What I have to say may steer mature women away from Hermann Aesthetics....I have been receiving a number of treatments for a span of approximately 4 years. Over this time I have spent hundreds, thousands of dollars to achieve reasonable results which I don't feel my results were acceptable nor reasonable. I will let you readers decide what is acceptable when I attach before and after 1 Juvederm treatment photos. I gave Robin the benefit of the doubt because I had lost a significant amount of weight/collagen and I trusted her. I would suggest simply getting a face lift and her response each time I asked was, Well Tanya, "with a face lift comes regular maintenance and you'll end up spending more." Hmmm, well I saw a plastic surgeon and was told, "she said that because she was going to loose money. Furthermore, her excuse for where she injected fillers was incorrect and she should have focused under the eyes...Robin said there was potential for blindness? I recall "amateur" in the conversation by a colleague. Furthermore, Sculptra went out years ago! The front office staff was very nice and Robin did refund me half of the bundle that Jessica strong armed me into buying, I will give them that. The saddest part of all was, when I would arrive angry and frustrated, they would laugh! Laugh at the expense of my face... that's disgusting and cruel! Perhaps when all their beauty fades, they will understand. read more

I have been going to Robin at Hermann Wellness Center for a number of years . I am very conservative in what I want to do to my face. Botox and fillers are what she uses on me. I like that she is also conservative, kind, gentle, caring and we share the same vision. We have great conversations so we allow extra time! I want to feel refreshed with my face but also natural. I started seeing Dr Herman when I lived in Tampa about 3 years ago. I had researched different doctors before picking her. My 1st visit was amazing and any nerves I had about getting Botox & fillers were erased as she was gentle, not pushy, and really explained the options and made sure I made the right choice for my goals. I saw her a few more times before moving to Orlando. I spent about two hours researching doctors in Orlando not wanting to spend 3-4 hours driving to her office but nobody grabbed me because I was just so happy with Dr Herman so now I have decided I will make the drive to Tampa a few times a year so my face stays great. I am planning to start one of her weight loss programs March 19th. Again there are plenty of doctors in Orlando but the trust I have in Dr Ann Herman is too great to give up just because I moved. I have never felt she was pushing me to use more fillers then I needed/wanted. I think she wants to be sure a patient looks fresh faced and attractive not like a plastic doll. She has never rushed through any procedure. I trust her 100% and just can't say enough good things about her or her staff. Dr Herman's office is just the best! I started seeing Dr Graham for acupuncture after my rheumatologist told me there was little he could do for me. Also, I have been coming here for approx 3 yrs and in this short period of time: - ARNP Jessica left the practice so I was dumped to Dr Hermann - the following year Dr Hermann stopped seeing Pts for primary care so I got dumped to ARNP Kathy - two months later Kathy leaves the practice so now I can't even get a refill on my prescriptions and have to see the new doc for lab results and refill (more visits, more $$) - next week the new physician, Dr Patel, stops taking insurance so $350 1hr consultation Terrible practice, disjointed, money hungry .. I started coming here to see Dr. Hermann because she seemed like she really know about allergies & vitamins. I had a couple of appts, she suggested I get some allergy tests that were about $700 with insurance. I trusted that and did them. Now that I am seeing an actual allergist, he told me those tests (IGE) were "complete bullshit" and I wasted my money, so I'm obviously pretty upset about that. I would like to believe Dr. Hermann wouldn't prescribe these tests if she believed that they were bullshit, so I'm giving her the benefit of the doubt because I really liked her and felt that she cared about my care. The office staff is a different story. They're very unorganized and most of them didn't know what they were doing. (Tonya in billing is great, though!) It's also ridiculous to get an appointment with her and I know other people who have had a similar experience. She only sees people who have allergy or hormone issues and because she's an MD and considers herself a primary, my insurance required me to name her as my primary Doctor even though I only saw her for allergies. This was super annoying because I had to switch back and forth between her and my actual primary every time I wanted to see one or the other. Totally not worth it. Fast forward to now, as I haven't seen her in about a year after my allergist told me those tests were BS. Plus, it was too annoying to switch back and forth with my insurance. I accidentally called Dr. Hermann's office instead of another doctor I was trying to pay a bill for. (Both offices had Wellness in the names and both doctor's started with H, so they're next to each other in my phone. Whoops). I called and said I needed to pay the remainder of my bill, $42.73. The girl I spoke to (I believe at the SP office), looked up my name and I offered to give her my account number (which would have tipped us off if I was giving her the complete wrong number). She said no. Then I said I needed to pay the $42.73 and she said something along the lines of oh! Okay. I see it! $42.73. I even said that should be the remainder of my bill and she said yes, took my credit card information and asked if I wanted a receipt in which I said yes. I got the receipt in the mail a few days later and was really confused as to why I paid that Doctor money when I hadn't seen her in a year. I figured it out immediately that I called the wrong doctor, BUT SHE TOOK MY MONEY AND ACTED LIKE SHE KNEW WHAT I WAS TALKING ABOUT. I didn't have a balance at all!!!!! Needless to say, I do not recommend this office whatsoever. read more

