After a devilish hike to the wind caves, we were HUNGRY. Not many places are open on Sunday in Logan so we were pleasantly surprised when we drove by and saw a handful of people enjoying their meals on the patio. It didn't matter that we were dusty, sweaty and in our hiking gear. We were greeted with a smile and shown to the patio where the best views are. Lunch was fabulous and very reasonably priced. The service was great, the atmosphere was comfortable and our meals (half club sandwich & salad, taco salad) were both HUGE and amazingly tasty. read more

It has okay food, the service is decent, they have recently changed some recipes but the ambiance is awesome especially if your rich you can get a whole room with nobody else in the room to have food they did change the recipes and it's okay now. read more

Very popular local restaurant. I ordered the custom breakfast were you select 3-4 items. I choice fruit, pancakes, patty sausage and eggs. The eggs were poached perfectly, pancakes were light and fluffy but I felt the sausage was very salty for my taste. My friend ordered the bacon which was light and crispy. The fruit was ok. I would recommend Herm's Inn for families with kids. I would try this place again for lunch or dinner. read more

Herm's Inn is always busy, but the wait is worth it!!! The Greek breakfast is amazing! It comes with eggs, potatoes, avocado, cheese (feta and cheddar) and a pancake! The service was great, the waiter kept our cups filled and bantered with my brothers and their friends. Another thing that impressed me was that he gave the huge party I was with separate checks, and payment is taken care on your way out the door! Stopped in for breakfast after reading the good reviews! Not very busy on a Thursday morning. The experience was definitely underwhelming, unfortunately. Benedict tasted decent, but lacked seasoning and presentation was pretty sloppy. We also got the Mexican skillet, apparently made with local chorizo - but there was sadly 0 spice! Made it somewhat bland. (That's coming from someone with a low heat tolerance.) All in all, the location was clean - very nice and quiet, right next to some pretty nature. But the food was *just* okay and definitely not Instagram-worthy (lol.) Am I curious enough to come back and try some other items on the menu? Maybe. read more

Great food, great atmosphere! Loved the way Herm's utilizes the space in their building--each room has its own distinct feel that contributes to the dining experience. Would definitely recommend one of their skillets and splitting a cinnamon roll with your party (pretty rich to tackle yourself). I don't love Logan, but anytime I go back, Herm's will be on the list of places to eat. read more

For me, Herm's is one of those places I love to visit on vacation and wish I had close to home! The locals are lucky to have such a quality breakfast joint. Our first experience was for breakfast. Both my wife and I took our first bite of food and got wide-eyed with surprise at how good it tasted! It really makes me happy to find a place like this. They have high quality food at a very affordable price. A must try if you are in the area. read more

Woke up excited to go to Herm's and try their breakfast. Found the place very nice (decor wise) but could not recommend either of the dishes my fiancee or I ordered. I had the biscuits and gravy and the gravy did not taste very good. It tasted like there was some artificial sausage flavor that was overpowering the dish. Their potatoes were also not very good, and I think I would have much preferred hash browns, but apparently that's not even an option. Coffee was almost $3 for a cup and my cup sat empty for quite some time between refills. My server was also MIA for most of the time. Better than the usual SYSCO coffee, but still not worth the price. My fiancee ordered the BLT, which had plenty of L, but of the salad greens variety with the purple leaves instead of iceberg. "Is this your first time eating here? Yes, well let me tell you about our specials blah blah blah, when you're done you pay up front." Not a hard thing to implement. Might try and go back for lunch to try a burger, but ultimately we were both disappointed and feel like that $20 could have been better spent elsewhere. read more

