Absolutely one of THE most pleasant experiences I have had at any business, let alone a dentist's office. I has been a while since I last went into a dentist's office since my former dentist left a terrible impression and his staff was not cooperative. The person that took my X-rays (I think her name is Crystal) made sure the process didnt hurt/uncomfortable and were quickly done. The hygienist, Joy, is a treasure trove of knowledge. She did not try to lecture me about her concerns about my dental health. She was very kind and fun to talk to (given that she's looking inside my mouth and poke me). She numbed my my gums really well (without a needle) and it was a pretty painless experience. I forgot to get the name of the assistant that was helping Joy but she helped me book my follow up appointments and was super nice. Dr Ahn is fantastic. I've had many dentists over the years and I'm glad to see that Dr. Ahn isn't near retirement age because I love it there and great dentists aren't easy to find. I've been to many cleanings in her office and the staff is very compassionate and people friendly. I recently went in for filling replacements could clearly see that Dr. Ahn was sensitive to my signals: I was adjusting my hands during the procedure because I don't like having my mouth open and being probed (I'm getting soft in my old age), it was early on in the procedure, and she stopped and suggested we take little breaks so I can close my mouth periodically, and you know what, I took her up on it and I appreciate that she picked up on that and offered a remedy. In my book I considered this place to be dialed in. She's hiring good people. read more

I have been coming to this office for over 30 years. When Dr. Ochi retired I was worried and anxious to switch because I am so impressed with Lynne my dental hygienist who I have been going to every 3 months for approximately 20 years now. However Dr. Ahn has been just wonderful. She picked up an early problem where I needed an extraction and implant. The whole process from start to finish was organized and efficient. Recently moved to the area and was in need of a new dentist. Prior to seeing Doctor Ahn, I had a chronic tooth ache from a procedure done by a different dentist. When I went to Doctor Ahn for a cleaning and checkup, she told me I need two fillings once for the same area that had the chronic pain. Doctor Ahn was able to fix the tooth that had the pain with re-levelling and remove the pain, an issue that two other dentists before did not have a solution for. I knew I had to get a new filling since food kept getting stuck at the same spot and I kind of knew my filling fell off. Like most people I dreaded going to the dentist because who likes to suffer and be in pain voluntarily. First visit was with a hygienist for a cleaning. They used a numbing gel on my gums which helped with the pain. The hygienist was super friendly and nice. She kept asking me if I was okay and if I needed a break and she can stop anytime. After my cleaning Dr ahn came in and confirmed that i did need a new filling. Maybe even a crown depending on how deep my cavity had spread since I waited so long to get it filled. I went back the next week to get my cavity filled. She was honest to let me know filling was all I needed. she was way more delicate and had gentle hands than my old dentist and they numbed me up way more than my other dental offices I been to so I didn't feel any pain during the procedure. Trust me, this is worth the read before you decide to step your foot into this office. On 6/23/21, I made the mistake of trusting this practice. I wanted to start my orthodontic treatment and was given the price of $1,300. I agreed to that amount and paid IN FULL so I can start the process. On 12/10/21, I was given an invoice stating I owed them $2,200. I asked their office manager Valerie what this was about, and was told to dismiss it because it was a "system error" and that I still had a $0 remaining balance. I requested an emailed copy for the updated invoice so that I could have a peace of mind. A couple days later, I received that email; however, it stated that I now have a balance of $700! I contacted the office once again and was told that it was for "chair time". Mind you, I came in approximately 4 more times for no longer than 10-15 minutes just to pick up my next set of trays. I asked for further clarification from DR. AHN and VALERIE and both were saying that I apparently only paid for lab fees. EXCUSE ME? If that was even remotely the case, why was I never notified that the days I came in for my appointments? I explained that was not the price we agreed upon and if the treatment was to cost me more, I would've NEVER agreed to this! I only had 4 weeks left before I was finished treatment and now they refuse to give me the last set of trays unless I pay a balance I never owed in the first place. Absolutely ABSURD! Now I'm getting harassed via email/phone calls about late fees and being sent to collections for a price I did NOT consent to. Do yourself a favor and AVOID this place at all costs. If I could give zero stars I would. Dr. Ahn is friendly to the point of being patronizing. She referred me for dental implant a few years ago which failed. It never grafted to the bone and has always been loose. Also at that time, she placed the crown and she mistakenly dropped the drill in my mouth and created a hole in my cheek. I did not return to the office but wrote a note informing her of the situation and never received an apology or any type of follow-up. Really disappointed. My family had been going to Dr. Ochi for years until Ahn took over. Being that you make appointments far in advance about two years ago I missed my appointment that I had forgot about and was charged about $190 dollars. As a college student at the time living almost an hour away and no reminder I was thoroughly upset. And was determined to not be back. After the pandemic I really needed to get my teeth cleaned and just decided to suck it up and try again. So I called Ahn dental to get an appointment. I spoke to the lady for a short while confirming I had the same insurance and billing address, talked about how my family all goes to Ahn, and that I hadn't been in a while. I even asked her to confirm with me what the cancelation policy was. I had an appointment the following week at 4pm. Looking forward to it I arrived early and when I got to the front desk I discovered I had no appointment. (They are suppose to text u a reminder for appointments but I never got one for any of my appointments). They had no record of me being scheduled. I was extremely confused and felt stupid for trying again but I was determined to get my teeth cleaned... I was so close. Finally I got in first thing the following Monday at 8am. They got me all cleaned up and took my X-rays. I then sat in the chair with no information for about 15 min until someone told me they were waiting for the doctor to arrive. Nearly 30min later the doctor finally arrived. I gave this place so many chances and each time I left upset and disappointed. If anyone is looking for a dentist... look somewhere else. read more

I had veneers put on my four front teeth in 1995, and over the years one of them cracked at the gumline, while the others were intact. Other dentists had told me they must replace all four of my veneers because it's too difficult to make just one match the others, but Dr. Ahn replaced the cracked veneer and did an absolutely amazing job of matching color, shape, etc. I was thrilled I didn't have to spend the money on the other 3. In addition to the beautiful work, I have to say, she gave absolutely painless shots! She is a highly skilled cosmetic dentist and I am very happy with her work, as well as her very nice personality. I've been going to this dental office since the early 2000's and have never had a problem. My appointments are always on time, the staff is friendly and the hygienists are skilled and painless. Prior to Dr. Ahn taking over, when Dr. Ochi was still in practice, I had a problem with one of my front teeth moving apart from the others. After getting very expensive estimates from several other dentists for various fixes, including full braces, Dr. Ochi created a retainer for me for an inexpensive price, and also discovered what was causing the tooth to "migrate," and filed down a bottom tooth that had moved into a position such that it was pushing my top tooth out of alignment. I was so grateful to have a simple inexpensive solution. I've been very happy overall with this office for many years. read more
