My husband and I flew in from DC for our honeymoon in LA and decided to get tatted at Sinless Tattoo. At first, everything seemed great. Our artist, Arvin, was nice and "seemed" to have done a good job on our tattoos. However, as days passed by we noticed that my husbands tattoo started to fade/come off. We reached out to the store to find a solution, and the manager ALEX was extremely RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL. I even called and did not get an opportunity to speak. I was talked over and hung up on. He blocked my number as soon as I tried to call back. This is by far the WORST experience I've had ANYWHERE. The shop is VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and I will definitely be REPORTING IT. As with all business, reviews must be current or they are basically useless. This is 2022. Sinless is a top notch tattoo establishment that is going through staff changes. In 2021 owner Alex chose one good artist and gave several a chance. This year I am curious what I will see. I already know the owner is skilled and both the art and finding talent. That is the key to running a valued business. I am excited to see who has their hand next. I have had a few tattoos done at Sinless and could not be happier. I will update again in 2022. I have high hopes and know during they journey of restaffing, Alex (the owner will fulfill the most quality pieces to be had. That said, the job of an owner is to run the show and find up comers that can do a place proud. I have no doubt this will be the case as have been 2021. Employees leave, usually because many have lost the patience to put in the time to be great. Others just need to go. I base my reviews on what I see, how I feel, I try to be unbiased. When I have been treated and worked on with original art in a blissful way, I will take the time to review. Been here twice so far and lemme just say if you're looking to get pierced Kaelin's your girl. She changed my tragus jewelry I had done a year prior with a gun and got me to the size I needed to be. I came back a couple weeks later for an industrial. She placed it perfectly and gave super detailed after care instructions. Definitely using her again. Came back and sadly Kaelin no longer works here but Jess did a killer job. I got a pair of daith barbells and I'm in love!! She was super easy to talk to and once again I had a great experience. This is a great shop in the south bayif youre ever looking to get pierced. Overdue but Jess did a great job until i realised the day after she pierced the wrong part of my ear twice. She was griendly and offered to fix it for free when i told her but why would i go back if she couldn't get it right the first time. Not coming back. read more

Today I went in to get an industrial piercing. This was my second time getting this piercing. The first one closed up due to the surgeons taking out my piercing to do surgery when I got into a car accident. Xyborg did my piercing. He was very professional and he recommended we do the piercing over the previous closed up holes. The piercing itself hurt quite a bit. I have many piercings, and this one was by far the most painful. The scar tissue made it difficult to get the needle through. He had to push really hard to get it in. It wasn't his fault, since we didn't realize that there was a large amount of scar tissue there. The second hole he had to pierce thru popped right in with very little pain. The previous piercer made my industrial real high on my ear, xyborg lined it up perfectly!! I liked the other guys in the shop as well. They were really cool and made me feel comfortable. While I was waiting, I looked through the tattoo artists example books and realized that these guys are really good! I'm definitely going to come back and get some Ink from them next. The only reason I'm rating them 4 stars instead of 5, is because he didn't really explain to me how to take care of the piercing after. First let me say i am scary and have a low tolerance for pain. Now that i have gotten that out of the way on to the review. This place was awesome. Very neat, clean, and professional. I acted like a scared child but the staff made me feel supported and okay. It did not take long and the Xyborg( hope i spelled it right) was really good. If you are getting something permanent and risky on your body i say go to real professionals. At first i thought it was a little pricey but for the quality and experience it was well worth the price. Rare do I feel the need to write a review, but I'm unhappy, out the money for this tattoo and whatever it will cost to fit it so.... Walked in on a weekend for a long wanted but spontaneous tattoo (not my first). Guys seemed nice, spot was small but clean. Don't be fooled. After a few failed tries on his font app, I freehand cursive wrote my tattoo and he (Darnell/Darell?) created the stencil. It was dope thinking my writing would be tattooed on me but damn his actual line work is shit. The first (F) and last letters (E) were too thick, the T came to a stop before connecting to the E. It should look thin and flowing like my writing, instead its thick, over lined and blotchy. And in the 15 mins it took me to drive back after seeing up close what it looked like....He claimed the manager (Alex) had magically come by and already taken the cash. Convenient. Wish I'd waited and gone to someone more experienced with line work or tattooing in general. Hopefully it heals faded enough that another artist can go over it. First off let me start off by saying that I am NOT a tattoo artist but I do have tattoos myself. I cannot believe the work that was allowed at this establishment, to leave a customer looking the way he did when he left. I am not at liberty to say the artist name, but it is very apparent that she does not have a lot of experience. If she was unable to do the work, why would she do it? The lines are uneven, the actual figures of the soldiers are disproportioned, the outline of the flag itself is shaken and don't even get me started on the barbed wiring :( the price tag was $140.00 and it's going to cost more to cover it up. I was in LA for the weekend and decided to treat myself to a tattoo. Aside from finding good reviews at this location, I was given an unfortunate tattoo. I would have hoped someone who wasn't confident doing line work (as it was literally a simple two line cross) would have denied the service to me but instead I got a crooked, non symmetrical cross behind my ear which is thicker on one side, crooked at the bottom and has a weird dot in the middle of it. The artist was very kind and funny but unfortunately that's not what will be stuck with me forever. Fortunately, I am back home and able to have my guy fix it, where I will have to pay, again. I will also have to keep this hidden until it is fixed in 3-8 weeks after it's good and healed. This should have been the easiest tattoo I have, yet regretfully, it is the complete opposite. In addition, I was also left with ink all over my neck and in my hair, no after care instructions which luckily I didn't need as I have many tattoos. Based on the portfolios of the artists I assume good work comes out of this shop but unfortunately not for me.. feeling like I was someone's guinea pig. read more

