They send you off to get work done at their recommended endo and when you come back to finish the work they try to charge you 3 times the amount for work done than what the insurance co pay is. They are crooks and want to take advantage cause they put you in a position where you need work done right away.. I had a root canal done about 10 months ago at Heritage Fontana. The endodontist was very rude and disrespectful during my procedure. After a few months I started feeling pain on the left side of face. I went to another endodontist and was told that my root canal had to be redone because it was done incorrectly. ive been going to this dentist for practically my entire life (i am now 25) and today was probably one of the best experiences ive had so far. i had a dental cleaning and a filling done and Dr. Rivera was so gentle handed, he checked on me every 5-7 minutes and asked if i was okay. i normally feel a lot of pain during my cleanings because my teeth are so sensitive, but Dr. Rivera went slow and applied very light pressure. i have always hated going to the dentist because it's always uncomfortable & painful, but this was the first time i didn't hate it! thank you Dr. Rivera for being so considerate and making me feel comfortable! i think he is a great fit for this practice. also all the receptionists & techs here are super friendly and welcoming! read more

Horrible dentist. I went in for a deep cleaning the dentist numb me but it was the most painful experience she didn't even numb me correctly because I could still feel pain. That's not even the worse part when she was almost done with the work she decided to stop and go do a crown on another patient the assistant told me that she was almost done and that she will be right back in 10 minutes I waited in the chair for over 30 minutes blood still coming out and all. Imma be honest, the office itself is nice, somewhat clean; but the front desk is terrible. Unprofessional girls in the front talking about their eyelashes and laughing like hyenas getting annoyed when they are asked questions from the back staff and the manager just seems like a bitch tbh. Don't come here they will schedule you an appointment and have you Waite over an hour and tell you they need to reschedule because the dentist is running behind with other patients and won't be able to see you . I should have read their reviews before coming here. first they take an impression for a crown and charge me $600 then when i come back they tell me my dentist changed, these young unprofessional girls working there talkinng about their lashes ans weekends the whole time. then they tell me the crown doesnt fit, they dont take ownership for thier mistake and have the odacity to blame it on me "ur teeth may have shifted" then they take another impression (im already leaving work early for these visits and paying my babysitter to stay later) they take another impression and of course it doesnt come out right so the dentist takes it and looks up and says this should b ok and better, mind u she gave me one shot in an area unrelated to my tooth so i felt everything and was in so much pain. she offered to give me another shot but i did not trust their work. 2 weeks later they call me in for my permanent crown AGAIN AND of course if doesnt fit. the dentist says we need yet another impression and at this point i was not confident nor comfortable in their services and asked for my money back respectfully. the dentist apologized and said i understand your frustration ill have you speak to the financial advisor. only to get the "financial advisor" to give me the worst attitude putting blame on me that my "gums were bleeding" ummm hello this is a dental office i didnt know they didnt care about their patients and dont take ownership for thier mistakes. she point blank rolled her eyes ans said she couldnt give me a refund but they could take another impreasion to which i replied "will u guarantee it will be right this time" and she remained quiet and said we cant refund you. she didnt even try coming up with options or a solution. this place is a joke and basically ate my $600 without providing the service and clearly need to be re trained because they have no idea what they are doing. the worst experience i have ever encountered!!!!!! only to go to another dental office to tell me my tooth was left too high by the sentist which is why the crown wasnt fitting properly so them doing a bad job costed me pain money and time that they wont take ownership for or compensate me back for. maybe worry less about your eyelashes and more about patient care and professionalism. its peoples oral health you are dealing with !!!!!!! read more

