This review is for the soccer fields only. We just came back from our second trip to Vegas for the ECNL showcase and I can say these are probably the worst fields we've ever played at. Most fields are dirt and very dead grass (is Vegas so that's kind of expected), but what is really astonishing is that the turf fields are turf have small rocks instead of rubber pellets between the blades of artificial grass. I have never experienced that. Half of our team ended up with rock pieces embedded in their knees and elbows, and one got infected. The 2 stars are for ample and free parking. They do have lots of fields but some should not be used at all! Bathrooms are not great, there are no concessions either. read more

Lots of fields so lots of space to kick the ball around unless its taken up by the clubs who practice or play games there. The fields have two soccer goals in each one sometimes they are taken sometimes they arent. Field 11 and 12 are turf ones kinda suck when its really hot cuz you can feel the heat through your cleats at times. But those field are the ones you will usually find not being used and opened to the public. The bathrooms for most part clean but lack soap at times but never toilet paper. There is a playground by field 1 we go sometimes but if you are going for the playground then there is one in the corner of burkholder and Pueblo it has more playground equipment. They dont keep the lights on at night to all the fields unless the are being used for clubs except field 11 and 12. People like to jog around the fields and area. On the perimeter of the park there is doggy poop bins for when people walk their dogs out of the perimeter. (We love dogs but nice not to step on dogs poop) There is a dog park on the side of Heritage park and split by size I see lots of dogs there so its great. One side of the area is near the high school and a ditch. Sometimes there's questionable people but not much. Lots of teens like to hang out at the park and kick the ball so its safe enough. Just like when you are out and about have some caution. read more

The parks is very nice I just wish they had several entrances for handicap to walk into the park I wasn't able to used my scooter because it get stuck on the grass and is hard to push. Also they don't have sitting benches like the other soccer field or park. It would have been helpful for disabled people to enjoy also the game of their kids or their grandkids. read more

Great soccer fields. My son's league has soccer games here and they keep the grounds and grass really nice. They have 13 fields, which is among the most I have seen in Henderson. This whole area around Cadence etc is really improving and growing. They have baseball and playgrounds as well. read more

The fact that the picnic bench table area in Heritage park has recycle bins, but the rest of the block including Cinnamon Ridge park does not, just screams that nothing is actually recycled. So why try to fool the people? Also watch out for the guy who hangs out at the picnic tables near the bathrooms in the evening using the women's bathroom. He's dumb enough to believe nobody seems him doing so. read more

Heritage Park is a large, spacious park tucked away in Henderson. Though in a residential area, thr park is very calm and peaceful, even on the weekends. I like to walk around and look at wildlife. Today I saw a jackrabbit, several squirrels, and your usual ensemble of area songbirds. I'm excited to visit this park in the springtime to see more birds. There is a huge area of this place for dogs. It is called Bark Park. Lots of fenced-in areas for dogs to run wild. You'll know you're in the right place when you see the dog statue and bone statues. There are many soccer fields and baseball fields at this park. I think there is a senior center and swimming center at the park. The park was very empty today and there were hundreds of empty parking spots. If you're in Henderson and want to take a nature walk and enjoy some birds, Heritage Park is a great place to go. I had never been to this park but saw they were doing a big Fourth of July thing and was interested in going. This park is huge! There are so many activities that you can do here. You can walk around the park and trails, play a sport on a field, swim in the aquatics center, or bring your dog to the dog park. There's plenty of parking and if you go during a festival or holiday like we did and the lots are full, there's plenty of street parking. I would highly recommend Fourth of July here. We put our blanket down on the soccer field (great grass, maintained so well btw) and watched from there. The fireworks show lasted 20 min! That's basically forever in fireworks terms. It also had one of the best finales I've seen ever. Really really nice park! I def want to come back to check out the trails. read more

Soccer tournament. Been to many tournaments. The parking here is awful. Only one entrance and exit on south side. As you enter, the turn about bottle necks because people are trying to enter and exit the circle from all 4 sides. Has to be the worst plan design I've ever been to. I appreciate all the fields to play on, but not parking. Really narrow rows to drive through. Lots of close calls for people almost hitting each other. Definitely don't park on the sides with red curbs. They ticket people. Lots of soccer fields but most have dead grass that sticks to everything like static cling from the dryness. Stuck to all our equipment and then unfortunately into our car. I guess it is too much to water in the desert. And broken sink in the men's bathroom. Dirty soccer boys can't wash their hands. read more

