Their prices are very fair, and we were able to get the service done the same day. We had three guys come out and they worked so hard and had incredible attention to detail. Seriously, we've gone through three different lawn services in our yard has not looked as good ever. We had weeds pulled by hand, hedges trimmed and shaped, a tree cut back, and hazardous branch removed from a large tree and hauled away. These guys were also so neat. everything was collected in reusable bags as they worked, and when done it was packed up . They even used leaf blowers to get all the small pieces away after. I am blown away by the service and look forward to working with the team for the foreseeable future :)

The crew worked meticulously to get the drain angle just right for the drainage. To accomplish the task, they had to use a jackhammer to get through all of the limestone. Note: It was ~100 degrees the day they were here. They worked tirelessly all day to get the job just right. When they finished testing the drain, they put all of the plants back in there places and added more mulch to make it look fresh. After talking to a few pest companies, not only did they get the species of ants wrong (acrobat vs carpenter) which affects the bait being used, but they also can't get their story straight. I contacted them about an ant infestation inside my home. The technician who came out placed sugar bait inside to eliminate colony. He told me that an exterior treatment was not necessary at that time. I accepted that recommendation, due to potential exposure for my active dog. Months later, I called to follow up because the ant problem had not been resolved. I was then told the $216.50 treatment of simply adding sugar bait for the interior also included exterior treatment during the original visit. That was surprising because I was never told an exterior treatment had been done. When I asked where it had been applied, they did not give me a clear answer regarding the exterior. Paying for another treatment isn't the issue. If the ants require another visit, I'm happy to pay for it. My concern is that the explanation of what was actually done has changed. Now, they're saying I have to pay another $216 for their services again. Something just isn't adding up. If there's a reasonable explanation, I'd like to hear it. Based on the conflicting information, I have little confidence in their service.

Used to be pretty good, but they've gone way downhill. I had to pester them over and over to get work done at my place, because -- no lie -- the landscaper they contracted to clean my gutter **didn't have a ladder** to do the job. I live in a one story ranch, and I've cleaned my own gutters with an 8 foot ladder. That was the start of the debacle; ten days later someone finally did the work I basically never post a negative review but they've earned it. Judging from recent reviews this seems to be a pattern too, and since their email replies are sporadic at best I'm going to post my honest feedback here. I scheduled service for Aug 30. When it wasn't completed by Sep 1, I sent an email. A day after that, with no service and no reply, I wrote back and stated I'd have to dispute the charges if there was no reply. I got a reply that UMOW would call the landscaper. A day later, no reply, so I email again. Then a day after that, finally a reply: "We've talked to the landscaper and said they don't have the ladder to do the job. " A) I live in a one story house, if he had any kind of ladder he could do the job and B) UMOW should have figured out the service didn't happen and done something about it. And then the icing on the cake: "We will do our best to finish it this week." After it had been six days already and I had to send multiple emails to get a single reply. I replied back, upset, and said that wasn't enough and asked what UMOW was going to do about it. I was offered a 10% refund (all of $9) which I accepted and was told the work would be done the next day (Monday) or Tuesday "with a big priority on Monday". Well Wednesday rolls around with no service, so I send another angry email. No reply, but today (Thursday) someone finally came out to the house. It took TEN DAYS and five emails from me to get this simple job done. After I prepaid for the service. A 10% refund after I had to ask for it and barely getting the work done is not good enough. I've used this service for years but I'm incredibly unhappy with it now and UMOW hasn't done nearly enough to make it right. read more

I'm not the type that leaves reviews. I only read them. And I felt like going with UMOW is a small gamble for convenience. Long story short, they did a great job with communication and getting the extra details I requested done right. I have a relatively large lawn and a backyard that takes some navigation and detail to get done right. These guys did it right, and I didn't have any issues reaching them and getting them on the phone to discuss what I needed in detail. I've seen the negative reviews, and I really think this is a team that's trying hard to get their business done right. In all, I'm satisfied and they made it easy. read more

