Thank goodness there was a Better Alternative!!! I spoke with Sebastian who was bilingual and local in a US call center I asked if he spoken English and with a half second with clear understanding he confirmed that he spoke English. I explained to him my friends' last minute problem at greyhound. 1. He acknowledged the situation immediately and put me on hold. He came back with Clear Cut instructions and information from his direct supervisor of what Tufesa would do for the passenger. 2. I was able to merger the calls and he calmed the passenger distress with his voice with clear instructions of location and direction. Explaining where the station was and it gave him time to get to the station on 27th avenue. 3. Sebastian confirmed his ticket purchase text and said that Tufesa had plenty of room for him and other passengers. That was probably the greatest experience I've have seen of a competitor bus company. The service was clean and easy and I appreciate your empathy towards the people you serve as a service company! Give Tufesa a try when traveling abroad and remember this experience will help others know that there are alternatives other than the greyhound. At the time of purchase I selected seats 13, 14, 15 and 16 so my daughters and I could sit together, including one minor passenger. We arrived at the Phoenix terminal about two hours before departure, and at the ticket window staff confirmed that our QR codes were valid for boarding. However, when boarding began, we were suddenly told that our names were not on the passenger list. We were sent back to the ticket window even though we showed: * QR tickets * payment receipt * confirmation purchased weeks earlier We were left standing over 30 minutes while the bus was preparing to leave. During this time, an employee who identified herself only as "Alejandra" or "Alejandrina" behaved in a very rude and dismissive manner, blaming us for purchasing tickets through the mobile app and refusing to provide her full name when asked. While we were still at the terminal trying to resolve the issue, we suddenly received a notification in the system showing different seat numbers (31, 34, 27, 38) instead of the seats we originally purchased. This clearly indicates that our original seats were reassigned at the last minute. We were then forced to board with separate seats at the back of the bus, even after explaining that one passenger was a minor who needed to sit with a parent. This situation raises serious concerns regarding: * confirmed tickets not being honored * possible seat resale or overbooking * extremely poor customer service at the Phoenix location * lack of accountability from staff I have documented the incident with screenshots of the payment receipt, ticket folios, and seat reassignment, and I have submitted a formal complaint. I hope the company reviews what happened at the Phoenix terminal and ensures that confirmed reservations are respected in the future.

You can not beat the light rail especially for a D-Backs game. If you are going to a baseball game it dumps you off right at the stadium. I also take it for the Symphony, First Fridays, and any event I have in Phx. No expensive parking garage fees needed. It is an experience. Free entertainment and people watching for sure. If you are seeing a concert at the old America West Arena, AKA, the stadium that changes it's name too frequently for Mary to remember what it is today, the Light Rail will be free with your paid ticket. ( or at least it is as of the writing of this review. So if you are reading this much after 2018 please double check on that because they used to do the baseball stadium and then they stopped) I am patiently awaiting the Light Rail to continue to Westgate and the Cardinal's Stadium. ( I do know the name of that one today it is State Farm arena-hahahaha) I work there part time and employees have a huge Rigaramo with parking and just getting to and from work. The Light Rail would be a blessing in and out of the stadium, increase work turnover rates, and of course be great for fans too. It now takes over an hour to get out of there.

We waited in the heat until we just decided to walk to Chase Field. By the time we arrived, we were hot, thirsty, and miserable, and a train never passed by us, so one never came. Finding the train to return home was equally a huge pain! So we hadn't used the light rail again until yesterday to get to Chase Field on the 4th of July. We thought Valley Metro might have fixed this transportation catastrophe. They did not. In fact, it was worse! Valley Metro claims we could "enjoy the 8-minute walk" to Chase Field. Once again, no second train came, so we walked .8 miles in the blazing heat for 20 minutes (I checked my GPS to get an accurate distance and time)!! When trying to return home, we had to walk back to Central and had no idea which train would take us back. Valley Metro has ruined what originally was a good transportation option to downtown, but no longer. If anyone is elderly, has a disability, health issues, or trouble walking, avoid this mess! If you drive, take an Uber or a taxi, or even ride a horse, you will be happier if you need to go to an event downtown. Valley Metro should be ashamed of what they have done to what used to be good transportation.

I have it at three stars because it's more of an annoyance and there should be a different way of doing it, and thats checking to ensure everyone has paid on the light rail. on average i get checked 3-4 times just in the morning on the B line and sometimes by the same person and sometimes they see me scan my phone at the little kiosk. I understand the need to check but come on. There should be a way better implementation. also it creates a safety hazard when the train starts to move. Idk about every one else but thats my two cents. and one more thing for the buses, hold onto a chair because they brake hard, at least on the ones I take.

The Downtown Phoenix Hub is the transfer point between the A and B lines. The B line is the north-south line that opened in 2025. The hub itself is located on the block formed by Central Avenue, 1st Avenue, Jefferson Street and Washington Street. To jump from the A line to the B line and back, you have to get off the light rail train that you are riding on when it stops at this hub. Then walk across the street to the station of the other line that you are wanting to go on. The first time that I tried switching trains, I was so confused. But I eventually figured it out. Both CityScape and the Suns Arena are nearby. I don't ride the Valley Metro often. But I am glad that I have it as an option for transportation. I mostly ride the light rail to sporting events and to the airport to avoid parking fees.

We've dealt with the construction, disruption, road closures and dust in our nearby neighborhoods on the trail of the light rail and it's now over. The ride is sweet and complete! It us really nice. The work was done well and the street us nice newly paved and landscaped. The public art for each station designed by local artists or kids. This station is out by Fry's and for the life of me i do no understand the artwork that they here. It is good to have some public transportation close to our home which is fast and reliable. A wonderfully green alternative to driving and parking. It's now nice to be on the trail if the light rail!

The Blue Line WAS great because I could pick it up just outside my home near Squaw Peak and ride it through the Camelback corridor, down Central to downtown. Without a transfer. That's all changed with light rail. Instead of proceeding down Central to downtown, the line's new southern terminus is Central and Camelback, a fortuitous endpoint for Sweet Tomatoes & Applebees' afficionados but not so great for citizenry with taste. Or places to go. Like, uh, me. Now I trudge off the bus, sneer at Applebee's and get my cancerous tan waiting for ostensibly convenient light rail to venture downtown. It's worse coming back, timing the transfer, cuz the bus back to my house only runs every half hour. This "new improved" Blue Line (they now call it the 39, presumably for the extra minutes they've tacked onto my trip) is makin' me blue. On second thought, maybe I'll just hop in the car :- (
