and the painted tip was crooked as well, but not the worst. I could see the nail grow out from underneath the clear pink polish because the tips were painted to far down almost immediately. Within a couple weeks, the gel polish started chipping off and my nails would crack close to the nail bed. It would snag my hair in the shower and the cracks would hurt so I had to clip my nails down super short to where there wasn't a free edge anymore (stubs). I had to start picking off the lifted parts of the gel polish so it wouldn't snag things and eventually just took off all of the polish by hand. My real nails underneath the polish suffered greatly. I gave them a few weeks off, kept them short and natural. (Also received a pedicure this visit, which seemed okay but they started to chip as well and were slightly crooked too, but not as bad) My second visit, (different tech) because I had my short natural nails (stubs), I got acrylics for a little length with French tip gel polish. Not only do they not look like the simple French tip design photo I showed, you can see the nail tip growing out from the nail bed underneath because the tips are painted on too far down towards the end of my nails. I tried to say something about having that fixed but then he would've had to completely redo the polish and some of the clear acrylic because it wasn't noticeable until painting the clear topcoat. I just don't have the time nor can my nails withstand being drilled down again. It should have been done correctly the first time. Some of the painted tips have more of an arch on one side than the other, and the white line is messy on a lot of them. You can also see the dust that was left on and painted over underneath the gel polish. I did not get to pick out the pink/clear acrylic that went underneath the polish. My cuticles were drilled over and are extra sensitive on some fingers. I did not receive any nail soaking to push my cuticles back or an arm massage this time. I'm heavily disappointed because I've paid about $75 each time plus a 20% tip on top of driving 30 minutes one way. I've had to wait weeks in between having my nails done. They were heavily damaged from the first set cracking and lifting, requiring a lot of downtime to recover despite being a healthy length prior and almost never breaking. Im familiar with proper nail care. Normally mine are in great shape, all I do is maintain a reasonable length, use gel polish, and can go up to 4 weeks between (but usually aim for 3). But they have been pretty annihilated after these two visits, weeks apart. I don't feel confident in returning and feel both visits were a waste of time and money.

Isn't gel polish usually removed by sitting wrapped in acetone and foil for a few minutes anyway? She refused to hear my concerns and insisted my nails will be okay. I came in with a manicure inspo photo (a french tip with stars over it) and my technician fussed with me the entire time I was seated for my service because SHE was not happy with the color. We reached a point where I grew uncomfortable with having to reassure her that it was what I wanted that I ended up changing colors altogether. Looking back, I'm really frustrated that I let that happen, but there is no reason I should have been driven to do that while getting my nails done. Not even a week following this appointment,my nails are thin and weak, even with a gel layer, and one of my nails is even about to rip off because of how fragile it is now. I am SO so frustrated with this salon (and myself for giving them the benefit of the doubt after this happened once before). Not sure if my nail gal was new but she didn't seem to know what she was doing. First I asked for thin white French using and powder. Didn't get that at all. I know this makes me sound bad but it's frustrating when your nail tech doesn't say much but laughs and giggles to her coworker speaking Vietnamese the whole time. So you can't help but think they're talking about you. I told her I didn't like how the other place I went to put the gel coating on thick and I didn't want that this time. But it's thick and looks more like glue than a top coat. Each nail is a diff shape and length. She cracked one and tried to fill it using the acrylic powder. She kept dipping the nails into the powder over and over. So they're too thick. She could also cut my skin as if it were the nail bed. Then in the end she asks if I liked them. I had to lie because I felt I spent more than enough time there and just didn't want to be there anymore.

This is my 4th time coming and every time, the owners are very accommodating, kind and easy to talk…read moreto. They pay close attention to the details and do it in a timely manner. I was in a time crunch and had to bring my son with me, they were very kind about it and pulled out snacks, a toy car and water for him. It was a great experience!