UMOW is very simple to use. What I like best is that you don't have to play phone or email tag with anyone. The online interface is clean and straightforward. What I like best is that you can use this service for a one-time job. I used it to have my newly installed Zoysia lawn mowed for the first time. The grass was very high and I wanted it bagged in order to not leave a thick pile of clippings behind. I plan on mowing it myself from now on but this first mowing and bagging would have been too much work for me. UMOW was seriously the best experiences of my life. My lawn was overgrown thanks to an accident I had with my leg and I couldn't walk for 3 weeks. It wasn't literally a jungle back there, the grass was well over 9" tall. I was calling all sorts of lawn services and no one answered except for UMOW. The process to book online wasn't easy and UMOW came one day EARLIER than expected and cut and trimmed in places that have never been trimmed before. I will definetly be using them again. I needed my lawn cut on short notice. It was getting tall, like, I was expecting a herd of Velociraptors to emerge at any time. A friend recommended UMOW so I jumped on and scheduled them for a Friday. I got an email Thursday stating that they would be there, and sure enough, they were there around 10:30 AM. They did a solid job of knocking down the jungle and their edging was better than I've ever done. This is the third time that I have used UMOW services. This by far was superior to the first two times. The first two times that I used UMOW the quality and service was good enough for me to use them again but today the team that came out went above and beyond the other two teams. This time the yard was well trimmed, cut evenly and they even blew the clippings off of my sidewalk and drive way! I live on a corner and have a very wide driveway and side walks all around. The mow service I requested was not performed on the day scheduled and the following day I called to ask when it would be. Someone came out the next day and mowed the lawn, but did not pick up any clippings as requested. Several spots were also not mowed but "pushed over", creating thick thatch that has since killed the grass underneath. They left a large pile of leaves next to my front flower bed - which I bagged - because I have a large party at my house this evening and wanted to yard to look nice. I find UMOW very seamless. I can schedule whenever I want within a couple of days of notice. I don't have to sign up for a regular plan. I normally mow my lawn myself but need someone to take care of it for me sometimes when I am too busy, and UMOW works perfectly for that situation. The great thing is they don't have contracts so you aren't stuck if you aren't happy with the service. They are also extremely flexible with time frames and can do everything you may need done. I started out only having them come out once a month because it was during the summer, but as spring rolled around I was able to ask that they come out more often. I have also had them to do additional things like removing some bushes from a few beds and off a fence line, spray to keep the weeds at bay, and even do a deep dive on the beds before a recent party I had.... And it's always at a good price. Any time I call to see if something can be done Tim is on top of it. He's also just a really nice guy and always eager to help, and the guys he sends out are amazing as well. They are super friendly, do a great job, and they are always open to talk if I have any special requests or things I'd like for them to be careful of while they are here. Can't thank them enough for what they do! Highly recommend.

Last Wednesday they came (the next time after the issue a few weeks ago) and once again did only the front yard then left. I called the company again to complain. They remembered the last incident and I was told a manager would be informed and someone would call me back. Here we are a week later and still no communication. In my opinion this is akin to stealing. I paid for the whole yard to be done but only a half job was completed. I have no idea how many times this has happened and I didn't notice, but I suspect quite often. The worst part, though, is that management never bothered to call me back or remedy the situation. That's terrible customer service. So, today I called them to discontinue their services. The person who answered recognized me. She made NO mention of my complaint and didn't ask why I was letting them go. It's clear there was absolutely no intention to provide us the service we paid for nor even acknowledge the situation. So, they're fired.

I have worked Denton lawn care for several years and I did not many complaints with their work…read more However, over the last year, they continued mowing my yard sometimes in the winter months even though it did not need it. They also started showing up for doing weed treatments without informing me so I could keep my dogs in to limit their exposure. Also this spring they showed up cut back weeds without informing me they were coming. I began to feel like I had no control over when they were coming or how much they charging me. I would occasionally would get large bills and with no itemezation. When I asked for itemezation, I either would not hear from them, or I would only receive partial itemezation. I'm sorry, but I feel like have right to ask what I'm paying for. Obviously we are not working with them anymore.