Have you ever had a doctor cancel your appointment 30 minutes before the start of it after receiving multiple confirmation phone calls the week of? Thought no. Well, that's exactly what happened with this office. While in the car with my son...taking him to daycare early so I could get to my first appointment (oh that I waited over 3 months for!!) I got a phone telling me the doc doesn't take insurance anymore and that she still yet wasn't in the office. WHAT?!?!?! This was a call that's received 30 minutes prior to my 8am appointment. Terrible customer care. Lack of patient empathy. Mismanagement of scheduling. No consideration. I recommend you stay away from people and a place that treat patients like this. Dr. Hermann and her team of medical professionals, assistants and staff provide the best procedures, products and services specifically tailored to each client's individual needs and desired results. I wanted a natural-looking, younger, refreshed look. After a thorough consultation, I opted for the "Red Carpet Lift", a procedure that includes injectable Botox, fillers, and PDO threading. A numbing cream was applied to my face, and I was also offered and used Pronox Nitrous Oxide. I can honestly tell you the entire procedure was pain-free and anxiety free. In one hour, Dr. Hermann knocked a good 10 years off my face!! There was zero downtime. I could have gone straight back to work, out to dinner, or an event... no one would have been the wiser. After more than 2 years of trying to get my primary doctor to listen to me and run blood tests for vitamin deficiencies, I found Dr. Anne Hermann. I was elated that she actually believed me and was willing to order the blood tests that confirmed that I was deficient in B12 and vitamin D. Great doctor, great physical therapy, will come back often.

I came in for muscle spasm in my rotator cuff, neck and back areas. Its been a serious problem for almost 6 months, limiting my mobility and very high levels of pain. I tried muscle relaxants like Soma but I hated feeling groggy. I've had good results with aggressive deep tissue massage for a lot of the pain/immobility, but plateaued with this particular area. Dr. Hermann gave me deep acupuncture in the problem areas, and connected electricity to the needles to really shock the muscle into releasing the spasm. After about 5 or 6 treatments, its the best its ever felt. not 100% yet, but hopefully will get there with continued treatment. read more

I'm sure they're great... but the front office is a mess. I called and scheduled an appointment for a week ago for a consult/first acupuncture session for infertility. I get there, am promptly shown to the waiting room and a few minutes later, someone comes out and says "There's been a mistake. The doctor can't see you today, unless you're willing to wait until 5:45." Mind you, that is 2 hours and 45 minutes later than my scheduled appointment... When I went out to retrieve my paperwork, ID and insurance card, the front office tried to pawn off the mistake on the "new girl". They then tried to guilt me into staying, pulling out information on how acupuncture has been shown to help with infertility. No kidding, why do you think I'm here on a doctor's referral?!? If they can't handle appointments correctly, then why should I trust them with my medical care? A bad front office is always a headache for the patient. No thanks. read more

what a nightmare! I believe in a holistic approach and I was so excited to have found Dr. Hermanns office in St. Pete. I saw Dr. Patel for a physical and she was wonderful. She prescribed me bloodwork and I went to Quest to get it. I asked the Dr. if I would have to pay for any of this out of pocket and she insisted I wouldn't. I talked to her about money because its not cheap to go to this Dr. office but I am committed to my heath and I thought it was worth it. I received a VERY expensive bill and had been working with Tonya in the billing dept. You need to avoid dealing with this woman at ALL costs. It isn't even worth it to see Dr. Patel because you might have to deal with Tonya. She will throw it in your face that she has been in the healthcare industry for years and believe me, she will use it to bully you and chew you up and spit you out! I have been working with Nicole in the St. Pete office to resolve this issue which I learned from a previous conversation with Tonya, the insurance company, Quest, and the receptionist. Tonya completely blew me off and exploded on me very nastily so I decided to work with the Insurance company who reached out to Tonya. She blew up on this woman as well, wouldn't put her supervisor on the phone, then hung up on her and began repeatedly calling me while I was still on the other line with the insurance lady! Bottom line is that I have been dealing with this issue since the end of December, I have asked Dr. Patel to call me and I asked to never have Tonya call me again and I asked that the office manager call me. Never heard from any of them and I guess I don't know what to do with this bill now. I did receive a resolution from Quest and the Insurance company but now that I understand whats going on and have sought out a solution, nobody from this office will deal with me!!!! Avoid these people!!! read more
