This is one of many breweries around the South Bay, but it definitely stands out because there's so much to do. There are plenty of games and entertainment. They even have a pinball room and if you're lucky, sometimes it's free play. There's also a pool table room. My only complaint is that during hot days there's no AC, so it can get pretty warm inside. Next to the pool room, there are even more pinball machines, shuffleboard, darts, and a seating area with lots of card games. If you check out their Instagram, they post which food vendors will be there since they don't have a kitchen. This is probably one of my go-to breweries because of all the entertainment plus the alcohol options, they have both beer and wine. The day I visited, there were musicians outside, and inside they were hosting trivia. The bartender was friendly too.

Stopped by on Friday (2/28/26) for their comedy night and it was on another level. It's hard to find good comedy nights these days, but their lineup was really funny. They do it every other Friday and I'll definitely be back. First time here and I loved how big the space is, plus there are over 10 pinball machines. Great place to hang out.

It was kind of a bummer that you weren't there in time to try some of the food. So it's definitely on my list to come back and try again. I had plenty of questions about all the different beers and the server was super helpful on helping me. Decide what I wanted. I decided on the imperial red ale. Which was definitely more like a male or a stout with a bright red sweetness to it. Very refreshing. The decor in the vibe definitely felt Hermosa Beach to me. I really enjoyed the fun vibe and ambience, which was relaxing. They had too many great choices to select from. Which could either be a great thing or could spell some trouble. Unfortunately, it was not the last stop so I had to practice some refrain.

To me, it's a solidly ok taproom. Beers are ok, vibe is ok. Parking is rough if you aim for their lots but parallel spots on the street are easier. There usually arent many people here. They have a large collection of pinball machines which is what sort of sets them apart from other local breweries. They also make their own wines which is unique but I havent tried those yet.

Hubbers called an audible and instead of dining at home, he suggested I check out these digs. He's been (with Big Bro and SIL) and he thought I might just enjoy it. Came through around 7pm-ish and this place is poppin'! All the spots on their private lot was taken and the first available street parking was over a block away! We were afraid we might not get an outdoor table since we had the with us. We got lucky: we scored the last one! I wasn't too focused on the brew since I was tunnel visioned with hAngerism. They had a vendor selling burgers and chips so Hubbers out in orders for us and got us brews as we waited. And talk about entertainment: it's karaoke night! Guests were putting their requests in, and although they were pretty good, it's the bartender and the DJ who stole the show! Amazing voices! Our food was ready by the time Hubbers came back with our first round of drinks. They had three kinds of hef's that night (we ended up having all of them - sorry, can't remember the names!) and they all paired pretty well with the grub. (Can't remember the name of the vendor either, I really should take more pictures!) We were entertained as we drank and ate. FOOD: 4. SERVICE: 4. VALUE: 3. PARKING: Private lot and street parking. It gets busy! OVERALL: 3.75. I'd consider it a family spot: there are tons of pinball machines and a couple of old school arcade games. Some brought their kids - as young as a few weeks old. So come down, bring the kids! (But please drink responsibly! Precious cargo!) We had a great time! They shut down at 9pm on weekdays, so if you feel like having a nightcap, this might be a good place to do it!

Good selection of beer mostly consisting of IPAs but they do have a few sours. The best part about this place is all of the pinball machines they have. They have around 15 all in great condition. Also had a shuffle board table and lots of space to play board games.

Gonna keep it brief. Cool ambiance (can see brewing equipment, large open front door, side room with arcade games, large bulb string lights outside), reasonable prices, gluten free alcoholic options, and cool staff. Come here for a chill good time. For the non beer drinkers in the house, they offer seltzer on tap now! PRO TIP: ask the bartender to mix half blueberry lemon and half passion fruit. Gives the perfect balance of sweet versus dry. I got it, my friend tasted it and then he got it, you could be the next.

This place rocks!! Super good beers!! Super nice service, and super cool setting. They even got a cool little relax room with pinball and couches. Local food trucks daily, various daily changes. We tried a few beers and they were top quality. I loved the red ale that was bourbon barrel aged, so good. Cant wait to go back and try more beer and get some food truck goodness.

This place is super new to the area, so my husband and I decided to give it a shot on Valentine's day before going to dinner reservations. It was pretty empty seeing as it was a Monday and it was also the day after the Superbowl. The staff is super laid back and are happy to talk about beer you're curious about trying. They have a bunch of arcade games in the game room as well as decks of Uno, and a Jenga set. There's a tall stack of Beer Paper to read if you're flying solo and a water tap to hydrate. They have food trucks a few times a week as well! The ambiance is very laid back and casual. One note for who put the plants on the walls--succulents need lots of direct sun and warmth. :) Will return on the weekend when it's much busier!

