CD Tire decided to take down my Google review that showed how royally bad their service was to a single woman where they lied and said they repaired my transmission after they robbed me of over $4,000 and did absolutely nothing besides make me buy a new transmission somewhere else! Don't worry, I have contacted the BBB over this and your failed actions!! I keep the $4,000 receipt from Gato and his lies that we're told on my desk as a reminder that he and his shop are the worst "mechanics" I've ever dealt, even 2 years later. read more

I came by the previous day to inquire about brake service. I was told 65$ if u bring equipment. Decided to add an oil change. They tell me I got the wrong brakes, they tell me due to my type of car need calibration. Wasnt told they his before.. all in all it ended up being 300$ f these guys. read more

Visit 1: Crystal is on top of things here. Walked in on a Saturday, told her which dash lights are on in my Prius, and she knows what's needed. She asks if I'd prefer premium or regular for my oil change, and adds it should be $28 and that they don't charge for adding air to the tires. I pull the car up to the bay, chat with Ray for a bit, walk in, hand her my key, watch the ending of a movie in their waiting room, and Ray is done! They get busy since they're one of the few auto shops open on Saturdays, just plan on about an hour wait. Visit 2: Noticed my warning dash lights were still on, called them and they confirmed the have the machine to reset them. Brought in my Prius, had them take a look, and Andre informs me one of my tire pressure sensors needed replacement, causing the tire pressure light to remain on, which caused the maintenance light to stay on as well. Andre estimated the part would arrive in 20 min, installation would take an hour max. I paid for part & installation up front. got a ride for an errand, called back in an hour, and the car was ready. Whew. Note: ask them to reset your warning dash lights once they finish maintenance. They forgot mine so I brought it back during visit 2 with my maintenance receipt and they reset the lights, no additional charge. read more

I was in town for vacation with my family and my car broke down. I towed my vehicle to this location and was told they would work on my vehicle asap to get me and my family on the road again. That was Tuesday, Wednesday I called and asked for an update, the mechanic was "test driving the vehicle" and I would get a call back. Wednesday evening I did get a call and said they were test driving it again and they will let me know the outcome. Thursday morning, I called again and Crystal, again told me "he's test driving it I'll call you back" Thursday afternoon rolled around and I called to get an update. I was told that it was out of their scope and had to go to a different shop because they didn't have the skills to do the "electrical work needed". After getting it to a different shop I called and was given a diagnosis within minutes, a bad Throttle body sensor and bad oil pressure sensor.... I called Back the this original garbage shop and asked why I was told it was being test driven and being diagnosed when they never actually did anything to help fix my vehicle except buy themselves time to work on it by lying to me and saying it was "on the lift" when I called and talked to the owner and he finally admitted that he only has one mechanic working on 7+ vehicles and he was just too busy. Poor business practices, LIARS, wanted to charge me $145 for what I am still unclear about since the only time they touched my suv was to take it to a different shop. Do your research and don't use this location for anything if you can help it. read more

Had my engine swapped out. Great family business, fair prices, honest and expert advice. These guys are always busy for a reason. Thanks to Andre and Tony! update...these guys installed a used engine and didnt hook up the tranny correctly. this caused my transmission to fail. i should have sued. instead i had em put in a used tranny. didnt have time due to pcs'ing, im in the army. andre is a straight up lier. told me i had a napa 1 year warranty. took me for about 3 grand. stay away from these jokers. read more

CD Auto. The truth is in the name because this place is definitely "Seedy" and a joke. My partner and I have brought our cars here a handful of times for alignments and tire patches with absolutely no problems, but today was a completely different story. My partner took his car in to get a simple patch done on his tire as he had a nail in it. Guy takes the tire off no problem and we wait for him to patch it and put it back on the car. All of a sudden we hear this awful grinding coming from the impact wrench which could only mean that the lug nuts weren't being put back in properly and were being stripped inside the hub. The mechanic proceeds to force the lug nuts into the holes, stands up and says he's done when 2 of the lug nuts are clearly crooked and sticking out further than the rest. So my partner asks him to please fix it since he doesn't want the lug nuts to come flying off as he's driving. The man proceeds to take the lug nuts off again, inspects them and says "These are bad. They're stripped." THEY'RE BAD BECAUSE HE STRIPPED THE THREAD FORCING THEM INTO THE HUB!!! My partner explains this to him and the mechanic says "No, your hub was rusted and not put in properly, that's why it stripped. Plus, the bolts were difficult to take off, so it's not my fault." REALLY, GUY?! Didn't look like you were struggling to take it off. So the mechanic brings out his manager, if you can call him that, because he had some of the worst customer service I've ever seen in a "manager". Basically, all this guy does is reiterate what the mechanic already said and doesn't hold any responsibility for his employee and blames it all on my partner. Whatever happened to customer service and "the customer is always right?". What a joke. I should add, this is a relatively new car (2016), not a junker and is well taken care of. DO NOT GO TO CD (SEEDY) AUTO. Unless you want to come away with your vehicle messed up and have it blamed on you. read more

