Ordered for pick up via online for work breakfast. I got their southwest wrap and added turkey mushrooms grilled onions and peppers to it. It was huge and delicious and had guacamole in it. I paid no more than six for the wrap. They even called me to confirm that I wanted turkey in it because I marked sausage, so they'd charge me for the turkey, and wrote turkey instead of sausage in the notes. It was so nice of them, and such an incredible service move. This place is a local place and I think family owned. It was my first time there and certainly won't be my last. The interior is small but so cute: they have a display of all their salads such as pasta salad and potato salad in a display case next to the register, and a coffee station against another wall near the entrance with soft and tasty looking pastries. Needed lunch while I was out shopping and this place was nearby. It took a little longer to get my Cobb salad than I thought it would but it was worth it! This was by far the best Cobb salad EVER!! I stopped in here for a breakfast sandwich after a hike in the nearby state park. I was amazed to find that the sandwiches were only $1.75 before 10am! We got a ham and egg whites sandwich and then a sausage, egg and cheese sandwich. The sausage was really good, I think it added a good flavor. The egg white sandwich was good, but honestly didn't have enough egg and meat for the amount of bread compared to the sausage sandwich. But it was good and definitely great for the price! For $2.99 I got a cheesesteak on a roll and it was really good for the price. As I was filling up my coffee cup the flavor brew was empty. They promptly replaced it and I was able to continue on with filling up my cup. The coffee was just okay, but I was in a rush and couldn't go anywhere else. A large coffee, breakfast sandwich, and a bag of chips cost me $8. Which is reasonable when you account for the $3 bag of chips. read more

Had the veggie burger, and I am deducting a star because I had asked for lettuce onion and tomatoes with my veggie burger but she forgot the onions! We didn't dare ask her for the things she had forgotten! That poor girl was really over-worked and barely keeping pace! Then the 3rd star is deducted because of the seriously dirty bathrooms! Great sandiwiches. The lady that rings you out is insanely rude. Basically acts like you are bothering her. I still gave 5 stars because the recipes will outlast a terrible employee. Maybe management should start paying attention. And if she is management or family, they need to have an intervention. I still go there because it's actually a little comical how terrible she is. The food is excellent and the prices are just right - even a little low, perhaps. The staff is unbelievably hard-working - maybe overworked. They are dedicated to their jobs. I think an additional worker would be a good idea, especially during 'rush' hours. I would - and do - recommend this deli to my friends. It is the best deal in town. Great local joint that goes beyond your typical deli. They have a great selection of unique sandwiches, as well as grinders and hamburgers. There's always a good lunch crowd and you can't beat their early bird special (great breakfast sandwich for only $1.50). They have the same menu everyday, need to change it up every now and again. I have been there at 9 o'clock in the morning and they have been out of hazelnut coffee and when I asked if they were going to make more the woman behind the register said no. I have had colleagues tell me that they are overcharged. The woman at the register is very rude and never smiles ... Went to Heritage Deli for lunch today. Will not go back ! The staff need to attend customer service class. An elderly gentlemen and lady had ordered their food and used the rest rooms. Ok, here's the deal. The food here is absolutely amazing, I have NEVER been disappointed in it. I am only giving 3 stars because the people behind the counter are extremely rude and the bathrooms are extremely dirty. When I walk into a restaurant I want to be greeted with a smile or at the very least at least say hello to me. And when I leave, couldn't they at least say thank you. My goodness, what is so difficult with giving good customer service. Every time I have been there I walk up to the counter and the little girls simply have their pads out to write my order down. they don't say a word. As for the bathrooms, well lets just put it this way....wash your hands before you go in there.