Update: After a few attempts to get a Line Dancer instructor, Jeanine, to respond back to me, via Sr Heritage staff, as promised by Jeanine will send me info on dances as she has to others she said, she never kept her promises and it's been since Oct 23, very discouraging service from her. Maybe she needs to pay attention from her ladies in there from gossiping and being rude when coming in talking to each other then take other people's seat without them knowing it. read more

Went specifically to the senior center library. Nice facility and staff that was putting on a Japanese culture fest Tea ceremony, calligraphy, dance, drum, archery, and chopstick race that my gf was proud to be the grand winner of. The park itself has several parts. Waking paths, baseball fields, soccer football fields, playground, and small basketball court. This park has also hosted the Henderson 4th of July firework show. So obviously a lot happening here! read more

On our recent vacation, I chose to visit this park because it includes 3 separate enclosures set aside for dogs, but it came as a surprise to discover in includes both a large aquatic center and a senior center. In addition there are multi-use fields, picnic areas, an amphitheater, and a walking trail. We spent most of our time petting several of the dogs and talking to their owners. I look forward to a second visit to explore more of the park's amenities. read more

Nice quiet safe close to everything I can stay a week and feel relaxed I wish they would hold concerts and live music to listen

Talk about huge park not just soccer fields but got the whole works from aquatic building and dog park. I came to Heritage Park over the weekend to watch my nephews Vegas Cup soccer tournament. I had no idea they even had something like this size in Henderson since am rarely on that side of town. So my review is only based on the soccer fields. I was impressed not only with the size but overall. It can look deceiving when you pull into the parking lot. When you do be like wow that LOT of fields in one area. Believe overall 10-12 fields. All for soccer although could see them using it for maybe flag football also?? The first set of fields are combination of six all in row and then most part on top next set of fields again all lined up next to each other believe three on top. On the upper level whole another line of fields from 10-12. In between the two decent amount of parking and up front of the first set more parking. If tournament setting like I went fair warning better chance find parking lower area then above. It only field #1that has full seating area (concrete rows that can sit and watch the games) on one side. The bathrooms only used the one next to field #1 but clean and public park that great thing! They have other bathrooms spread out so not as though need go running find one. Since tournament going on had couple different food trucks set up in the parking lot. Normally nothing terms of food or snacks in the area. The fields vary lot from some with nice green grass, others looks hurting dried out, and couple other ones that look more like fake grass or something. That size park and public park I think not much complain about comes playing field. Well maintained, well marked, and all fields have lights (honest the tournament games I can watch all day games). If you have nephews or nieces play in any kind of tournament at Heritage Park. I would be double excited! Support Ohana and check out games in great venue. read more

Man is this park huge! I came here for a party, that was located right in front of the rock and swing playground/area. First off, I loved the location of the party. I loved how the kids could play right in front of us and that the restrooms were near by. I love that the baby swings had their own fence with entrance and exit. The restrooms were also clean. Not spotless but clean enough. The weather was very nice that day so I can't comment on how hot the play area gets. I'm sure it gets hot because besides the trees by the parking area there is little to no shade. I did get a little lost driving in. There are lots of different entrances. I also got lost leaving the park. Hahaha. I told you this park was huge. I think this is a nice place to take professional pictures. There is lots of green. I do wish I had explored the park more. This is definitely one of the nicer parks in the Vegas area. I know it's technically in Henderson but y'all know what I mean. read more

We came here in the middle of December for a lacrosse tournament. There are a lot of playing fields, restrooms, parking spots, playgrounds, etc. There's even a dog park! The skyline is gorgeous! The facilities were clean & well-maintained. This was a nice place to come. read more

Park #2 for today. We went fishing this morning at the 1st park and now we are at Heritage for HFFL games. This is another great park and probably the best in Henderson. They offer plenty of space for football, soccer and baseball. It's a very well maintained park and very nice. They also have a great dog park too. read more

I consider myself very lucky to live as close to Heritage Park as I do. It is a fantastic park with a lot to offer... In fact it is THE largest multi-use sports complex in the Las Vegas Valley!! The Aquatic Center is one of the best in the city. It is Henderson's largest dog park. (Note to self, review the dang dog park!) My favorite aspect of this park is the running path around the perimeter, and the trails that criss-cross the center area of the park. I love having a well-lit running path complete with mile markers so close to home. In fact, I love it so much I canceled my gym membership... Nothing at the gym compared to watching the bunnies scamper out of my way as I come running by. With all this park has to offer, I do not understand how anyone can NOT be a fan. read more

