My first 5-star review for a dentist! I had emergency pain and was seen same day. The receptionist was compassionate and friendly. The assistant was the most helpful, she looked at me and asked a few questions and knew exactly what was going on - dentist confirmed (he is great too!). Everyone went out of their way to ease my mind in my time of stress/pain. They're not covered by my insurance but I will go back and refer them every chance I get. Thank you! read more

I have been getting dental care from Dr. Marshall since at least 2001. My family and I have seen just about every hygienist in the office and even Dr Tooke when Dr Marshall was on vacation. I can't speak highly enough of this group of professionals. They are attentive, thoughtful, and very good at dental care. I started a new job and my colleague recommended that this office worked with our insurance. I went 4 times in 2 years and only saw a dentist once. Nearly every time I was in my dentist was on vacation."Is it OK if the dentist checks you next time? Everything looks good." The one time I did see the dentist he let me know I needed to have an implant tightened. I was extremely concerned about it., But the dentist wasn't available for 3 weeks because he was on vacation and the other dentist was overloaded. So I drove to my old home town to have the original dentist do it for me. Then, I sent my husband there as a new patient, without insurance. He had a broken filling and needed to see someone quickly. On top of a new patient intake fee of $125, they wanted $400 for the filling. My husband walked out. He called another dentist and got the same filling replaced the next day for $175. Prima donna dentist, hard to actually see, and overpriced. Go somewhere else that wants your business. read more

My cousin recommended this dentist after moving to Oregon recently. I can honestly say it was the best teeth cleaning I've ever had. They were timely in getting me in, everybody was friendly, and Kiara explained everything she was doing while doing it diligently with care. Usually I dread going to the dentist, but this was a very honest and pleasant experience. I did not feel rushed nor just like another number like many dentist. This office is staffed with the friendliest people in the world. No joke. I had a chipped tooth that I needed to get taken care of before a big trip and they were able to squeeze me in last minute. Everyone was super accommodating and professional making sure I was comfortable in the room and in the chair, and I had everything I needed. Dr. Marshall repaired my chip perfectly the first time. I've had some dentists who have to keep shaving down the tooth over and over to get it to fit with your bite, but that was not the case. You can definitely tell Dr. Marshall and his staff know what their doing. Would definitely recommend! read more

I have been going to Heritage Dental for well over 10 years. They have always taken great care of my teeth. The dentists and hygienists are superb. Today I had a new hygienist named Dan. He did a great job of cleaning my teeth and finished in just a half hour. It used to take much longer, and my gums used to be very sore afterwards. I changed the kind of toothbrush I have been using, and that has helped, but Dan gave me some tips on brushing and flossing to help me to do even better. When I left the dental office, I felt confident that I was on track to reducing the number of times I need to see the hygienist every year. For a visit to the dentist it was a very positive experience. read more

My loyalty to this place was established back in the day when they accepted my broke self as a patient. There was a foul monster of a tooth rotting away in my mouth, and I was this close to doing a shot of whiskey, tying a string around it, and slamming a door like a cartoon. Instead they let me through the doors and offered a short-term payment plan. Dr. Tooke recommended the financial equivalent of parking a Lexus in my mouth, but didn't fight me when I told him just to yank the offending party from my face hole. Since then I've been going to this dentist when something hurts, or when I can talk myself into a cleaning. I've got a gold crown and one of those porcelain ones that should tide me over until they develop a way to laser printer dentures. When other dentists have placed the porcelain ones, I ended up having to go back over and over to get it properly fitted. Dr. Tooke nailed it on the first shot, and was totally okay with me being fully doped up on laughing gas for these procedures, and all the other ones, too. This is important to me, because sitting in that chair ignites all kinds of accelerated emotional reactions. Kind of like your drunk uncle at the family picnic that vacillates between talking about his war experience and demanding answers about your outfit choice. It's not my preferred vulnerability. Heritage Dental is about as close to a safe space as a dental office can be, and every procedure will be performed fast without compromising quality. read more

I recently had a root canal done here and am about to get the crown put on, and in every aspect of their office they are the... BEST [period] DENTIST [period] AROUND [period] End of discussion. They are so accommodating to specific situations. For starters Daphne (the administration/office manager) is one of the kindest people you will ever meet! Dr. Marshall is one of the friendliest and most down to earth dentists I have ever encountered. He always made sure I was comfortable with what was going on, and kept great communication through the entire procedure. I had a very unique situation come up during the process of the root canal. In between my appointments my daughter was born, and because of this I missed an appointment and wasn't able to call to reschedule it until after it had passed. They were SO GREAT! They not only rescheduled me but also they didn't charge the "Missed appointment" fee, even though they had every right to (as there is a disclaimer in the office letting patients know that there is a missed appointment fee if you don't reschedule prior to the appointment). On top of everything; they were so great with handling my situation financially. I couldn't pay all of it up front, so they set up a payment arrangement, and didn't charge any interest what so ever. Even if that wasn't enough, the last scheduled payment of my fees was scheduled to come out TODAY, so they automatically withdrew it from my account (Which was fine because that's what we had agreed to). I realized that after the fact and couldn't really afford it so they refunded it and will let me finish the last payment once I finish the procedure. I honestly could keep writing another 5 pages littered with praise for this office, but I think this might be enough to convince you... if not respond to this review and I will sell you on this office because it's the easiest sell ever. They are the best. If you need a dentist look no further! read more

VERY kind staff! Honestly I sort of stumbled upon their business accidentally and it was one of the best mistakes I could've made! I was trying to find another dentist in the same building but met this team in this confusion. They have always been so sweet and accommodating. One morning a dental hygienist was running late from some bad traffic - we rescheduled for the next day and they went above and beyond to apologize (not necessary) and got me a $10 gift card to Por Que No. Heather the receptionist is THE NICEST WOMAN. She is always positive, upbeat, energetic (even at 7 in the morning). I have had such a great experience seeing this team! read more

I very rarely write yelp posts despite the utility I find in the website itself. But I would be doing a disservice not to write about my positive experience with Dr. Tooke and Heritage Dental as a whole. I went to Heritage to get my wisdom teeth removed and through three visits I became more and more impressed by the staffs hospitality and attention to providing amazing customer service. The receptionist and I enjoyed fun conversation before meeting with either Dr. Tooke or his assistants, and prior to leaving I had important "next step" assignments to ensure my teeth were being taken care of at home. To summarize my visits even further, I always felt cared for. The staff is awesome and makes you feel like your problem is their problem something I rarely see in related industries and businesses. I found Heritage Dental, and thankfully Dr. Tooke, while I was experiencing an emergency that resulted in a root canal :(. Luckily, not only were they available that day, I was set up with Dr. Tooke and his assistant Frankie, and I am so happy to say he is now my regular dentist! They are both gentle and kind. He is very skilled with numbing, I hardly felt anything. I have worked through a traumatic dental experience from my teens through EMDR and hypnotherapy, but have always still needed nitrous to calm my anxiety. This week is the first week in my long adult life that I have had dental work (2 cavities filled) with no nitrous because of Covid restrictions. It was so empowering to walk out with that experience. At this office, I would highly recommend Dr. Tooke, especially if you have dental experiences that have been less than desirable and need to see someone gentle and understanding. read more
