I have been to this office for 2 visits. My first visit was for an eye exam with Dr. Kristina Dea…read more I came in and a technician did the vision pressure and light testing with me. Dr. Dea did a thorough exam to get me set up with my first pair of glasses ever. She explained things well. I then went over to the glasses section to pick out a pair of frames and had my measurements taken and the technician also let me try on glasses outside to see what they look like in the daylight. I returned 2 weeks later to have my eyes dilated for the rest of the exam as I was not able to have them dilated at my first visit. I had my 2nd exam with Dr. Rebekah Klein. She was great too! It was in this visit that my glasses were ready for pick up. I got progressive glasses because I have some vision loss for distance and it's been really hard to read on my phone. So they are pretty much worn only for driving and when in my phone. I feel I am still getting used to the glasses when driving. I also want to comment that the front desk staff have been nice and have returned my calls quickly when I have had to contact the office.

She is very thorough and explains things well. I'm also very impressed with the staff at Ventura Optometric Vision Care. The workers at the front desk are unfailingly courteous and efficient. Let me give you an example of how efficient this place is. When your glasses are ready, the office sends you a notification. Contrary to what you might expect, you don't need to schedule an appointment to pick them up. You can just drop by anytime and they will have someone available to take care of any adjustments needed to ensure a comfortable fit. So convenient! The location, on Victoria is also very convenient. As is the private parking lot. The waiting room is spacious and reasonably comfortable. There are magazines for people without phones. There is also a children's play area. Oh, and they have a pretty huge selection of frames here too. Frames for days. So many frames. I mean really a lot. Maybe like a thousand. I'm not kidding. Maybe more. Needed an optometrist for one of my children who was complaining about his vision. To be honest I'd driven by here 100 times and never knew it was located right next to the veterinarian clinic. You walk in and it is a quiet space with music faintly in the background. The optometrist assistant treated us with new patient paperwork and we waited only a few minutes before going back for eye photos and initial processes. Dr Debon then came and took us back for the exam and helped work through my son's complaints and checked his vision with multiple tools of the trade. We came up with a plan and then went out to choose frames for new glasses. The processes was seamless and the best part of the visit was how low key and mellow it was. As a smaller office we got the opportunity to have a full visit conversation and everything was not rushed just to see everyone. Hands down highly recommended!
