I used to come here frequently and I moved to another state for a year and ended up coming back to NC so I thought I'd get my nails done for my birthday here. They used to be so good at mani pedis and up to date on every nail trend. When I came back here, staff was different so I figured maybe management changed or something. They rushed me through my manicure even though there were only 2 other clients in the salon and plenty nail techs to go around. It was the middle of the day on a Monday I believe. They half assed everything charged me $120 for a mani pedi. Their work was ridiculous. My toes looked like they were painted by a 7 year old and my finger nails looked like they already needed a fill when I left the salon. In the end they tried to convince me it looked good when the only ones who should be praising the work of a mani pedi are us - the customers. If you have to convince us, you've already done a poor enough job and don't have the will to go fix it or at least take accountability. I went back later and they said it would be $40 to fix my manicure and I walked out knowing I'd never come back. My manicure looked awful for my birthday thanks to them. I'm very disappointed knowing how good they used to be and how they're taking your money for a service that's not even close to being worth it. Don't go here. Please go to a Russian manicurist. This place is an absolute gem! I have lived in Charlotte for 25 years and have been all around town. This is by far my favorite nail salon. The staff are friendly and professional. I have never had a messed up nail in the months I have been attending. Pedicure was wonderful and my tech took her time and was very meticulous. The prices are also very reasonable. It gets busy sometimes and they try their hardest to keep the wait times down and are very honest about how long you will wait. Came in for a pedicure with regular white polish. Customer service was great. The massage during the pedicure was great. The polish had ripples in it after they were done drying so they did them over. Got home, and it was the same issue, ripples in the polish. Called and they said I could come back Monday to get them fixed since they're closed on Sunday's so I went back. They were repainted by one guy and then another guy came over and put a top coat on them that had a pink tint. FAIL...so they had to paint them over. Got home and there were specs in the paint. I don't know what the issue was why I couldn't get a flawless finish either time but I won't be returning. read more