I wish i could give no stars. Terrible experience with this office and won't be going back. I scheduled a first appointment for my three kids. Showed up at 2:20 for our 2:30 appointment. Upon arrival was told that all three of their appointments were at 2:00 and since they were more than 15 minutes late they refused to see them. I would not have scheduled a 2:00pm appt because they aren't home from school at that time. However, I understand it's possible I made a mistake and wrote the time down wrong so I tried to be polite. I asked if they could still see any of them since I took time off work to bring them and was told no. As I stood in a completely empty waiting room with three soaking kids after getting there in the rain there was no offer from their staff to accommodate, reschedule, work with us in any way. They didn't even check with the dentist, just flat out said we won't see you. I asked if they typically call to confirm appointments and was told they left me a voicemail. I checked my phone (including deleted voicemails just in case) and had no missed calls or voicemails. I asked her to verify my phone number and she gave me the wrong number. I said "that's not it" and she back-pedaled and gave me a different number. Their info states that walk-ins are welcome anyway so their refusal to see us was ridiculous when there were no other patients in the office. They made it very clear they don't value their patients and I don't get the feeling their staff are trustworthy. With so many options out there I'd suggest skipping Heritage Dental. read more

I was wry of having any dental work done. I had not been to the dentist in many years. I finally settled on Heritage after my friend highly recommended them. EVERYONE was so nice and friendly, the assistants are so empathetic to me as a patient and the Doctor is so careful. By far the best experience I could have hoped for. The front desk lady Blanca is so personable I regularly attend all my visits now. So, this review is about 6 months late, but it is a reminder because now it is time for my check up. Dr. Patel was cool he is a young dentist. I had a crown put on! I believe he did a great job but the dental assistants are horrible!!! Ok, So I went in to get my permanent crown, since I never had a crown before I didn't know how sensitve my tooth was going to be. So when the dental assistant took it off and started scrapping I coulda punched her out, it was so painful! Then she try to put my permanent on, she said it didn't fit, so Dr. Patel got it on...Her job was to clean the cement up. She put that floss around the tooth and started yanking. This was Farm most the best thing dentist I've been to previously before to this one I've been to numerous dentists in San Bernardino area and they always told me the same thing that I was going to have to have surgery done on my work I need to be done I went to heritage never spoke about any kind of surgery we spoke about what goal we were going to set for our self. Respectful dr he was not trying to just have all lot of nonsense work that needed to be done he was not about $ sign. This is a great dental office with a friendly staff, and the doctor is nice and really puts care into his patients. The manager, Blanca, is by far my favorite part of this dental office. She is always so nice and extremely helpful, i never have to worry about figuring out what i need to have done next, because she always knows what to schedule me for, and she always has my best interest at heart. I came to heritage dental for a routine checkup and as well as a fix for my chipped tooth. The dentist did the cleaning, and told me he would polish down my tooth so it doesn't feel so sharp. I agreed. When it was time to go i went to the restroom to check my tooth, and noticed that it was visibly shorter than when i came in. I asked the dentist to please restore it to what it was when i came in. The dentist agreed and asked the dental assistant to check my blood pressure and get me prepped. A few minutes later the receptionist comes by and basically says that the dentist is not comfortable with doing that bonding because i have invisilign, and it will eventually chip again because of that. I was confused as the dentist had just agreed to fix what he messed up. I asked to speak to the dentist as though there had been some sort of miscommunication, and the receptionist relayed that he will not do it. Dear dentist.. You do not have your receptionist relay messages to your patients, that you can relay yourself! I find it very cowardly of you. There is definitely organizational weakness in your business. I went in for 3 fillings and came back to get them adjusted because like I told her I believed they are too low because they are not touching when I bite. I had to explain this to her about 4 times before she pretended to understand\. She proceeded to fileling down more of the filling that was low already, hitting a nerve twice and getting anoyed with me because I was oviously not biting down approprietly. I will come back in two weeks to get the whole work redone. I will look for another dentist in the meantime. 3/17/15 Update. After my complaint, the dentist was wonderful. She apologized, though I came to realize it was kinda my own fault. It's important to give your filling time to set in and for us to properly explain what you feel to the dentist. She's fixing my filling and she has become very patient with me and I too have become less of a pain in her ass. I'll be coming back for another filling on the other side of my mouth. read more