I am used to being taken advantage of by auto shops because I'm a single female, however I know cars so it ticks me off when someone lies and tries to charge me for unnecessary stuff. I have more than once been amazed at not only how quick these guys are but how they will be completely honest and tell me when I don't need to spend money or a few years ago when they told me "just sell the car, it isn't worth fixing, you'll just need to fix something else in a few months." So I was told about this shop from a coworker, as I walked in you could tell that business was good. I asked the gentleman behind the counter how much four brake changes would cost and he politely informed me of the set price. Yes, a set price, no hidden fees or even "suggested" add ons! Kevin and Crystal are excellent, well educated, readily available to explain in detail what issues need to be addressed in order to have your vehicle in good working condition. I cannot say enough good things about CD Tire and Auto and the way Andre and his entire staff took care of us on a Saturday afternoon not too long ago. We are from Houston and had come to SA for a conference. On our way out of town on I-10 the engine light came on and our car would not go above 30 miles per hour. We managed to get off the freeway and yelped the closest place that was even still open on a Saturday. We are not familiar with SA and had no idea where we were but found our way to CD. Although they were very busy and working hard, they squeezed us in and took a look at the car and it was unfortunately the transmission. They helped us over the next couple of hours track down a uhaul rental and dolly to tow our car back to Houston, actually strapped it on/loaded it for us even and offered to feed us as we were waiting. I cannot tell you how kind,honest and caring everyone was. They took the time to help a stranger in need and treated us like family. Andre even gave me his cell phone number in case we had trouble on the way home. Our world would be a much better place if there were more people like Andre and his staff. We are grateful and were truly blessed by them. I wished I lived closer to SA because I would drive across town to take my car to CD. read more

They have done work on my son's 2002 Mercury Sable, brothers 2001 Ford Expedition, and my mothers 2005 Mercury Crown Victoria. I am pleased to write this very favorable review. Recently, I took my car back to CD Tire because I was experiencing a problem with my lights. i explained to the manager that weeks before I had come there and one of the mechanics there had worked on the lights. I explained that I felt he may have erred in the connection because I now was experiencing a situation where I couldn't turn off my ignition - unless I messed with the lights. I told him that was very scary for me, and he remarked, "yes ma'am, that IS a very scary situation, but don't worry, we'll take care of it". (The manager made no attempt to doubt my words or challenge me in any way.) Instead, he looked up my previous service visit in the computer, then he in called in another technician, explained the problem that I was having and the technician worked on it and repaired it. The car was ready in a short time - and not only did the manager carefully and apologetically explain in detail to me what had happened, but when I was going into my purse to get my credit card for the payment, I asked how much was the cost of the repair. Now please get this part - the manager waved off my credit card and said, "Oh no, ma'am - there is no charge". I actually got tears in my eyes because I had an unscheduled expense earlier that day, and now had to pay for this repair, but I would have had to delay payment of another important bill. I thanked him with tears in my eyes and told him, "I have been a customer for years" (and he nodded that he remembered me). I let him know that I would continue to come there for auto repairs". I just wanted all of you to know that CD Tire and Auto Center is a fair and honest place to do business with, and the management are ethical people. (I mean who in auto repairs, "refuses" money and payment for repairs...) I thank you guys from the bottom of my heart and I pray that God will continue to bless you, your families and your business. ( Sorry to carry on like this, but I am just overjoyed to know that some people are STILL honest and care about doing what is right and fair.) I took my car there at the last minute for an alignment and the sexy, thick, gentleman at the counter told me they would take care of me and they did just that. I also purchased tires and all the workers there were very cool and nice to me. I can't think of the thick guys name, however, he knows his stuff. I would recommend this place highly for any vehicle need. I was treated with much respect and all the other customers that were there were also treated the same. I love to see that!! i took my hummer limo to this place and the guy checked it out and said it would be 90.00 it took them 3 hours to fix that little peice and when i went to pick it up and i started it up and it still made noise in the same spot,,,,then the manager said it would be 300.00 to fix it ,,,never again am i gonna take our limos the for nothing,,,worst place to take your car to!!!!!!!! and the welder nico cant weld either sorry job he did using putty to patch up holes..... read more
