What a beautiful and clean park! My best friend is lucky to live right across the street from this park and invited me to go hang out one afternoon with her daughter at their splash pad. That's right, I said it - A SPLASH PAD! What a perfect addition to a Vegas park! When we went, it wasn't busy at all and we were the only ones enjoying the splash pad. You have to push a button to turn it on, which wasn't entirely clear, but once you figure that out, it's wonderful. Her daughter really enjoyed it and the water was cold and refreshing. There are a couple of playground areas and swings that were great for littler ones and for older kids. The park even has a tennis court, a basketball court and a soccer field. There's plenty of parking and it's really such a beautiful place to hang out at!

I just love Madeira Canyon Park! I love the grassy open spaces that also have a lot of shaded areas! The multi levels of playgrounds, basketball courts, tennis courts, soccer fields, and splash pad areas just make for an incredible park! Throw in the fact that in some locations the elevation is such to allow you a great panoramic view of the entire valley and The Strip!

This is a pretty sweet park with something for everyone: ~10 tennis courts, a baseball diamond, a soccer field, a small playground, and even a water feature/splash pad for the hot summer months! The only part that appeals to me, though, is the trail that rings the park- take a few laps around for a good cardio workout, it even includes a large set of stairs by the baseball diamond! I'm bummed that this spot is far across town from me, but it's great for the surrounding community. No clue if the tennis courts are by reservation or first-come-first-served, but they're in great condition with bright lights for evening practice. The soccer/baseball areas seem to be in use by local kids teams, so don't count on being able to use them. BONUS: Great views at sunset, lots of parking!

We live close by the park , definitely safe clean and very entertaining for the kiddos . There's a baseball field splash pad basketball court and a few other thing for the family .

I highly recommend this park. It has something for everyone in the family. Plenty of shade "which is a necessity in Las Vegas" as well as large party tables to facilitate your functions. Large CLEAN restrooms. I love how the two play areas are separated so the tiny tots do not have to worry about getting trampled by the larger kidos. Let's not forget about the water and skating parks. Tennis anyone... Yes this park has it all.

However, it's Vegas, so bring your hats, waters, misters, whatever you do to fight the heat out here. We brought our niece and nephew here because right now life is all about dinosaurs! They were able to meet Dino man, we explored the very colorful and decorated front yard, saw some gems, baby Dino eggs, a T-Rex and even some aliens. Dino man makes it very fun to be involved and interacts with you, he has little free toys or snacks, games that get you prizes; and little stuff on sale that is very affordable to go towards your experience! He has water, soda and ice pops for your fun time also! Overall, it was a great experience for my nephew, he was super interested in his yard, car and garage! We will be back to see Dino man, but maybe when it's not too hot so he is amazed a bit longer!

There are coupons to spin a wheel and win other things and he also has fossils that he explains and lets the kids touch. It's a very sweet little place obviously put together with the love of dinosaurs and little children by a retired teacher. Our nieces (ages 4 and 7) enjoyed it and spent about 45 minutes there. Cost: free, so please donate a little something to keep this funky place around for the little ones!

The splash pad here is one of the largest splash pad at Henderson parks. It is spread out to give kids plenty of space to splash and play. It has a variety of features too. The splash pad is conveniently located next to a set of bathrooms and changing stalls. One of my favorite things about this park is all the green grass out in open spaces. I love having all the open space to let my toddler safely run. A lot of people bring blankets and hang out or have a picnic. The playground is good for about three years and up. A lot of the climbing features would be too big for really little ones. There are also two big slides in the side of a hill. There aren't any swings at this playground. There is a large covered pavilion area in between the playground and splash pad. It's large enough to be rented out for two different parties. We attended a toddler birthday party here and it was a nice space for that. The city should put up signs that the pavilions are paid rentals though. My friend arrived to find a party happening in the area she rented. The other party didn't know rentals were to be arranged through the city. She felt bad and gave up some of her rental space because she didn't want to ruin a kid's birthday party. Another cool thing about Mission Hills is the shaved ice truck that has a permanent spot when it's hot out. How perfect to be able to grab shaved ice when playing in the heat.