Great experience! I went in to get a deep cleaning and was wonderfully surprised at the level of professionalism and vibe of the place. Needless to say i was skeptical after reading the reviews but decided to give the place a shot. Upon arrival i was properly greeted, my wait time was short, under 10 minutes, and the procedure was quick and thourough! Here's what convinced me to come back for any future work, after examining, they offered a couple of other procedures but they didn't shove them down my throat! At other dental offices i've visited the treatment coordinators are so wrapped up in their sales that they push unnecessary treatments and procedures, they tell you you need it now and there's no time to wait when in reality its more often than not just something to plan and watch for. So that made me very happy! I felt they understood my needs and helped in any way possible, thanks a lot Blanca and Monique for that! So yes i would recommend them, and yes i am 100% satisfied with their work!! read more

Today was the worst dental experience of my life. I needed a tooth extracted and was already feeling very nervous about it. Well obviously my feeling was for a reason. The dentist was so overly rushed it was ridiculous. He barely let my mouth numb before trying to forcibly rip it out of my mouth. I told him it was still very painful and he shot my mouth a couple more times and without even waiting went back to trying to pull again. He had so much trouble. He was pulling and pushing on my mouth and face so hard it took everything I had not to cry. After some drilling and more pain he got the tooth out which he then muttered "finally". Yeah agreed...finally. Then he left as quickly as he came in. I will never go back. I expected some discomfort but I should've known better after my cleaning left me in tears. I'm in more pain now than ever. I wish I had never even listened to him about pulling the tooth. And to think he said he felt confident pulling my wisdom tooth?!?! Absolute not! Today's extraction was a test. And one that he epically failed. The one good thing I can say is the assistants are very sweet. That's it though. read more

I really dislike this place for many reasons. First of all, appointment times mean nothing at Heritage Dental. Every time we go in for an appointment we wait anywhere from 30 to 45 minutes after our scheduled time. Keep in mind I and my family members are never late. Once we're in the seat, we wait an additional 10-20 minutes to be seen. These are not exaggerations on my part. I keep close tabs on the time spent waiting. Second, the office staff takes personal phone calls in the waiting area. That's very unprofessional and rude. Personally, I have no interest in hearing details of the personal lives of others. Finally, the work is subpar. My family member's fillings have fallen out on more than one occasion. I was charged for a deep cleaning, which come to find out wasn't a deep cleaning at all. In short, this place is exhausting. I wouldn't recommend coming here unless you're a masochist. read more

Office staff is horrible! Worst customer service I have ever experienced. They change appointments at the last minute without consent. This has happened 3 times. Dentist is friendly but she makes you feel like she doesn't understand. She tells you what she will be working on your next appointment then they over book and do not finish your work and have to come back. A root canal has taken 4 months to complete. I came here to get a regular exam and cleaning done. Blanca in the front was very sweet and welcoming. Ended up needing a few cavities filled and the doctor did an amazing job. The shot did not hurt at all and he was quick so I was in and out pretty fast. Earlier this year, I had fillings done at another office and I have had sensitivity on those teeth ever since. I told him my concerns and I don't know what extra step he did but I have had zero problems with the ones he filled :D By far the best experience I have had at a dental office and I will be back. Customer Service, absolutely horrible. I would give them no starts if I could. I had an appointment scheduled and ready to go, but then I got a phone call the next day from one of the assistants who was extremely rude to me. She copped an attitude telling me I needed to change my appointment and If I could come in within the next 30 minutes. I was at work! Not only that but I had specifically made an evening appointment because of my work schedule, but yet tries to bump me up to a 9am appointment. I'm so disappointed especially because I had heard wonderful things about their services, but this changed my mind completely. read more

I was taken in to the exam room right on time, which was about the only positive part of my experience. For xrays, cleaning, and 3 fillings I spent over 3 hours in the chair, mostly staring at a blank wall while the staff took care of other patients. I was not given an option of regular or white fillings, just told how much the fillings would cost and given an authorization for the credit card charge. One of the fillings has bothered me since then, with food getting stuck in the hole (yes, they left a hole), and a rough edge.
