I got referred out to Dr. Zibari to complete some endodontic work. From start to finish it was a great experience. The office was well located, bright, clean and tastefully decorated. His staff was extremely professional and attentive and there was virtually no wait. I have to say, for someone who has spent alot of time at the dentist, this was hands down one of the most relaxing and comfortable visits I've had. Things were explained thoroughly which helped put me at ease and it didn't have the typical sounds of shrieking drills and fatigue from having to hold open my mouth because there were tools available for that. Dr. Zibari is an outstanding endodontist. I couldn't have asked for a better dental experience. I had a fractured back molar with several, out of the norm complications. So not the easiest case coming into his office. I was in a lot of pain. So I can't tell you how thankful I am that Dr. Zibari was able to see me asap. He has a very busy practice. In short, Dr. Zibari is FANTASTIC. With a few more details, I am usually skeptical of dental work but Dr. Yigal Zibari made me feel comfortable and created a sense of trust. He explained everything that will, could or might happen and what the scenarios could be and what I need to do. All clear and easy to understand information. I had a split root canal (which he said they are fun to work on which showed me how much he loves his profession and cares about his work). he did quick work of it like it was nothing. I was referred to Dr. Zibari (a few years back) by MB's finest dentist, Dr. Brian Wither's after I rolled into his office complaining about an excruciating pain in my jaw. They phoned Dr. Z. and his staff fit me in immediately. Once I was there Dr. Z informed me that I needed a root canal A.S.A.P. and my anxiety went right through the roof. He sensed my fear and calmed my nerves right away, and treated me as though I was a member of his family or his best friend. He assured me the whole way through that if I felt anything he would stop and would administer more numbing medication...he kept his promise and kept me extremely comfortable the entire time. Totally recommend this Root Canal specialist. I was in need of possibly 2 root canals . Yes 2! Dr Zibari said only 1 was needed !This office makes everything so stress free . Especially during covid! I had the best experience ever here! Dr. Zibari did a root canal for me, and I can't recommend him highly enough. He and his staff are absolutely top notch, and gave me the best service I could possibly ask for. First of all, Sharon at the front desk is super nice and helpful, every time I called she was cheerful and worked extra hard to try to squeeze me into the schedule when the books were tight. Dr. Zibari is world class at what he does, and is truly a prince among men. Super nice guy, super straight up about the root canal when he gave me a consultation. He told me that realistically it might not work out, but he would be happy to do it if I wanted to. He said, "I mean, I would do it for my brother - no question - but then my brother would get it for free." As you can see, he has a great sense of humor. I decided to go for it and give it a shot. Well, after the root canal was finished (probably 45-60 mins in the chair - absolutely zero pain, I think I actually fell asleep ;-) he showed me an x-ray (or digital image, I can't remember exactly) of the root canal he had just done. He seemed very pleased, and said it had turned out very well. Woo hoo! Here's the thing that maybe impressed me the most of all, on top of all the great service: The next day, my cell phone rings, it's a local number I don't recognize, and so I answer. Look, you need a root canal right? Well, let's just say that I understand what pain is. I also will say that Dr. Z was amazing. Truthfully, during the procedure I fell asleep AND woke up 2x because I snored myself away. I'd say that speaks for itself. For the record, I cannot stand shots from any doctor...period. Post recovery is always supposed to be a b---, a bear, but seriously I only had to take 4 tylenols the next day and was eating and drinking within 24 hours. I was out of state and experiencing severe tooth pain. I got a consult from a local dentist and was told I needed an emergency root canal (I had never had one). I called my long-term dentist (Dr. Brian Withers of Withers Dental - fantastic), who recommended Dr. Zibari. In mere minutes Dr. Brian had corresponded with Dr. Zibari's office and an appointment was made (I suspect they added an appointment at the end of the day for me since I was getting off a plane which is beyond nice). They also sent me the convenient, easy-to-navigate, online patient forms right away. From the moment I stepped into the office and met the team I knew I was in good hands. I immediately felt less nervous. Not only was the procedure painless but I have NO PAIN the afterwards or in the days to follow. Dr. Zibari explained what he was doing every step of the way, complete with a slide show at the end to show me the work he'd done. Furthermore, he placed a call to my dentist to let him know how everything went within minutes of me leaving (definitely off the clock, taking time out of his own evening). This guy is so amazing he cured me of my fear of the dentist!!! I had to have 2 root canals and was so afraid to go get them done, I waited until I was in so much pain it was necessary. After being referred to him by another amazing dentist who is doing the crowns, I went and had the two root canals done and everything was amazing from start to finish!! There was no one else in the office and the windows were open with a nice breeze so I felt totally safe Covid wise, the office was beautiful and clean, They were so nice and made me feel at ease! Dr. Zibari performed my root canal. With my oddly shaped roots, he was able to navigate the canal through the use of his microscope. His technique is flawless and his hygienist was on the spot. She was able to anticipate everything he was about to perform, and they executed flawlessly like a complex orchestrated dance. I have always had a lot of anxiety when going to a dentist, but even more so when having to get my first root canal. After reading all the glowing reviews for Dr. Zibari, I decided to schedule an appointment. His staff was very kind and courteous when I got there, which instantly put me at ease. When Dr. Zibari came in, he had such a calming presence that my anxiety dissipated even further. I was bracing myself for what I thought was going to be a painful experience, but I was amazed at how there was absolutely no pain! I didn't even feel the novocaine injections which were done without numbing gel. Not only were the injections painless, but my mouth was not numb after the root canal, when I have always had half my mouth numb for hours after going to any dentist. The root canal itself was pain free from start to finish! To my further surprise, he called me personally to follow up after he was done working for the day to see how I was doing. I have NEVER had any medical professional follow up after a visit. The fact that I would rather get a root canal done by Dr. Zibari than get a regular teeth cleaning should speak volumes. I was referred to Dr Zibari by my dentist Dr. Calleros. I had an abscess attached to my #3 molar that had a root canal done on it long ago. He said he wanted to redo the root canal at a cost of $1,500.00 then open up the side of my gum and extract any thing left of the abscess for an additional $1,776.00. I don't have insurance. When I went to pay the exam fee of $150.00 with my Amex card they would not take it. Luckily I had $150.00 in my wallet. Dr. Zibari is probably a great Endodontist, if you have insurance. I got a 2nd opinion, went to Dr Singer who managed to replace the root canal and remove the abscess for less than $1500. On the same day I called him. I get the feeling some of these doctors just look at their clients as dollar signs and not people with other bills to pay. read more
