Asked for alignment and balance, also 4 tire replacement. Waited almost 2 hours! This other guy showed up after me and they skipped me and gave him the alignment first! Also when I first drove up, no one came up to me so I had to ask who can help me. They are very unorganized and they do not give you any updates on your wait time. They are Rude at best. All I can say is these guys are AMAZING! I was a little nervous because I had to leave work to get my tire fixed and wasn't sure how long it would take. Let me tell you, I pulled in the bay and was back at work in 20 minutes. These guys displayed the true meaning of teamwork! They were very courteous, efficient and had smiles on their faces. If you ever need anything done to your tires Hernandez Tire Shop is the place to go!! (I went to the one on Hardy) because it was closer to my work, but they have two locations in Hattiesburg. My parents told me about this place, so we just stopped by and asked how much would it be and if they could replace a muffler. Just terrible. Spent too much money for the problem to still be there. No one knew what was going on with it and they say their mechanics. Oh wells I guess, better off going to jaimes tire shop, it's cheap and those guys get you in and out or will tell you what's wrong with your car. Older people have more experience or just care more for your car rather than money. Update: Got home to find out that they actually broke my lug nut. They said they knew who it was BUT IF YOU KNOW WHO IT IS doesn't that mean they've done it BEFORE too?? Why keep someone like that working there? So I have issues with getting flats. According to my husband I run over everything. In my defense I swear it wasn't there. Hernandez has always been helpful and cheap for the numerous patches and removal of nails of my driving adventures. They are always super fast and pleasantly staffed. I'm usually in and out in about 10 minutes or less. Removals of nails and patches usually run about $5. Great pluses on their side that keep me coming back a insignificant bit more than my husband is aware of. read more

They must have taken one of there friends because someone just came an got serviced, spoke to another worker an said ok they'd get to me but never did. After 4,500 spent on tires and wheels that ended up rubbing and still trying to get the problem fixed and keep getting the run around. no sense of urgency to correct the problem. Should have made them take the tires off that day if they couldn't fixed the problem. So don't leave with the promise that they will fix the problem because they won'! They already have your money! They patched up my tire earlier in the day and in the same day became flat again. Went back just to get help switch out the tire so that we can put the spare and they were so lazy that they kept on saying they were closed when it was at least 15 minutes till closing. Keep in mind this was an older lady asking guys to help switch out a tire. read more

This place is the worst auto service I've ever experienced. I went in for an alignment. He said the price is around 50$. I get there, and the mechanic tells me I need new bushings for the front end. I said ok, and when I asked about the rear end, he said it doesn't get aligned, that it is just a straight axle. Later, I learned, that was a lie. The rear end does get aligned. The mechanic lied to my face. He charged me 550 dollars for an incomplete alignment and some bushings. I sat there waiting for four hours (there's almost nowhere to sit btw, besides one small bench and the sidewalk). Eventually, the shop had to close, so he worked on my truck in a rush. He didn't even test drive it! On the way home, I noticed that the entire steering wheel is now shaking badly, and it pulls far to the left. i.e., IT WAS NOT ALIGNED. And to get a warrant was extra. I didn't have more money than the 550 he charged me, so I trusted his word that my truck was aligned. I have never wasted more money in my entire life than I did at this shop. This place is the worst. DO NOT GO HERE. You will be ripped off. Save your money for someplace better. read more

Poor service and customer service- they don't take ownership for poor mechanical work. I had mechanic Juan, service my car and kept my vehicle for 3 days total- having to find a ride up to the shop twice only to get my car back with lights on and my car shaking and then to have to leave it for another day and then again another day. After picking up my car for the 3rd time and oil service light cleared, the very next day, the tire I had replaced popped and service light is back on my dashboard. I called and spoke with the manager and all he had to say is tires pop, bring the car back to replace the tire and "your car had problems to begin with" in regards to the same light on my dashboard- yes I agree my car had problems which is the whole reason I payed $600 worth of mechanical work and was without a car for 3 business days! First and last time I will visit Hernandez tire shop on Pleasanton rd! Waste of money and now having to go elsewhere to have work done correctly ‍ read more

I've shown up a few times here to get a tire changed out. First time they told me they were too busy and couldn't get to my car before closing time, ok so I went home and changed the tire myself! Well I show up today around 3 pm to have 4 tires changed... online it says their hours are 10-5 on a Sunday! Ok I thought I had enough time. I pull in and everyone is sitting outside drinking beer and all the bays are closed and locked for the day! If you aren't going to be open the hours you have online then maybe you should change them so I don't drive an hour away from home only to see y'all decided to close early to drink. I'm better off changing the tires myself but thought since I'm 8 months pregnant I'd have someone do it for me!! read more

DO NOT GO THERE. Please go somewhere else I've been there 2 times, first time was my husband, he got a full tune up.... ok so then I go to get my brakes replaced, we purchased the brakes they replaced them. So I go into labor a day later my husband drove me I did not leave my house for 2 weeks, then on the 3rd week I was driven by my mom inlaw in her car so by the 4th week (painful surgery so I just stayed home w my newborn alot) by the 4th week I finally hop in my car and realize my brakes are SQUEEKING really bad, it didn't even squeek like that when they actually weren't working. They work but they are crazy loud so obviously something went wrong BUT after 3 wks I just couldn't be helped. Anyway now my husband's truck isn't driving as smooth and decides he should give it a tune up and decides he's going to save some money and do it himself, to his surprise his spark plugs that should have been switched out 10 months prior at hernandez appears to be 3 yrs plus OLD they were in horrible condition one was very hard to get off, afterwards his truck ran way better, a knocking even stopped that he had when he purchased the truck. This place is full of scammers now that my husband is changing my brakes HIMSELF this week I wanna see exactly what brakes are on my car cause I wouldn't be surprised if it's not even the ones I purchased. read more
