Unexpected but fantastic experience... so fun that I returned during this trip as the vibe and cocktails were on point. The store front display was a complete shocker and surprise as we didn't see this one coming at all. Hello Kitty Kitty... that's all I have to say. Once we got in, the decor alone was awesome. I felt like I was transported back to my days in China, Malaysia, and Singapore. The DJ was spinning some great hits and when we started a conversation, I realized she was doing all on 45's records (for all you young folks, go do your research!!!). DOPE!!! Reposado As far as the cocktails we had there signature "One Night Stand" Margarita with my ultimate favorite, Reposado Tequila. One of the guest on the tour wasn't a big tequila drinker (she had some good stories as to why, we all do) so she was like, "here you go friend"... And for those that didn't show up on the tour... "here you go friend again"... And you best believe that I actually came back the next evening in the mist of a busy day just to have that margarita and it hit just like the first few times. Checked this place out on Friday, party of 3, around 11:30pm ish. This speakeasy entrance is super cute, it's in like a Hello Kitty shop to the right of Fuhu in the Resorts World famous foods food court. Usually during hours of operation there's a hostess standing at the register (of the shop where they do sell real toys and trinkets. There was as 35 min wait when we approached, so we went to go eat a slice of pizza and they texted us pretty timely after that. I got the "pass the coconuts" and "safe in the city", and we had 2 other drinks (a sake and another cocktail that I can't remember). Total cost was about $139. We went on a Friday so there was a DJ playing music (mostly remixes of late 2000s stuff like Chris Brown's "Yo") Pros: - REALLY cool ambiance inside, mostly dark, but really cool East Asian decor with lots of red - not crowded, it seems like they purposely regulate the capacity so it's not overrun with people and everyone can have a seat - The cocktails were really delicious!! - Definitely felt like a speakeasy, I was shocked that we couldn't hear the music from outside of the entrance - Very cool bookshelf entrance - Really beautiful presentation of the cocktails - Definitely probably the most unique and coolest speakeasy on the strip Cons: - The music was EXTRA loud - you could feel it physically pulsing when you sat on the couch - which I typically don't mind, but we really did have to shout at each other even though we were sitting right next to each other. So this was more of a sit back and just enjoy the music kind of night - Definitely on the pricier side, but you're really paying for the experience. This is more like info to others than a review as we couldn't go in. After our dinner, we got back to the hotel around 9:30 and our party leader said to bring us to a secret bar. The store front totally surprised us as we really thought it's a store selling stuffed animals. The hint is that there's a host stand and a sign that says "please wait to be seated". Unfortunately, we are a party of 10 and the host told us that it's a small bar that probably fits 6 (?) and we had to wait maybe an hour and half before our turn. So there, we couldn't make it in. My friends and I stopped by Here Kitty Kitty Vice Den on a Monday evening around 5:20 p.m. and the bar was completely empty. Before the host at the front let us in through the hidden grocery store shelf door, they informed us that the bar requires a one drink minimum per person and split checks are not permitted. Drinks here are on the pricier side as far as cocktails on the strip. I ordered the "Lucky 13" -- "Elijah Craig small batch bourbon, Cynar, banana liquor, and Angostura bitters" ($21). Strong drinks in an Asian and cowboy speakeasy. I really like speakeasies and I've been to most of them in town. This one is located through what looks like a little store where you're able to open a bookshelf yourself to enter. I don't know if it's always like this but that was our experience. There's a little country and a little Asian in the design, and I love that fusion energy. Find the food hall, and a small Asian looking store, then push the shelving unit with a sign on it that reads "open" to slip into the intimate space. We found a cozy corner and ordered a few drinks. The moment I saw a cocktail called Te Amo Matcha, my search was over. In the low light it looked serene, but it tasted like straight up gasoline. It's described to include matcha, coconut syrup, lemon juice, and Dolin Génépy, but the mezcal bulldozed everything else. It tasted incredibly harsh and I have a hard time believing it was made correctly. The hours run surprisingly early for a speakeasy, especially in Vegas - 10pm on weekdays and midnight Fri-Sat. Prices are very high with most drinks ranging from $20-$24, and mocktails at $14, but we all know how the strip rolls. The music was very cool; some funk, hip-hop, smooth electronica, and soul. But behind the bookcase... so fun!!! We were walked in and seated at the bar. It wasn't busy at all for a Saturday, but it was earlier in the evening I should say. We chatted it up with the bartenders and learned one of our bartenders actually curated the menu. Adam was AWESOME! We ordered literally whatever he told us to. We just wanted to wake up before our show and he made up this delicious drink. I can't remember the name but it is on the menu and it's topped with Reeces and has peanut butter whiskey in it. It was delightful! There's plenty of space in here, though it is a little smaller. But good for a smaller group to enjoy some cocktails in cool speakeasy style. It's more lounge style, and then bar seating, too. When we went to leave, my husband and my future brother in law decided to take our spots at the bar haha. Another speakeasy we wanted to check out while visiting the Resorts World Casino. This speakeasy is located in the Kitty Kitty in the Famous Food area. They don't take reservations but they will put you on a wait list can text when your table is available. The told us about 30 minutes but after about 5 minutes we got a text that our table was ready (we visited on a Friday night). This speakeasy is quaint and has an interesting decor. The drink menu is quite large with a hugh selection of spirits and cocktails. They also have several Mocktails available. The staff was friendly and attentive and over head music selection good (it looked like a live DJ was setting up to perform at 9pm when we were inside). My best friend was telling me how she wanted to take me to this speakeasy bar in Resorts World after our dinner at Crossroads Kitchen LV. This speakeasy was located in the dining hall and we went on New Years Day. We did not have reservations and I would recommend valeting at the Casino Entrance so you're close! We walked in an the place is so cool! Chinese/Asian decor and the place isn't super big so I can imagine on a weekend day why reservations would be needed, we just got lucky. Our bartender's name was Adam and I loved his humor, knowledge, and craft. We had great banter, I talked to him about tequila and vodka. I was VERY happy to see thay they carry Meili vodka (the best vodka in my opinion). Adam showed me a tequila he was digging called Irlandes tequila and even gave me a sample and the backstory of the brand! I ordered the Te Amo Matcha and my friend ordered a non-alcoholic matcha latte type beverage. This was in the Hilton Resort World Food Court from where I stayed back in October. If you like secrets and you enjoy discovering new places, then this speakeasy is for you. A host/hostess will greet you and ask you if you are dining in but if you say the secret code then they'll lead you to a secret bar tucked behind the restaurant. It's pretty cool! The interior is very dimly lit with soft red lights. I think it sets the mood because it's cool and not abrasive like a night club bar, sports bar, ect. I got a drink that was Hennessy Based. Unfortunately I did not take a picture of the menu but it was very enjoyable and I honestly liked that our bartender was conversing with us as he makes the drinks and overall friendly. A fun speakeasy located inside of Resorts World. We didn't have a reservation, but were able to enter as a walk in. A hostess greets you out front and walks you to your table. The interior is cozy and dark with lots of decorations and soft lights. Their menu is full of creative drinks as well as a couple mocktails. We went in February and they had their winter/holiday drinks as well as some special month of love/February drinks. It was fun seeing some of their drinks glowing. The Walk of Shame was strong and had a good mix of flavors, but the In Case You're In Love tasted like there was almost no alcohol content in it. It tasted very good and we were told that they're thinking about adding it to their regular menu because of its popularity. However, there was seemingly very little alcohol in it based on taste and how we felt after the drinks.
