The other two photos were taken less than 20 minutes later after I went next door to Herbal Nail & Spa to have my nails repaired. I specifically asked for gel builder with a cat-eye gel polish before we started. I was assured they had experience with both. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. Over the course of about 1.5 hours, three different technicians worked on my nails. They attempted to apply the black polish and cat-eye effect four different times, but each attempt failed. The explanations kept changing: they didn't have the right color, didn't have the correct magnet, or simply couldn't get the cat-eye effect to work. By the end, my nails were in terrible shape. The builder gel was uneven, my nails were different lengths and shapes, my cuticles were cut up, and the black polish had stained around my nails. Instead of fixing the problem, I was told I should "find my friend or somewhere else" to do the cat-eye design because they couldn't create the effect--only a plain black finish or plain cat eye with no effects. Throughout the appointment, the technicians were discussing the issue among themselves, mostly in another language. The only phrases I understood were, "I don't know," "Only me and Ann know this," "No right magnet," and finally, "You must pay." Despite not providing the service they said they could perform, I was still charged $55 for the gel builder service. I paid and walked out. Fortunately, I walked next door to Herbal Nail & Spa, and they were able to repair the damage almost immediately. The difference speaks for itself in the photos. I understand that not every salon offers every specialty service. My frustration is that they assured me they could perform a cat-eye gel builder manicure, repeatedly struggled through the process, damaged my nails, and still charged me full price. I cannot recommend this salon based on my experience.

No big deal since there were two other techs in the building. I had my husband start his service since his feet are rougher than mine. Well, 35 minutes later and no one started my pedicure yet. I decided just to not get my pedicure. The whole point of booking together is we like to have the experience together, not be almost an hour behind the other person and now we are here for 2 hours. Extremely frustrating experience and we won't be back. Also, it seems there is no hot water hooked up to their pedicure chairs. The service started luke warm at best and got cold just 10 minutes later. The tech asked about my water before I decided to not get my pedicure and I told her it was cold, cold. She got up and came back with a boiling electric tea pot to put hot water in the basin. My husband had to wait another 10 minutes to get boiling hot water in his basin so more than half of his pedicure was done with COLD water. Completely unacceptable especially when it's $61.00 for the "ultimate" pedicure we selected. If you are looking for a professional, relaxing pedicure you WILL NOT find it here.

The tech didn't fully remove my prior manicure, just filed it down a little then painted over it. My nails were cut to uneven lengths and then filed crooked. I asked to fix it a few times before I gave up. The nail polish was applied unevenly and the tech didn't wait for the full uv cycle to finish before going to the next coat. The tech also painted far from the cuticle so it looks like I already have a week of grow out not that it's a fresh manicure. No surprise, it started peeling off two days later.

As I sit there, multiple people walked by me that worked in the shop and did not say a word. I'm sitting there for about minutes PISSSSSED! I'm the type of girl that once I find a place that gives good services repeatedly, done, I'm loyal. I go to Tracy, and I'm hesitant to say her name because I don't want her to get so popular I can't get an appointment! But she's great. Great! My Mom even requests to go see her when she's in town visiting and loves her! And we all know Moms don't lie about their experiences! Anyways, I really appreciate this salon. And sometimes a poor experience happens but shouldn't be the reason you don't give the right person a chance. Hope this helps!