This is a big park with a lot of activity options. A dog park. A play ground. Sports fields. A senior center. And my personal favorite, hiking trails. There is a paved perimeter trail and an unpaved trail running diagonal through the park grounds. I walked a bit of both over the course of an hour to full experience and explore what the park has to offer. I was impressed. It is a very clean park and well maintained. It was a pleasent walk despite the early morning wind and my shoe insert sliding around under my foot. On this quest of mine to explore and hike through the various park of the area, I am trying to avoid repeating each weekend. But Heritage Park is one I would not mind coming back to some time in the future. read more

How could you NOT love this park?! We are very lucky to have such wonderful facilities in Henderson. I've attended a baseball tournament here twice and everything is well run and organized. They designated both bathrooms as "Womens" and added port-a-potties for the guys to use, which worked out well. There are soccer fields, baseball/softball fields, an aquatic center, a running/walking trail and a very nice dog park. There is plenty of parking, although (as another reviewer mentioned) the lots are a little bit tight. The grass is not the greenest you'll ever see, but this is the desert in February, I wouldn't expect it to be lush. read more

The park is in a residential are of Henderson. It's pretty nice except that the grass is mostly brown with the occasional green patch. But what can you expect with a soccer field in the middle of the desert and strict water conservation laws? It was also the middle of January so we didn't expect the greatest looking grass. As a soccer player, I thought the fields were very nice. Even though they're brown, the grass is not dead, the ground is still soft and cleats can still grip the ground well when running and shifting direction. There's also plenty of space for fans to sit and watch the game. We did however, have a little trouble identifying the field numbers. We didn't see any signs and had to ask a seasoned soccer mom for directions. Overall, a good experience. If only my nephew's team had won their game it would've been even better. read more

I am not terribly impressed with this park. Last fall, we have my daughter's soccer games there and this fall we have my son's flag football games there. We moved to that park (for the flag football) because they promised the league that they would have the snack bar open. Failure! The snack bar was closed for the first 4 games there. The first night game had the lights turn off at 9 p.m.....16 minutes before my son's game was over. The bathrooms are plentiful, but not always maintained in a decent condition. Seems like a nice park but the people here are snobby as f***. The dog part portion is at least. They get mad if your dog is not fixed. The sign for the park states nothing about your dog being spayed or neuter just no dogs in heat . I just love this big beautiful park. It's quiet! It's clean! It's well maintained and the staff there are friendly. We had our children practice and play soccer here for the past 3 years now. There is plenty of parking and plenty of bathrooms too. You also have a wonderful doggie park area on the other side. You can BBQ here as well as plenty of covered seating to dine. There is a an area for kids to play and grass everywhere. You can't beat that! Also, if you have the time, please go check out the Aquatic Center. Def worth it! *Just remember during practices and games(mostly game days/nights) to PAY ATTENTION while driving. People are walking everywhere and yes that includes kids big and small. People be MINDFUL of the CARS too. read more

REVIEW IS FOR THE NEW SPORTS PARK We attended my daughter's 1st soccer game of the season held at this park. I initially was excited since I have been to the Aquatic Center and the Bark Park. There were directions instructing us which we to head for the field you were looking for, but once you got to the fields we were all lost trying to see where we needed to be. Also, the parking lot is very, very narrow. We witnessed a car accident where two cars backing out of their stall hit each other. I had a hard time backing out even thought there wasn't someone right behind me. The grass looked terrible. There were dry spots all over the grass. We normally play at Anthem Hills park and we love that field. I do have to see we love having the bathrooms so close to the fields but we just were not inpressed about the park as we expected. read more

Okay, here's the deal...We have gone to this park on a few occasions for soccer and flag football Utilizing the grass fields as divided up by the leagues we played for. There is ZERO, and I mean zero shade on these fields or seating. They are literally grass fields, with cement walkways running through every so often. I have no experience with the other areas of this large park or their other facilities, and will gladly update them as we use or experience other areas. I will note that the parking lot nearest to the grass fields has "bus parking" which is excellent for hot tournaments when you want to bring an RV or large van to tailgate! read more