What a hidden gem. The charm starts the second you turn left off center street and begin to wind your way through this quaint community. You will know when you arrive, the building is a mix of a bygone era mixed with modern clean lines. The parking and building are all brand new and seem to frame this old filling station. The interior is feast for the eyes with industrial style chairs, exquisitely finished floors and woods on the walls. The food is creatively envisioned, breakfast has never been so inventive. I had the French Toast which was amazing! Everyone at my table loved everything that came to the table. I wanted to taste everything on the menu but this the first time I was ever told no by both my husband and son. If I were a local I wouldn't eat anywhere else, but alas I do not. What a WONDERFUL experiance!! Not only was the food Fabulous (BEST Coffee in town!!) and the service was just as good!!! We were quickly sat, helped and served! We were also able to met the owners and found them VERY friendly and excited to make our dinning experiance wonderful!!! I also LOVED the Decor! It was beautifully remodeled not a single detail missed keeping up with the charm that makes "The Island" such a unique and special part of Cache Valley! I would suggest this resturant to any one!! For a quick bite or a nice place to sit down and have a 2 hour chat while eating the most delicous spinach omelet and a never cool or empty cup of Coffee...or Hot Chocolate for my 4 year old!!! I spent years in Logan wishing that there was a good breakfast joint that would allow me to avoid Angies and the other various chain breakfast joints, and Herm's is that place. This place has great service to go along with breakfast foods that has more of an artisan feel to it. The Corned Beef and Hash, Greek Skillit, and the Steak and Eggs have all been far above the other breakfast joints in town. On top of the great individual meals they have, I've also done the family breakfast they offer, and it feed my family with plenty to spare. The gigantic pancake that comes with it is a huge hit with them. Lots of people rant and rave about their lemon butter, but I find it to be a little overpowering, as their French Toast and Pancakes carry themselves very well without it. read more

The resurrection of Herm's Inn in Logan has been anxiously anticipated and based on my visit this morning, the anticipation has not been misplaced. The service was good, Ryan the manager was on premises and involved and the renovation of the building is top notch having been completed with materials that ooze quality. Often the preparation of the simplest of meals is good criteria for what the rest of the menu will be like. My eggs over medium were perfect, the wheat toast was substansial and the potatoes were crispy outside and creamy inside. There is an emphasis on using local ingredients which helps to insure freshness & quality as well as support our local economy. The management seems to be carrying on the reputation Herm's Inn had in the yesteryear. Kudos! read more

5/5 Stars Amazing experience at Herm's Inn! I ordered the biscuits and gravy along with a turkey and avocado sandwich, both served with breakfast potatoes. The food was absolutely incredible, everything was perfectly prepared and delicious. The biscuits and gravy were comfort food at its finest, and the turkey and avocado sandwich was fresh and satisfying. The breakfast potatoes were the perfect side to round out the meal. The staff was so friendly and welcoming, which made the dining experience even better. Great service to go along with the fantastic food! Definitely coming back! This is a fun location to stop for a quick bite or a light supper. Gourmet corn dogs are a type of Asian street cuisine. They're all fairly tasty and cost $3-4. To be enjoyable, they require a lot of sauce. Ketchup, mustard, cheese mustard, sweet chili, and a few additional sauces are available. Mustard with sweet chili and cheese (tastes like honey mustard). We tried a few of the corn dogs and found them to be rather tasty, even the squid ink ones. I would strongly advise buying one with cheese, especially if you are not a big fan of hotdogs. Overall, a fantastic location. You will appreciate it if you order one with cheese and utilize the sauces. read more

Food-just typical.. has it's ups and downs. The pancake.. way overboard on Cream cheese frosting. Cinnamon flavor=non existent. Eggs have always been rubbery. Coffee-served lukewarm... blech. Service-leaves a lot to be desired. The saving grace is the design of the place. It is beautiful. Fun, and so different for the Logan areal. I always say three times is a charm, so I need to go a fourth time and give it one more time!! We went to Herm's Inn for the first time today, and I have to say that it's the best breakfast that we've had in a long time. It was certainly the best breakfast in Logan! Even though it was extremely busy (we went on a Saturday morning), the service was great, and the food was outstanding. We got a breakfast burrito and the crepes, and had a hard time sharing because they were so good! I think Herm's Inn might become a weekend ritual. Their entrees are bigger than you'd expect for the price, and everything I've had there is wonderful. The atmosphere is rustic, with the mountains just past the windows. My wife and I are big fans, and even had our wedding luncheon there. It's a popular place, and they aren't open for many hours per day, so expect a bit of a wait time. It's worth it. read more

Good food and coffee. Definitely a good place for brunch or breakfast. More expensive than Denny's although the food is probably fairly comparable but in a nicer environment. Seems to have a certain clientele (hipsterish/uppity) but the service has still been pretty good. read more

Two words... Carnitas Skillet! This could be our favorite restaurant in Logan. If you are visiting and looking for a one-of-a-kind place to eat and get awesome food, this is it. The feel of the restaurant is great with some great views year round. Worth every penny. read more