I went here about 3 weeks ago to get my nose pierced. I didn't have to wait long before Xyborg took me to the back for my turn. I explained to him that I had the piercing once before, several years ago, and I was wondering if it was okay to just pierce it again in the same spot, or if that would cause a scar or any additional healing time...etc. He basically looked at me and said, "Okay." So I said, "Okay? So it's okay to pierce in the exact same spot?" And he simply said, "Yeah." So he did the piercing quickly and took off his gloves and again looked at me and said, "Okay." I got up out of the chair and asked him what I should do to clean it, or what I should avoid. He simply told me to "use soap." Really? No shit. He had Bactine sitting on the counter so I asked him if he recommended that for me, and he said, "Yeah." UGH. I had to ask him if he had a printed set of after-care instructions, instead of him just providing one for me. I was annoyed at this point so I turned to walk away and a lady in the waiting area pointed out that my nose was dripping blood from the inside. Xyborg never took the time to wipe or clean it after he pierced it, so I went back to the back room and had to ask him for a disinfecting wipe, which he handed to me without saying a word. Overall, not impressed. So far the piercing is healing well so I guess that's what matters. The shop is pretty small but very clean, parking is kind of a pain, so I would say just park on the street. read more

I was looking for a place near me to get some work done and Sinless came highly recommended by my niece. I went in and spoke to Lucas, who was just adorable! I wanted the shoddy anklet I have covered up and re-done. Lucas said no problem. I came back in a day later with the deposit and handed it to Alex, who was again very sweet. One of the best tattoo experiences I've had and I've had quite a few. Alex does very good work and is really great about gaging the social situation. If you love talking he'll chat it up if you don't he's good and being silent too haha. It may not seem like the most relevant thing to say but if you're gunna be tattooing for hours on end it's good to have someone that won't bother you or will ignore you. Lucas did my tattoo and let me tell y'all my experience. This tattoo was only my second so I was a little naive. He charged me 150 for a small ass piece, but I went for it because I thought "hey, you pay for quality". The end result didn't look like what he drew up. The worst part for me is that HE SCARRED ME. He dug way too deep into my skin so the tattoo is raised, like you could feel it! Don't go to him y'all please. Do some research and find a better shop. read more

Lucas and Andrew were very outgoing and genuine which I really liked cause it made me feel welcomed. I've gone in twice and met up with Lucas.