Yes, there's benches and a small faux grass area. But these benches, let me tell you, are T.R.A.S.H.! As much foot traffic comes through here, it's down right disappointing and shows how cheap a business can be. Like I said, the beers good, but when you sit on benches that I wouldn't donate to a public school, that a big oh hell no. It's been like this for at least the last 3-4 years. My family and I have come to this brewery many times to celebrate birthdays and special occasions…read more Unfortunately, over the past couple visits, I've noticed the customer service has steadily declined. It feels like the staff is more concerned with getting out exactly at closing time than making guests feel welcomed and valued. Our last visit on 06/25/2026 was, by far, the worst experience we've ever had here. We were celebrating my stepdaughter's birthday with a large group. As closing time approached, one of our family members still had a nearly full beer. Without any warning or politely letting us know it was time to finish up, a tall white male employee (who refused to provide his name when asked) simply walked up and took the beer off the table. What made it even more frustrating was that there were other tables around us with guests who also had drinks, yet our party was the only one singled out. To make matters worse, we had brought a birthday cake to celebrate. We politely asked another short female employee for a few plastic plates and utensils so we could cut the cake before leaving. We were told no because they were closing. This has never been an issue during our previous birthday celebrations here. These were disposable plastic plates and utensils that would have gone straight into the trash, so refusing such a simple request came across as pure unwillingness to provide basic customer service. I spent 10 years working in the food and hospitality industry before starting my current career, so I understand exactly what closing a restaurant or brewery entails. I know employees want to leave on time, but I also know that providing good customer service until the last guest leaves is part of the job. If customers need to wrap things up, there is a respectful way to communicate that. You don't take someone's drink without warning, and you don't refuse a simple request that would have taken less than a minute. Everyone in our party left upset and disappointed. It was honestly embarrassing to watch employees treat loyal customers this way. This brewery used to be our go-to place for birthdays, but after this experience, we will not be returning. I rarely write negative reviews because I understand everyone has bad days. However, this experience was unacceptable. I sincerely hope management addresses the lack of hospitality and provides better customer service training, because the employees working that evening did not represent the level of service that keeps loyal customers coming back. Both the female worker with tattoos and piercings and the tall male were extremely rude when confronted. If you choose to visit, just be aware that if you're there close to closing time, your experience may depend more on how quickly the staff wants to leave than on making you feel like a valued guest.

Apparently, everyone else in the South Bay had the same idea because the place was absolutely humming. Parking can sometimes be a challenge, just be patient. Fortunately, we had reservations and were quickly seated in a roomy table tucked away in the back corner. It turned out to be prime real estate: enough privacy for conversation, but still a great vantage point to take in the entire restaurant. The patio out front might be even better, though, if you're into people-watching. Catalina Avenue on a Friday night offers no shortage of entertainment. But for our group, this table was perfect. The interior has a warm, industrial feel, exposed brick, dark wood, metal accents, garage-style doors, and televisions scattered throughout. Oddly, the Dodgers game wasn't on. Maybe they don't get SportsNet LA. I never bothered to ask because the conversation at our table was far more enjoyable. Let's address the elephant in the room: Friday-night service. The place was packed, and our server was clearly running a marathon. He's usually stationed behind the bar, sports a sleeve of tattoos, looks super fit, and carries a permanent smile. He worked hard all evening, but there were some significant stretches where my Ikasu Ikasu West Coast IPA ($11) sat empty with no rescue in sight. A man can only stare sadly at an empty pint glass for so long. We started with the poutine fries, crispy fries loaded with gravy, skirt steak, mornay sauce, Gruyère, and green onions. They were outstanding and disappeared so quickly that I remembered to take a photo only after the massacre had already occurred, see my picture, LOL. Our server redeemed himself with his entrée recommendation: The Philly. Thinly sliced ribeye, grilled onions, sweet and hot peppers, house sauce, all piled into a sesame roll. It was fantastic, messy, savory, and exactly what you want from a cheesesteak. My wife paired a Harmonia Mango Wheat ($11) with the Blue Cheese Avocado Burger ($20), a hefty seven-ounce burger topped with melted blue cheese, grilled onions, avocado, applewood bacon, and arugula. She was a happy camper. Our friends split the same burger and also ordered the hummus appetizer, adding filet mignon on top. Excellent call, I snuck a few bites! To their credit, at the end of the evening our server came back to the table, apologized for the pacing, and made amends with a complimentary Crafted Cookie: a warm chocolate-chip cookie topped with vanilla ice cream. At the end of the day, restaurants are about more than perfect timing and topped-off beers. They're about sharing stories, laughing with friends, and breaking bread with people you enjoy being around. The service had its ups and downs, but the food was solid, the atmosphere lively, and Riviera Village on a summer Friday night is hard to beat.
